Abstract

Greetings are a part of speech commonly used in everyday life. Formal and informal language can be used to greet people. Greeting words can also be used as pronouns for other people in the communication process. This part of speech is used to address someone in both singular and plural forms. This research uses a type of qualitative research using descriptive methods focuses on a phenomenological perspective to understand the meaning of events and interactions between people in Pariaman Society. The objective of this research is to identify the types of greeting words used by the Pariaman community and analyze each meaning of the greeting words. The data sources of this research originated from various sources, including informants who were born and raised in the community life of Pariaman city, various scientific papers and books. In the data collection process, this research conducted interviews and read some information from data sources, then identified and classified the data. This study found that kinship greetings in Pariaman city society are divided into three parts based on the person to be addressed, including upper ego group, parallel to the ego, and lower ego group. Gender differences also affect the different forms of greeting words used by Pariaman people.

Abstract

Risk management is still not successfully implemented in all governments, including the Yogyakarta City Government, in the current government environment. The implementation of risk management in the Yogyakarta City Government is still ineffective compared to other regional governments. The objectives of the government can be achieved by performing risk management and implementing good governance, as discussed in PP Number 60 of 2008 and KMK Number 577/KMK.01/2019. The study will discuss how the Yogyakarta City Government uses risk management to good governance on financial aspects. This research uses a method of qualitative approach with a type of descriptive research analysis by conducting surveys at government agencies as a data analysis technique. According to the findings of this study, the implementation of risk management in the Yogyakarta City Government on the financial side is still less effective due to a number of problems, including a lack of clear outputs and outcomes, lack of adequate technological means, and the low level of discipline of officials in the Government of Yogyakarta. Abstract

The right to mental health is an integral part of the right to health with the main responsibility for fulfilling it is the obligation of the state according toestablished right. The government as a tool of the state has an obligation to be responsible for the implementation of mental health efforts for its citizens. However, if you look atthe current condition of access to mental health services in Indonesia still does not meet the need for health services which are the responsibility of the government, such as the lack of quality, equitable and affordable health services. This study aims to find out more regarding the government's responsibility for community mental health and efforts to implement mental health. The research method used in this study is an empirical juridical research. This research will be conducted with an empirical approach supported by normative data. Based on the research that has been done An optimal strategy needs to be implemented for each individual, family and community with a comprehensive, integrated and sustainable promotive, preventive, curative and rehabilitative approach as an effort to tackle mental health in Indonesia

Abstract

Anxiety is a sense of restlessness, together with fear or worry, that may be mild or intense. Everyone has emotions of tension at some unspecified time in the future in their life. For example, you can experience involved and hectic approximately sitting an exam, or having a scientific test or job interview. Anxiety is a normal thing to feel when someone faces a situation or hears news that causes fear or worry. However, you need to be wary of anxiety if it appears for no reason or is difficult to control, because it could be caused by an anxiety disorder. This research aims to find out what elements are more likely to cause anxiety as felt by researchers in semester 4 of the English Department at Muhammadiyah University, Sorong. This research uses qualitative research techniques with a case study method. The setting of the study changed in the 4th semester of the English department of Sorong Muhammadiyah University. The study at carried out in the 4th semester of the English branch of Sorong Muhammadiyah University from April 14 to May 17, 2023. It consisted of interviews and more than one classroom observation for around a month in the 4th semester of the English branch of Sorong Muhammadiyah University. In collecting the data researcher uses interview and observation techniques. While analyzing data she reduces the data, displays and concludes. Based on the findings, the elements that contribute to anxiety might be categorized as follows: 1. Factors that Contribute to Anxiety come from Teacher (a). Speaking in front of the elegance. (b). Incomprehensible enter (c). Teachers’ character and attitude. 2. Factors that Contribute to Anxiety come from Students (a). Being laughed at with the aid of others (b). Students’ ideals about the language learning (c). Lack of education.

Abstract

Aplikasi e-Court merupakan inovasi baru bagi Mahkamah Agung Republik Indonesia dalam mewujudkan reformasi di dunia peradilan Indonesia (Justice Reform) yang mensinergikan peran teknologi informasi (IT) dengan hukum acara (IT for Judiciary),studi ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui Pengaturan Administrasi Perkara Dan Persidangan Di Pengadilan Secara Elektronik Berdasarkan Peraturan Mahkamah Agung Nomor 7 Tahun 2022 dan Implementasi Administrasi Perkara Dan Persidangan Di Pengadilan Secara Elektronik Berdasarkan Peraturan Mahkamah Agung Nomor 7 Tahun 2022 di Pengadilan Negri Praya, Metode Penelitian yang digunakan yaitu Penelitian Hukum Empiris dengan didukung oleh penelitian Hukum Normatif (Perundang-undangan). Penerapan E-Court di Indonesia telah mulai diterapkan paska dikeluarkannya Peraturan Mahkamah Agung Nomor 3 Tahun 2018 Sebagaimana telah diubah dalam Perma Nomor 1 Tahun 2019 Tentang Administrasi Perkara dan Persidangan di Pengadilan secara Elektronik. E-court merupakan salah satu bentuk implementasi Sistem Pemerintahan Berbasis Elektronik (“SPBE”) Yang telah diatur dalam Peraturan Presiden Nomor 95 Tahun 2018 tentang Sistem Pemerintahan Berbasis Elektronik. Di lingkungan Pengadilan Negeri Praya Nusa Tenggara Barat perkara E-Court diterima sebanyak 193 perkara, terdiri dari 101 perkara gugatan, 9 perkara bantahan, 1 perkara khusus parta politik, 17 perkara gugatan sederhana dan 65 perkara permohonan. E-Court merupakan salah satu bentuk implementasi Sistem Pemerintahan Berbasis Elektronik.

Abstract

The aim of this study is to identify the types of directive speech used by the main character in the short film "Ke Jogja". The research question focuses on the speech act that the main character performs towards his interlocutor. Qualitative methods have been used in this study and have led to the following observations. Firstly, a literature review that examines directive speech acts in films has been used to collect data. Data is gathered from conversations between the primary actors and their speech partners. Documentation techniques are then executed, followed by recording the movie script to use as a data source for literature review. The study revealed three categories of directive speech: asking (25%), telling (70%), and commanding. Telling was the most commonly used form of speech act in the film. The main character in the film frequently communicates his objectives to prevent misunderstandings arising from cultural and linguistic disparities. This study's results are anticipated to be valuable to a movie audience, as comprehension of a film's language patterns enhances viewers' appreciation of its objectives. On the contrary, studying speech acts may have real-life applications when observing the speech acts of speakers and conversational partners from diverse linguistic and cultural backgrounds.

Abstract

Climate change and natural disasters pose significant challenges to countries around the world. The Indonesian government has implemented various policies to address climate change issues and mitigate the impact of natural disasters. However, the effectiveness and impact of these policies remain unclear. This research aims to evaluate the current policies implemented by the Indonesian government in addressing climate change issues and mitigating the impact of natural disasters. It also aims to identify the key challenges faced by the Indonesian government in policy implementation and assess the effectiveness of these policies in reducing climate change risks and mitigating the impact of natural disasters in Indonesia. Additionally, potential areas for strengthening and improving government policies will be explored. A qualitative research method will be adopted, utilizing secondary data sources such as reports, academic journals, and government publications. These sources will be analyzed to gain insights into the current policies and their effectiveness. The research finds that the Indonesian government has implemented several policies to tackle climate change issues and natural disaster mitigation. Key challenges faced include limited resources, a complex bureaucratic structure, and difficulties in enforcement. While the current policies have had some impact in reducing climate change risks and mitigating the impact of natural disasters, their effectiveness is hindered by these challenges. The evaluation suggests the need for strengthening and improving Indonesian government policies on climate change and natural disaster mitigation. This includes enhancing resource allocation, streamlining bureaucratic processes, and improving enforcement mechanisms.

Abstract

  This research aims at revealing values, belief and assumptions are found in Kim Namjoon’s speech text on campaigning “Love Yourself” and to know types of figurative language used in the speech. This research used descriptive qualitative method. The instrument used in this research was the speech text transcript and speech video that retrieved from YouTube. Data collection techniques used in this research was library research techniques, thus seeing and recording as the main approach to collect the data. The qualitative data analysis was employed after following stages; analyzing data reduction, data display and verification.

Abstract

Siri' and Pacce are a philosophy of life as well as a value system that guides the lives of the Bugis and Makassar people and other ethnic groups in South Sulawesi. The importance of this value is that the essence of existence and the meaning of human life according to the people in this area is largely determined by the practice of the Siri' value, as in the classic expression Siri' is what differentiates humans from animals. As time progresses and social changes occur, there is a degradation of the value of Siri' and it tends to no longer be part of society's social system. This paper examines the phenomenon of social life in Makassar City, especially in public spaces which have ignored the Siri' and Pacce values, forms of value degradation, as well as the importance of revitalizing these noble local cultural values. This is important as the saying that the condition of a city is a reflection of the people who live there.

Abstract

Research with the title political education in the perspective of the Qur'an: The implementation of the political culture of a civilized society is motivated by the increasingly sharp political conditions in Indonesia, so that the political aspirations conveyed by the community have seen the capacity of political channels (political parties) in society. The focus of his research is 1) The perspective of the Qur'an, 2) Channels of political education in society, 3) Building a political culture of a civilized society . The research method is library research with literature study, articles, scientific journals, and searches on qur`an interpretations related to political issues. The results of research 1) The perspective of the qur`an, that is, in tracing the Qur'an, verses that reveal political problems are found. In Islam it is known as fiqih siyasah, which is legal knowledge derived from the Al-Qur`an and Sunnah. 2) Channels of political education have two things, firstly formal education, namely political education through formal schools, the second is community education carried out by political parties towards the community. 3) Building a political culture of a civilized society, there are many verses that lead to the formation of a political culture of a civilized society through party cadre and party socialization
