Abstract

Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Perumahan Bhakti Karya Asri RT 02 RW 01 Kasang Kulim Desa Kubang Jaya Kecamatan Siak Hulu Kampar. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk Mengetahui Fungsi Komunikasi Keluarga Anak-anak Berprestasi Di Sekolah pada Perumahan Bhakti  Karya Asri. Manfaat penelitian Menjadikan pengetahuan yang baru dalam ilmu Komunikasi bahwa fungsi komunikasi keluarga sangat penting dalam meningkatkan prestasi anak-anak disekolah dan menjadikan referensi bagi peneliti dan pemerhati fungsi komunikasi. Waktu pelaksanaan penelitian ini dimulai dari bulan Juli sampai September tahun 2023. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Teknik  analisis data dengan analisis kualitatif. Dari hasil penelitian didapatkan bahwa fungsi komunikasi dalam keluarga menjadikan anak-anak berprestasi di Sekolah. Anak-anak memiliki konsep diri yang baik untuk meraih cita-cita dan impiannya. Dengan fungsi komunikasi yang berjalan baik dalam keluarga menjadikan anak-anak senang dan memiliki rasa aman dalam keluarganya, sehingga orang tua sangat mudah untuk memotivasi dan merubah perilaku anak menjadi lebih baik dan berprestasi di Sekolah. Fungsi komunikasi dalam keluarga sangat penting untuk membangun konsep diri anak, untuk aktualisasi diri dan memperoleh kebahagiaan. Anak-anak yang sudah terbangun konsep dirinya dengan baik akan mudah meraih prestasinya di Sekolah. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang telah dilakukan di Perumahan Bhakti Karya Asri, disarankan agar para orangtua bisa melakukan dan menerapkan fungsi komunikasi dalam keluarga dengan baik agar mudah dalam membimbing dan memotivasi anak untuk berprestasi.

Abstract

The current development of technology and information has made business in the world increasingly rapid so that business opportunities, both goods and services, are opened. Therefore, business people are required to be more careful in business competition in order to remain in the competition. Businessmen must pay attention to marketing to consumers so that consumers are interested in buying the products offered. This condition causes business people to try to find the right strategy in marketing their products. One of the strategies undertaken by business people is social media marketing through Instagram which is positive in the minds of consumers. This study uses the purchase interest theory from Ferdinand's source (2002: 129) and Lidyawatie (2008:78). The purpose of this study was to determine how far Social Media Marketing affects Ana Sukarara's consumer buying interest. The method used in this study is a survey sample method with data obtained through a Google Form questionnaire to 100 respondents. The results showed that Social Media Marketing has an influence with a significance level of 0.000, this indicates that Social Media Marketing has a significant positive effect on purchase intention.

Abstract

Non-performing financing (NPF) is very common in Sharia banking, which is the main reason the availability of collateral from the customer is considered very important. This research aims to examine the role of collateral in resolving problematic productive financing, especially at PT Bank NTB Syariah Praya. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative where researchers collect data through observation, documentation, and in-depth interviews with customers and employees of PT Bank NTB Syariah Praya. The data was then analyzed by reducing them into more concise and relevant data, presented in the form of interview quotations that were easy to understand, and relevant conclusions were drawn based on the interpretation of the data collected. The results of this research indicate that PT Bank NTB Syariah Praya requires its customers to provide collateral when applying for financing and is committed to auctioning collateral if the customer is unable to complete the financing received for any reason and if the bank believes that the customer will not be able to complete the financing in the future. However, this is hampered by a mismatch in the type of collateral provided by customers. The results of this research can be a basis for banks to review policies regarding the types of collateral allowed as a form of mitigating the risk of the emergence of more NPFs.

Abstract

Discussions about the risks and opportunities of youngsters accessing digital media need to take place in the current era of hyper-globalization. Prior studies suggest that enhancing teenagers' fundamental skills is the most effective approach to enhance internet possibilities and mitigate online risks. This project aims to assess computational thinking skills, critical thinking skills, and communication skills in relation to enhancing online possibilities and mitigating online risks. The second goal is to confirm the predicted characteristics that impact students' online danger and online opportunity through the PLS-SEM analytic method. 356 students participated in the survey. The research confirms that critical thinking and communication abilities can decrease online danger, however computational thinking skills do not impact online risk. The research findings successfully predicted that computational thinking skills, critical thinking skills, and communication skills positively impacted online opportunities. Students can mitigate online dangers when accessing digital media by employing critical thinking and communication skills, as indicated by the findings of this research. Students must enhance their fundamental skills including computational thinking, critical thinking, and communication to maximise online prospects.

Abstract

This research investigates the optimization of the defense logistics transportation system in Indonesia, focusing on the Indonesian Armed Forces. The study aims to identify key components and stakeholders in the defense logistics transportation system, explore the main challenges and obstacles faced in optimizing the system, and propose strategies to improve its efficiency and effectiveness. Utilizing qualitative research methods, secondary data from government reports, academic publications, and industry sources are analyzed. Key findings reveal the intricate network of components and stakeholders involved in the defense logistics transportation system, including government agencies, military branches, private contractors, and international partners. Major challenges identified include inadequate infrastructure, limited resources, bureaucratic inefficiencies, and security concerns. These challenges impede the timely and cost-effective delivery of essential supplies to military operations. The research concludes by proposing strategies to address these challenges and enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the defense logistics transportation system. These strategies encompass infrastructure development, capacity building, technology integration, collaboration among stakeholders, and policy reforms.

Abstract

This study examines the use of figurative language in biscuit slogans in commercial media, focusing on advertisements from 2015 to 2020. The research aims to explore the linguistic functions of figurative language in advertising and its impact on consumer perception and behavior. A descriptive qualitative research approach is employed, with data collected from fifteen biscuit slogans featured on social media platforms, particularly YouTube. The analysis reveals a variety of figurative language types used in these slogans, including metaphors, symbols, rhetorical questions, assonance, alliteration, repetition, hyperbole, and personification. The findings suggest that figurative language is a powerful tool in advertising, influencing consumer perceptions and brand engagement. The study highlights the importance of cultural elements in slogan creation and the effectiveness of figurative language in making slogans memorable and persuasive. Future research should focus on empirically measuring the impact of figurative language in advertising across different cultural contexts to optimize advertising strategies and enhance brand communication.

Abstract

The quality of the 76-year-old Central Lombok logo is considered to lack good readability and efficiency. This can affect the quality of the audience’s readability in understanding the visuals. Moreover, Central Lombok is a mirror reflection of Indonesia at international scale MotoGP events and is required to develop regional branding. The aim of this research is to analyze the level of readability and efficiency through analyzing the use of color and the application of typography in the logo. The method used in this research uses quantitative methods with research stages including the data collection process through digital observation on the diskominfoloteng Instagram. In the research results, the error in choosing colors in the 76 Central Lombok logo by using red and white in the logo, where the two colors have very different color intensities and different levels of legibility, readability and visibility, gives rise to poor readability. Due to the addition of a script font to the 76 Years of Central Lombok logo design. The results show that the choice of color intensity can influence the application of media to dark or light backgrounds. The author provides a solution in the form of using one color in one logo structure and the author also recommends that designers do not use script fonts in a logo so that typographic principles can be maximally applied in all media applications.

Abstract

In contemporary geopolitics, the formulation of defense policies is subject to a complex interplay of external factors, ranging from the influence of powerful actors to economic interests and ideational factors. This research aims to deepen our understanding of the external factors shaping defense policy decisions and their implications for national security strategies. Drawing upon qualitative research methods using secondary data analysis, this study investigates three key dimensions: "The Interplay of Power: External Actors and National Defense Policy," "The Intersection of Money and Muscle: Economic Interests in Defense Policy," and "The Power of Ideas: How Ideational Factors Shape Defense Policy." The findings reveal the significant role of external actors, such as superpowers and international organizations, in shaping defense policy decisions through various mechanisms of influence. Moreover, economic interests, including arms trade and energy security considerations, emerge as critical determinants of defense policy priorities. Furthermore, conceptual factors, such as security narratives and public perceptions of threats, profoundly influence defense policy formulation. This research contributes to the existing literature by comprehensively analyzing the multifaceted nature of external factors shaping defense policy decisions. The novelty lies in the holistic approach that integrates insights from political science, economics, and security studies. Abstract: Technological innovation has revolutionized hospital strategic management, impacting operational efficiency, patient care quality, and leadership strategies. This research aims to analyze the multifaceted impact of technological innovation on hospital strategic management, focusing on three key dimensions: operational efficiency and resource allocation, patient care quality, safety, and satisfaction, and strategic implications for hospital leadership, governance, and long-term sustainability. Utilizing qualitative research methods, secondary data from recent literature and studies are analyzed to provide insights into the influence of technological innovation. Findings reveal that technological innovation enhances hospital workflows, optimizes resource allocation, improves clinical outcomes, enhances patient safety, and satisfaction, and necessitates strategic adjustments in leadership, governance, and investment strategies. Abstract

Penelitian ini mengulas pentingnya kerjasama dan penerapan strategi Pentahelix dalam pengembangan kawasan wisata Senggigi di Lombok Barat. Meskipun kawasan tersebut memiliki potensi besar sebagai destinasi wisata, namun menghadapi beberapa tantangan, termasuk kurangnya kerjasama antar pemangku kepentingan. Melalui analisis deskriptif kualitatif, tulisan ini menjelaskan peran yang dimainkan oleh setiap aktor dalam Pentahelix dalam upaya pembangunan berkelanjutan, yakni pemerintah, industri, akademisi, masyarakat, dan media. Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa kerjasama yang efektif di antara semua pemangku kepentingan menjadi kunci untuk mencapai pembangunan pariwisata yang berkelanjutan. Pemerintah memegang peranan utama dalam merumuskan kebijakan dan regulasi yang mendukung pembangunan berkelanjutan, sementara industri pariwisata perlu berperan dalam pengembangan infrastruktur dan layanan yang ramah lingkungan. Akademisi dapat memberikan kontribusi berupa pengetahuan dan penelitian untuk mendukung inovasi dan pembangunan yang berkelanjutan, sedangkan partisipasi aktif masyarakat sangat diperlukan dalam menjaga kelestarian lingkungan. Dengan memanfaatkan hubungan yang saling terkait antara elemen-elemen model Pentahelix, kerjasama yang efektif antar semua pemangku kepentingan dapat terwujud, sehingga pengembangan kawasan wisata Senggigi di Lombok Barat dapat berlangsung secara berkelanjutan dengan menjaga kelestarian lingkungan dan memberikan manfaat optimal bagi masyarakat lokal dan industri pariwisata.
