Abstract

The integration of Internet of Things (IoT) technology and green principles offers promising prospects for the tourism industry to improve destination quality and operational efficiency. IoT provides innovative solutions in tourism governance, including the application of digital technology in the hospitality sector. Through a network of interconnected sensor devices and communication systems, IoT enables comprehensive information collection, real-time monitoring, and management of various operational aspects. This research also examines study findings related to the influence of employee behavior on customer service performance. Good hotel operations require assurance of data privacy and security, resolution of technology compatibility issues, and large investments supported by environmentally sound management governance (green operations). Implementation of green operations is proven to have a significant and positive impact on environmental performance. The study concluded that the full implementation of internal green management mediated the relationship between stakeholder pressure and environmental performance outcomes. Although the integration of IoT and green effect faces challenges, its potential benefits in developing Palangka Raya City as a tourist destination make it a strategy with great potential for future progress

Abstract

Abstract

Salah satu faktor yang mempengaruhi subjective well-being adalah family well-being.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the implementation of Project Quality Management (PQM) in the First Year Inspection (FYI) milestone of the Muara Tawar Add-On Combined Cycle Power Plant (PLTGU) Block 2 project, and to design an integrated business process using the lean construction approach. A mixed-methods research design was applied, combining observation, in-depth interviews, and document analysis. The findings reveal that the PQM implementation, based on PMBOK 7 principles—namely Quality Planning, Quality Assurance, and Quality Control—was mostly at a “partial fit” level due to non-standardized documentation and delays in corrective actions. The FYI business process was mapped using Value Stream Mapping (VSM) and Big Picture Mapping (BPM) to classify value-added (VA), non-value-added (NVA), and necessary non-value-added (NNVA) activities. Of the 23 total activities analyzed, 14 were identified as value-added, while 2 were classified as wasteful. The main causes of inefficiency included waiting time, unnecessary inventory, and excessive transportation. These were mitigated through the integration of collaborative spreadsheets and improved stakeholder coordination. The study emphasizes the importance of having a single source of truth in defect monitoring among project stakeholders (owner, contractor, consultant) to enable better communication and decision-making. Results demonstrate that the resolution of FYI pending items was completed earlier than the planned schedule, validating the effectiveness of integrating lean construction tools to enhance PQM outcomes in power plant construction projects.

Abstract

Existing business law regulations are still based on conventional models, so they are not fully relevant to digital dynamics. MSMEs have a strategic role in the Indonesian economy. However, the great potential of these MSMEs is often hampered by various factors, one of which is the weak legal support of businesses that can protect and empower them in the digital era. Competition between MSMEs and large companies has become increasingly sharp in this era. The problems in this study are formulated as follows: how the current non-conformity of business law regulations affects the competitiveness of MSMEs in the digital era, and what are the main challenges faced by MSMEs in accessing legal protection, access to capital, and digital market opportunities?, what are new regulatory models that can be designed to support the strengthening of business laws for MSMEs in the digital era, so that they can increase their competitiveness effectively and sustainably? The research will use an analytical descriptive research method approach to obtain comprehensive results. Primary data was collected through a survey of 100 Business Actors and in-depth interviews with 10-15 selected participants (Consumers). Normative-empirical Legal Approach. Normative approach: ustaka study on the Job Creation Law, ITE Law, Ministerial Regulation related to MSMEs and digitalization, academic literature and legal journals. Empirical approach: Interviews with MSME actors, local governments, MSME Associations, and business law experts. Field observation on MSME digital business practices, and filling out questionnaires. This research shows that there is a discrepancy between the current business law regulations and the real needs of MSMEs in the digital era, especially in North Sulawesi. The applicable regulations have not been able to provide adaptive, inclusive, and applicable legal protection in facing the challenges of digital transformation. Digitized MSMEs face obstacles in the form of legal uncertainty, limited access to regulatory information, and lack of legal support from local governments. To answer these problems, a new regulatory model is needed that is modular, adaptive to technology, and based on sectoral needs. This model must be developed through a participatory approach, which combines legal doctrinal studies with direct input from MSME actors as the main subject. The implementation of this new regulation must also be accompanied by strengthening digital legal literacy and providing access to easy, cheap, and digital-based legal assistance.
