Abstract

The property of plastic which is durable, light and heat resistant make plastic use more increasingly. But the plastic waste has big impact to the environment due to hard to decompose. Plastic waste distillation by pyrolysis method could be one of how to reduce the plastic waste. Plastic waste can be processed into alternative fuel more useful. The distillation rig consist of 2 kg LDPE plastic waste reactor equipped with pyrolysis tube with spiral coil inside of 4x1.4 m. The spiral coil inside the pyrolysis tube as direct cooling coil flowed by propylene glycol with 5 temperature variations, -9°C, -3°C, 3°C, 9°C and atmospheric temperature. The cooling process done by brine cooling machine. Burning process using fire stove of ±400°C with 3kg LPG. Distillation process using refrigeration system produce more alternative fuel compared to pyrolysis process without refrigeration system. On secondary refrigerant temperature of -9°C, -3°C, 3°C, 9°C and without refrigeration system, produce alternative fuel of 1920 mL, 1290 mL, 1050 mL, 630 mL, 430 mL. Abstract

Mining business license area of ​​PT. XYZ is one of them located in Palu City, Central Sulawesi Province. As a form of effort to reduce the impact of mining activities, it is necessary to have the role of the community to support the company in an effort to reduce the negative impacts that arise. The purpose of this research is to examine the community development and empowerment program as well as to examine the success of the community development and empowerment program in two fields, namely economic independence and socio-cultural independence. This research was conducted by distributing questionnaires to the community around the mining area. Samples were taken at simple random sampling with a total sample of 90 respondents. The sample testing method in this study was carried out in several stages, namely normality test and continued with score interpretation to determine the extent of the community development and empowerment program that the company had carried out. The results of the research that have shown that the program in the field of economic independence gets a "good enough" category with a value of 56.125%, and for the socio-cultural field it has a "quite good" result with a value of 59.25%. Abstract

ABSTRACT The reduction of the intensity of the electric field exposure under the Extra High Voltage Transmission Lines was carried out by modifying the Maxwell Potential Coefficient Matrix modelling at condition the "with and without" ground wire which was grounded and stretched parallel to the stretch of the phase conductor. The development through the innovation of this single ground wire into a grid, which was placed under the EHV Transmission Lines, reduced the exposure the intensity of the electric field under the EHV Transmission Lines. The modelling method carried out by solving the electrostatic equation for each phase conductor which also accompanied by a ground wire which was stretched under the EHV Transmission Lines with a certain height above the ground surface. The single grounding wire were formed into the gratings wire. The results of this innovation can be used for houses that located under the EHV Transmission Lines route where the top of the gratings wire can also be added with types of vines/flowering plants that can be increased aesthetic aspects. Abstract

ABSTRACT Laterite nickel sediment especially on layers’ limonite which are mined made as a product does not have economical valued, where this material was only made as a mined road hoarder or stacked and left useless without further handling. So, it is necessary to do a research to determine the content and distribution of metal elements in front nickel mining on layer limonite in Huko-Huko village, Sub district Pomalaa in Southeast Sulawesi province by using the method SEM-EDX (Scanning Electron Microscopy-Energy Dispersive x-ray) with the results obtained from the analysis of seven samples tested using SEM-EDX get that the highest element in the sample material in front nickel mining are Fe is 50.60%, O is 44.90%, Al is 5,40%, Cr is 2.22%, Mn is 1.63% , Mg of 8.19%, Si is 13.11%, and Ni is 2.27%.

Abstract

The house is a building that cannot be separated from human life because the house is a primary need for human. In the word of constructions there are several stages in planning a construction, one of which is planning the work time to complete a project. A project management method is needed to create a schedule that functions as a monitoring medium for the project. With project management can help manage project in terms of planning and organizing to achieve project goals. Project management can maximize the potential of workers as much as possible, minimize the risk of project failure and create the right time, cost, and quality planning framework. The project to be studied is controlling the constructions time of the type 86 house in Semarang, Central Java Province. The purpose of this study is to obtain the optimal completion time in the construction of a type 86 house. In this study will use the Critical Path Method (CPM) to identify activities that are included in the critical path. In this study, it begins by determining work items, calculating the duration and labor requirements of each work item, determining the ralationship between jobs, making a block chart or barchart, making an S curve, creating a network palnning, and ending with determining the critical path of the whole job. In this study, several data were used, including: house plans, labor unit price analysis (AHSP), cost budget plan (RAB), and the curve S as a reference. Calculated using the help of Microsoft Excel software. Based on the result of the analysis and calculations that have been carried out, the required completion time for the construction of a type 86 house in the city of Semarang is 93 days. Abstract

Gunung Kidul Regency, especially Ponjong District, in the period until 2019 there has been subsidence in several villages with different location points.The sinkhole that occurs has varying hole diameters and depths. The research method used is the surface geology method and the subsurface method which includes observations of morphology, rock and geological structures and subsurface including geoelectric data collection of the Schlumberger configuration. Based on the results of the occurrence of subsidence in the research area, there is a conclusion that in Bedoyo Village and its surroundings there are 2 types of subsidence, namely dropout sinkhole and suffosion sinkhole. The results of the analysis of surface and subsurface geological data show that there are 3 subsidence hazard zones in the study area, namely the vulnerable zone (55%), medium zone (38%), and low zone (7%).

Abstract

The northern coastal area of Pekalongan is an area that is often affected by tidal flooding or better known as tidal flooding. Geomorphologically, the Pekalongan region is located on the north coast of Java Island which has an alluvial plain and a flood plain. This study aims to zoning the distribution of tidal flooding based on the weighted value of the parameters on the north coast of Pekalongan, and to provide directions for tidal flood mitigation. The map processing process is supported by Landsat 8 imagery and DEM data. The research method used is in the form of scoring, weighting and overlay methods. The results of the study are flood vulnerability, high vulnerability is located in North Pekalongan Regency with a difference in height <5m (low) and a slope of 2-7% (ramps), vulnerability is located in Siwalan Regency with a difference in height of 5-50 m (moderate), and slopes. a slope of 2-7% (sloping), while low vulnerability is located in Tirto District with a difference of> 50 m (height), and 8-13% (slope). Abstract

The phenomenon of a geological object that is formed in the form of a columnar joint structure in the Lemahabang, Doro, Pekalongan, Central Java area is one of the formations of volcanic activity that happened in the past. Local community assumes that this phenomenon is an ancient relic in the form of megalithic site, but it can be explained scientifically through an analysis of the columnar joint characteristic by using field and petrografy data. The observasion by using quantitative and qualitative methods on rock samples in the research area showed that these rocks are andesite were afanitic-porphyritic textured with the type of colonnade and 4-7 facet formation with a diameter ranging from 30-87 centimeters. Columnar joint in the research area has dimention of 5 to 7 meters of height with a vertical orientation direction (80-90⁰) and horizontal orientation direction (0-30⁰). The purpose of this research is to provide an overview how columnar joint structure in Lemahabang can form so the local community doesn’t assume that the geological phenomenon is a tample.

Abstract

The location of research is located at east part of Kulonprogo mountains, exactly on Mujil mountain which are composed by the Formation of Kebobutak (Tmok). Its appearance is in the form of an isolated hill among surroundings, making different interpretations of experts regarding the genetic of Mujil mountain, and make the geological conditions in the research area interesting enough to be studied, especially the characteristics of the igneous rocks. This research is intended to completing existing geological data, so it can be used as complementary data in the interpretation of the Mujil mountain genetic. The research methods used surface data acquisition continued by petrological analysis and petrographic. The result of analysis from the 9 observation locations, it was concluded that the rocks is varied between the Basaltic Andesite to Pyroxene Andesite (Streckeisen, 1978). Based on the data, here are anomalies in LP-1 and LP-9 which are more basaltic than others so that it is interpreted as a product of volcanism that is different from the surroundings both in the form of volcanic products (monogenetic system) or the result of the stepped down of volcanic products around it.

Abstract

Sambirejo Village, Prambanan District, Sleman District, Yogyakarta's Special Territory, as well as the most likely landslides disaster is high. This is evident in the multitude of incidents of motion on the ground, and it has resulted in the both physical and loss of life. The study was conducted to analyze ground-movement rock by means of a method of mapping surface geology and subsurface geological mapping. The mapping of surface geology provides insight into such as surfaces area litology, morphology, and geological structures. Sub-surface mapping of geology provides insight into the state of geology below the surface, such as lyric and geological structures. The research area have steep topography dominated by the sedimentary rock of a Tuff and Breksi Andesit and have high rainfall figures every beginning and end of the year. This study produced a subsurface 2D Geological modelling that was useful for investigating rocks from the trigger of soil motion. The existing type of soil movement is creep. Updated research can be used as of basic information on disaster mitigation, and regional building. Keywords: Sambirejo Village, Landslides, Tuff, Breksi Andesit.
