Abstract

Yogyakarta International Airport, is a new airport which built because Adisucipto Airport exceeds operating capacity. But, the existence of a new airport in Kulon Progo raises several new problems, one of which is the accessibility of public transportation. The ease of accessibility of public transportation, especially trains is very important, so that in 2020 the YIA Airport Railway construction project began. One of the bridges used on the YIA Airport Railway is the WTP Double which is steel bridge. It will review the design of the plate girder from the BH-1979 Bridge which is a WTP Double bridge located at stationing 0+175. The method used in the completion of this final project begins with observing the BH-1979 Bridge, then taking data from Istaka-Catur-Mina, KSO. Furthermore, the calculation of the load using PM Nomor 60 Tahun 2012 and SNI 2833:2016 and analyzed using SAP2000. The results of the analysis obtained are, Vu = 214,834 kN and Mu = 470,472 kNm on Stringer Beam. Then, Vu = -596,926 kN and Mu = 1.490,0013 kNm on Floor Beam. Abstract

The Pangandaran Earthquake and Tsunami on July 17, 2006 was an unforgettable moment. To commemorate this moment, Pangandaran Tsunami Museum was designed.as a historical monument, an education and recreation center in Pangandaran. The approach to the architectural theme at the Pangandaran Tsunami Museum is the application of the metaphor architecture. The research methodology used is the qualitative method, with observation, interview, and dokumentation as the data collection technique. The research results are 1) Pangandaran Tsunami Museum uses an analogy like a sea wave which is based on the idea of ​​the tsunami incident, 2) The application of the metaphor architecture can be seen from the facade, floor plans, colors, ceiling patterns, and interior of Pangandaran Tsunami Museum.

Abstract

Science and technology are the determining factors for a country to be able to move forward to save the economy. In Indonesia the development of science and technology parks (STP) has been encouraged by the Government since 2002. which is regulated in Law Number 18 of 2002. The planning of Purwokerto Technology Park as a bridge to connect government and educational institutions in the field of information technology with the industrial world. The rapid development of the city of Purwokerto has great potential for the fulfillment of technology education facilities and business activities. The research methodology used is the qualitative method, with observation, interview, and dokumentation as the data collection technique, so that the data collected is in the form of words, pictures, and not numbers.The research results are 1) The basic form of Purwokerto Technology Park is a hexagonal shape, 2) The application of contemporary architecture are transparent materials, monochrome color, building voids, and the application of kinetic facade.

Abstract

The Nanggulan Formation as the oldest formation in the Kulon Progo Mountains is not only exposed in a type location in the Nanggulan area, Kalibawang. However, in the western area of ​​the Sermo Reservoir, precisely in the hills around the Kokap, the Nanggulan Formation is found in several places. The existence of the Nanggulan Formation around the Sermo Reservoir is suspected to have triggered the occurrence of ground movements in this area. The purpose of this research is to map the ground motion. The purpose of the study was to determine the potential for ground motion in the study area. The research area is included in the southern Kulon Progo Dome Mountain Zone. This ground motion zoning mapping was carried out based on the AHP (methodAnalytical Hierarchy Process) using the weighted values ​​of four parameters. The parameters used are slope, lithology, land use and rainfall. The results of AHP processing using Arc GIS software produce a landslide susceptibility zoning map which is divided into 5 classes (very low, low, medium, high and very high). Based on the results of mapping using the AHP method, the most vulnerable area is Hargowilis Village which is composed of claystone lithology from the Nanggulan Formation. Abstract

Purbalingga is considered the best district that packs tourism development, one of the most famous tourist destinations in Purbalingga Regency is the Reptile Park Tourism Object, namely Sanggaluri Park. The physical condition of Sanggaluri Park has a lot of damage that makes visitors feel uncomfortable, there is no renovation and there is still a lack of maintenance so that the facilities are getting worse day by day. From several existing facilities at Sanggaluri Park, it was found that there was a decrease in quality for humans and animals, animal show areas, cages, and also other facilities that needed to be improved to support the function as a place for conservation, recreation and education. The structuring and development efforts are intended to create a new direction or pattern without leaving the existing environmental context and one of them is the development of the Reptile Park area into a tourist attraction using environmental themes. It is hoped that using the Ecological Architecture approach can be an effort to care for the current and future environment, be able to protect and maintain nature and the ecosystem in it and can create comfort for its residents.

Abstract

The research has been conducted to make chitosan from shrimp shell with extraction using microwave. Microwave is a source of energy for heating and as a catalyst in a chemical reaction. The use of microwaves has advantages, namely short processing time, energy efficiency, easy process control, and produces good quality results. Isolation of chitin is done through three stages, namely demineralization, deproteination, and deacetylation. The process of deacetylation of chitin was done by varying heating time 3, 7, 11, and 15 minutes and varying NaOH concentration 20%, 30%, 40%, and 50%. 1:20 (mass/volume) of chitin were mixed with NaOH at the stage of deacetylation. The mixture put into the apparatus microwave in constant temperature at 60oC. Chitosan was washed until neutral and then was dried in oven until the mass was constant. The characterization was carried out using the Fourier Transform Infrared (FTIR) instrument and then the degree of deacetylation was calculated. The results that showed the degree of deacetylation is 69,7954%, water content 1.90%, and ash content 0.16% was achieved at reaction time in 3 minutes and NaOH concentration in 50%. Abstract

The Kulonprogo Mountains as part of the magmatism path of the southern mountains which have mineral potential with small to large economic value. Epithermal mineralization has previously been found in the Kokap, Gunung Gupit – Menoreh, and Bagelen – Gunung Agung areas. This study identifies mineralization in the central-proximal facies of the Purba Ijo Volcano in Sumbersari, Kaligesing, Purworejo by looking at the geological conditions and distribution patterns of minerals in alteration rocks to provide data and information on geological phenomena in the study area. The research was conducted using literature study, data collection and observation, laboratory work, as well as interpretation and research evaluation. The geological condition of the study area is in the central – proximal facies of Khuluk Gajah which consists of andesite lava intruded by microdiorite, quartz microdiorite, diorite, andesite, basaltic andesite, and covered with Jonggrangan limestone. Many intrusions are supported by structures that develop around the microdiorite intrusion. Mineralization develops associated with porphyry type I guess with stockwork and sheeted vein textures, with vein types A, AB, and D. The final phase of alteration is sericite, illite, kaolinite, and pyrite dissemination which shows overprint by the epithermal system. In the LP2B sample XRD analysis shows an epithermal process that enters the porphyry body. XRF micro-analysis showed a diffuse pattern of altered minerals with a predominance of Si and heavy minerals and relatively clustered sulfides with a predominance of Fe and Cu. The relatively dominant S and Si elements in each vein are interpreted as being carried by the fluid that forms the vein.

Abstract

The main press unit is the main part of the paving block printing machine using hydraulic power and a vibrator which is the development of the manual paving block printing machine. Currently, paving block printing machines which are usually carried out by workers manually have begun to be abandoned because the quality produced does not meet the SNI 03-0691-1996 standard and the demand is increasing. The purpose of this Main Press Unit design design is to design a paving block printing machine that can reach K400 quality and the amount of 100 m2 in a day. The main component design of the main press unit for the K400 type paving block printing machine (compressive strength 400 kg/cm2) consists of a middle hydraulic press with a pressure capacity of 10 MPa (compressive force of 12560 N with a bore diameter of 40 mm), two hydraulic side arm drives with 3.5 MPa capacity, two rear hydraulics driving the feeding box with a capacity of 3.5 MPa, main frame, upper mold, lower mold, lower mold vibrating table, upper mold vibrator, feeding box, and side molding drive arm. The total power requirement for all hydraulics is 1.606 kW (2.087 hp), while the total power requirement for the vibrator system is 1.47 kW (1.96 hp). This main press unit machine with a hydraulic pressure of 10 Mpa and with 15 pieces of mold can make paving blocks with K400 quality with a capacity of up to 100 m2 or more per day. The paving block materials used are; fine sand : coarse aggregate : fine aggregate : water plus concrete hardener ie 1/2 : 1 : 1 : 1/4.

Abstract

Administratively the research area is included in the Dieng Volcano Complex which consists of several volcanoes that have slopes steep. The steep slope is one of the main occurrences of landslide movements. Determination of landslide-prone areas using a scoring method with GIS software with parameters such as slope, rock type, soil type class, rainfall, and land use. Based on these 5 parameters, the research area is divided into 3 low landslide-prone areas with a value of 33.00-52.00 with an area of ​​24.19% of the research area which is generally spread out in the northern part of the research area occupying areas with relatively gentler slopes. Areas prone to moderate landslides with a value of 52.01-61.00 with an area of ​​28.91% of the research area which are generally spread out in the middle of the research area occupy areas with relatively steep slopes. Areas prone to landslides are high with a value of 61.01-80.00 with an area of ​​46.90% of the research area which is generally spread in the uthern part of the researh area occupying areas with steep-very steep slopes. Abstract

PT Kulon Progo Bumi Sejahtera (PT KPBS) merupakan suatu perusahaan yang bergerak dalam bidang pertambangan batu andesit yang berada di desa Krendetan, kecamatan Bagelen, kabupaten Purworejo, Provinsi Jawa Tengah. Dalam penentuan nilai sumberdaya endapan dibutuhkan teknik yang tepat dengan beberapa metode, salah satunya dengan menggunakan metode Inverse distance weighted. Oleh karena itu kegiatan penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghitung dan mengetahui besar potensi sumberdaya andesit dengan menggunakan metode Inverse distance weighted dengan parameter power 1,2 dan 3 yang dievaluasi menggunakan Cross validation dengan nilai Root Mean Square Error. Dalam proses penaksiran data yang digunakan berupa data resistivitas hasil survei geolistrik dengan mengasumsikan lubang sintetik pada tiap elektroda interval 20m dari 13 line geolistrik. Estimasi sumberdaya menggunakan interpolasi Inverse distance weighted dengan masing-masing power, keakuratan parameter power akan dibandingkan menggunakan Cross Validation dan akan menghasilkan nilai Root Mean Square Error (RMSE) serta grafik dari tiap parameter. Parameter power dengan Nilai RMSE terkecil dipilih sebagai yang terbaik. Adapun data-data tersebut kemudian diolah menggunakan software pertambangan untuk mendapatkan hasil sumberdaya. Berdasarkan estimasi sumberdaya hasil parameter Root Mean Square Error (RMSE) terbaik menggunakan metode Inverse distance weighted didapatkan volume Topsoil menggunakan IDW power 2 sebesar 55.469 m3 , untuk Andesit Lapuk menggunakan power 3 dengan total volume 234.639 m3 , sedangkan Andesit Fresh menggunakan power 3 dengan jumlah tonase 810.416 ton berdasarkan Spesific Gravity batuan andesit Fresh sebesar 2,7 ton/m3.
