SAINTIFIKA: Jurnal Ilmu Pendidikan MIPA dan MIPA publishes a scientific paper on the results of the study and review of the literature in the sphere of natural science education in primary education, secondary education and higher education. Additionally, this journal also covers the issues on environmental education. SAINTIFIKA: Jurnal Ilmu Pendidikan MIPA dan MIPA is issued two times annually, i.e. Juny and December. The number of articles is 7 articles per year. Abstract

Bahan alloy NiFe merupakan salah satu bahan feromagnetik yang memilki tekstur kuat dengan nilai anisotropi magnetik dan medan koersivitas besar. Kurva histerisis bahan NiFe ini menghasilkan medan koersivitas yang besar dalam golongan hard magnet. Penelitian ini mengkaji pengaruh dari microwave assisted pada kurva histerisis bahan NiFe dalam bentuk ellipsoid. Pengaruh microwave assisted membantu untuk mengecilkan medan koersivitas sehingga mengalami pembalikan magnetisasi semakin cepat untuk kembali pada posisi awal. Hasil simulasi pada ukuran 50 nm struktur multi domain dengan memberikan frekuensi 20 GHz dan amplitudo 100 mT diperoleh medan koersivitas sebesar 80 mT sedangkan pada frekuensi 200 GHz dan amplitudo 1000 mT diperoleh medan koersivitas sebesar 55 mT. Pengaruh dari microwave assisted yang dipengaruhi terjadi perubahan medan koersivitas yang semakin kecil.

Abstract

Pembelajaran Biologi saat ini ditekankan pada pendekatan kontekstual dan konstruktivisme dimana bukan saja pengetahuan yang mereka peroleh namun bagaimana mereka dapat menyikapi dan menerapkan apa yang telah mereka pelajari. Berdasarkan hasil observasi bahwa proses pembelajaran mata pelajaran Biologi seringkali dilakukan secara presentasi secara monoton dan belajar mandiri sehingga siswa kurang tertarik dan cenderung tidak memperhatikan. Siswa dituntut menggunakan lembar kegiatan siswa (LKS) yang kurang terarah dan kurang sesuai dengan kompetensi inti (KI) dan kompetensi dasar (KD) yang ditetapkan. Upaya pemecahan masalah yang dihadapi adalah dengan adanya inovasi bentuk lembar kegiatan siswa yang dirancang secara khusus berdasarkan KI dan KD serta karakteristik siswa dan kebutuhan sekolah. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah menghasilkan lembar kegiatan siswa yang layak dan valid yang sesuai dengan KI dan KD. Metode penelitian yang digunakan sesuai dengan model pengembangan Thiagarajan dengan empat tahap yakni define, design, develop, dan disseminate namun dalam penelitian ini hanya dilakukan sampai tahap develop saja. Objek penelitian adalah siswa kelas XI SMAN 9 Malang. Hasil penelitian ini diperoleh bahwa hasil penilaian validator menunjukkan kriteria valid dan layak untuk dipergunakan.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe the profile of algebraic thinking in junior high school students in solving mathematical problems in terms of cognitive style (reflective and impulsive). The subjects used were class VIII B Arjasa 1 Junior High School as many as 25 children. Data collection in this study used two test questions, namely the MFFT test (Matching Familiar Figure Test), algebra test and interviews with four students representing different cognitive styles (reflective and impulsive) . In this study students who have reflective cognitive style and students who have impulsive cognitive style can fulfill five indicators of algebraic thinking, namely generalization, abstraction, analytical thinking, dynamic thinking, and modeling.

Abstract

Ethnomatematics is the practice or daily activities of a society that has become a culture and there is the application of basic mathematical concepts. The purpose of this research is to describe ethnomatematics on the activities of hatching process of semi-natural green turtle eggs in Sukamade, Meru Betiri National Park to make teaching materials for students in the form of test questions and calculate the fractal dimensions on sand used for hatching the eggs of green turtle. This type of research is qualitative research with an ethnographic approach. The data collection methods used are observation and interviews. The research subjects were the UPKP (Turtle Conservation Management Unit), MMP (Gamekeeper Partner Community) and Facilitators. This study focuses on the activities to calculate, measure, and design. The mathematical concepts that arise are arithmetic operations, value comparisons, arithmetic series and geometric shapes. Fractal dimension calculations on natural and semi-natural sand in the process of hatching green turtle eggs with MATLAB aid program obtained the fractal dimensions on natural sand was 1.7252 and on semi-natural sand was 1.7273.

Abstract

Penerapan tugas peta konsep pada Project-Based Learning (PjBL) perlu diterapkan pada Mata kuliah sumber belajar dan media pembelajaran (SBMP) karena MK SBMP mempunyai tujuan akhir agar mahasiswa dapat ‘memahami’ dan ‘membuat’ produk pembelajaran. Hasil observasi mendukung karena mahasiswa cenderung lebih aktif belajar ketika dihadapkan pada permasalahan dan kerja kelompok. Penerapan tugas peta konsep pada PjBL diharapkan dapat meningkatkan rerata pemahaman konsep, motivasi, dan ketrampilan membuat produk. Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) ini dilaksanakan sebanyak tiga siklus, enam kali pertemuan secara Lesson Study (LS) di kelas C Pendidikan Biologi UMM tahun 2013. Data hasil penelitian dianalisis dengan rerata dan persentase. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan tugas peta konsep dalam PjBL meningkatkan rerata pemahaman kognitif mahasiswa sebesar 2,12% dari siklus I ke siklus III. Rerata motivasi meningkat sebesar 1,8% dari siklus I ke siklus III. Rerata nilai ketrampilan membuat produk meningkat sebesar 1,82% dari siklus I ke siklus II, meski mengalami penurunan 0,5% dari siklus II ke siklus III.

Abstract

Education is a learning activity that determines the success of achieving student learning outcomes in class. So, to achieve learning objectives by increasing student learning outcomes, it is necessary to have a good and correct learning process with the help of facilities, good learning methods. This study aims to determine whether the development of an interactive e-module based on kvisoft flipbook with the discovery learning model on arthropod material affects student learning outcomes in class X SMA 15 N Pekanbaru. The type of research used is Research & Development research through the ADDIE approach (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation). The e-module was validated by 5 validators by Riau University lecturers and teachers at SMA N 15 Pekanbaru. The results showed that the quality of the kvisoft flipbook-based interactive e-module with the discovery learning model was very good. the e-module validation results are 3.52 in the very valid category, and the practicality test results are 87.22 in the very practical category

Abstract

The study was aimd to develop a valid, practical, and effective E-Module based on Adobe flash. This research was development research. Data collection techniques used questionnaire analysis, pre-test/post-test, student response questionnaire, and validation from the experts. The design of the research is development E-module based on Adobe Flash media using a 4-D model (Define, Design, Develop, Disseminate) that developed by Thiagarajan (1974). The results indicated that the level of validity of developed E-Module based on Adobe Flash was 82.54%, 83.89% , 79.58%, based on experts of subject, media and media development respectively, while developed media validity according to teacher as user was 88,93%, practical was 91,11%, effective was 0,72.

Abstract

The Covid 19 pandemic has caught the attention of many parties, especially in the education sector. Teachers must always innovate in developing media for the implementation of the distance learning process. One of the media that can be used is a web blog. A web blog is an alternative media that is easy for teachers to make and easy for students to use. Students who are the research subjects are XI grade and XII grade with a classroom action research model. From the results obtained, it appears that students can make good in using of the media, as evidenced by the 100% complete assignment of students even though in daily tests the completeness of the students is less than 50%. This is because students are not familiar with the AKM questions model

Abstract

Ujian Nasional adalah sistem penilaian umumnya dianggap sebagai beban bagi siswa, dan begitu juga orang tua dan guru karena mereka merasa begitu khawatir jika mereka tidak bisa lulus ujian atau mendapatkan nilai buruk dalam beberapa kasus. Hasil Ujian Nasional 2013 di SMAN Darussholah Singojuruh menegaskan bahwa sekitar 40% dari siswa yang mendapat skor 5,5 - 6,0. Dengan demikian, komite SMAN Darussholah Singojuruh, sebagai wakil orang tua mereka diminta untuk memiliki belajar tambahan di sekolah dalam bentuk bimbingan belajar yang didukung oleh salah satu Pusat Kursus untuk meningkatkan kualitas kelulusan. Oleh karena itu, tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis kesiapan siswa dalam menghadapi Ujian Nasional 2014. Selain itu, penelitian ini dilakukan untuk semua siswa kelas 3 SMAN Darussholah Singojuruh di tahun akademik 2013/2014 dari. Ada 194 siswa yang terdiri dari 3 kelas sains (93 siswa) dan 3 kelas sosial. Belajar atau kursus tambahan pusat telah diberikan setelah sekolah selama sekitar 90 menit dengan menargetkan semacam pelajaran Ujian Nasional. Data dari simulasi ujian nasional digunakan sebagai indikator 'kelulusan mencerminkan siswa siswa kesiapan akademis dalam menghadapi ujian. Hasil pengamatan selama menjalankan simulasi didukung oleh kuesioner untuk menunjukkan kesiapan siswa dalam menghadapi itu secara psikologis. Berdasarkan hasil analisis, data dari skor simulasi menunjukkan bahwa jumlah siswa yang mencapai lebih dari 6,0 dari kedua kelas ilmu pengetahuan dan kelas sosial lebih dari 90%. Selain itu, hasil pengamatan selama simulasi dikonfirmasi tingkat independen sekitar 95%. Hasil analisis kuesioner menunjukkan bahwa siswa SMAN Darussholah Singojuruh secara psikologis siap dalam menghadapi Ujian Nasional 2014. Ini menegaskan bahwa siswa yang secara akademis dan psikologis siap, bahkan lebih, mereka dianggap sangat siap untuk menghadapi ujian.

Abstract

Giving mycorrhiza + MHB with goat manure to cocoa seeds to increase cocoa growth. The purpose of this study was to examine the effect of mycorrhiza + MHB combination with goat manure on cocoa seed growth (Theobroma cacao L.). This research used Factorial Randomized Complete Random Design (RAL) with two factors ie first factor of mycorrhizal + MHB with three levels of 0 g (m0), 7.5 g (m1), and 12.5 g (m2), the second factor goat manure with three taragos 0 g (k0), 100 g (k1), and 200 g (m2), and combination factors m0k0, m0k1, m0k2, m1k1, m1k2, m2k2, m2k0, m2k1, and m2k2 . The data obtained were analyzed using Anova and Duncan's advanced test. From the results of this study can be concluded that giving mycorrhiza + MHB with goat manure significantly influence the growth of cocoa seedlings (Theobroma cacao L.). Treatment with 7.5 g of mycorrhiza + MHB with 200 g of goat manure showed the best results on the growth of cocoa seeds compared with other treatments
