Abstract

Cooperative learning is a learning model that involves students to be able to actively participate in the learning process through the formation of small groups. One type of cooperative learning model is the Student Team Achievement Division (STAD) type. This study aimed to determine the effect of the STAD type cooperative learning model on physics learning outcomes of grade X students at SMK 5 Jember. This research is included in experimental research. The research design used was a post test only design. Data analysis technique used independent sample t-test (parametric test) and one way anova. The results showed that the significant value of the independent sample t-test was 0,000 (α<0,05) which means that the average physics scores of the experimental class students were greater than control class students. Thus, the STAD type cooperative learning model has a significant effect on learning outcomes in physics at SMK 5 Jember.

Abstract

In an accuracy required to solve problems. One way to help students achieve the accuracy that is by directing students on analytical anticipation. The purpose of this study was to look at the characteristics of analytic anticipation of students in solving integrals. This study, data were collected by the method of tests and interviews. Test form about the area polynomial of degree two. Interviews were conducted to class XII student who has received the integral material. Results of this study are (1) the students read about the more than 1 times, (2) students find things that are known and things that asked, (3) students to describe matter in detail, (4) students combine kritria-criteria which are known in the matter, (5) students can find the link between things that are asked and things are known, (6) the students do the problems carefully, and (7) the students consider other alternative answers.

Abstract

Teaching and learning strategies with the jigsaw cooperative model, namely the teaching and learning process consisting of several students who are members of a group who are responsible for mastering the material being taught in the hope of transmitting it to other students / friends who are still in the group. The purpose of this study is to Improving the learning outcomes of Human Motion System Material for Class VIII G students of SMP Negeri 6 Jember using the jigsaw cooperative learning strategy. This research method uses a qualitative approach, this type of research is a type of classroom action research (PTK). Class action in this study was carried out with 2 cycles. Each cycle carried out the improvements to be achieved through the reflection stage. The results showed that by taking research subjects at SMP Negeri 6 Jember class VIII G. From the results of the test results of teaching and learning in cycle 1 obtained results with an average of 65.53% while in cycle 2 an average of 74.47%

Abstract

Pewarnaan sisi dinamis suatu graf didefinisikan sebagai pemetaan dari ke himpunan warna sedemikian hingga memenuhi kondisi dan dimana adalah himpunan sisi yang bertetangga dengan dan adalah derajat titik . Nilai yang minimal sehingga graf memenuhi pewarnaan warna sisi dinamis disebut bilangan kromatik sisi dinamis, yang dinotasikan dengan Penelitian ini, peneliti menentukan bilangan kromatik pada graf hasil operasi amalgamasi titik dari keluarga graf pohon yaitu graf bintang dan graf sapu menggunakan metode deduktif aksiomatik. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah teorema yang menyatakan bilangan kromatik pewarnaan sisi dinamis. Terdapat tiga teorema yang dihasilkan dari graf yang diteliti serta setiap tahap dalam penelitian ini dikaitkan dengan keterampilan berpikir tingkat tinggi.

Abstract

Ujian nasional (UN) merupakan alat evaluasi untuk mengetahui kemampuan kognitif siswa di seluruh Indonesia, mulai jenjang sekolah dasar hingga sekolah menengah atas dan sederajat. Ujian nasional adalah program evaluasi tingkat nasional yang memiliki standar penilaian bertaraf nasional. Sebelum digunakan, butir-butir soal tes ujian nasional harus memenuhi syarat sebagai alat evaluasi yang berkualitas, baik dari segi substansi, konstruksi, maupun bahasa. Salah satu cara menganalisis kualitas butir soal dapat dilakukan dengan mencocokkan butir-butir soal UN dengan pedoman penulisan butir soal dari Depdiknas, analisis ini disebut dengan analitis teoritis atau kualitatif. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif. Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk mengetahui kualitas penulisan butir soal UN Biologi Utama Tahun 2014/2015. Sampel diperoleh dari 2 paket soal UN Biologi Rayon Purwokerto, Jawa Tengah dengan masing-masing paket terdiri dari 40 butir soal. Hasil analisis butir soal Ujian Nasional Biologi Utama Tahun 2014/ 2015 pada paket A dan B adalah terdapat 12 soal (30%) dari 40 soal pada paket A dan 10 soal (25%) dari 40 soal pada paket B yang memiliki kesalahan dalam penulisan butir soal. Kesalahan tersebut meliputi: pokok soal yang tidak dirumuskan secara jelas dan tegas, terdapat penulisan pokok soal dan pilihan jawaban yang bukan merupakan pernyataan yang diperlukan saja, terdapat pilihan jawaban yang tidak homogen, panjang alternatif atau pilihan jawaban tidak sama, pokok soal yang memberi petunjuk atau mengarah kepada pilihan jawaban yang benar, pilihan jawaban dalam bentuk angka/ waktu yang tidak diurutkan, terdapat jawaban yang tidak logis dan pengecohnya tidak berfungsi, terdapat rumusan kalimat yang tidak komunikatif, terdapat kalimat yang tidak menggunakan bahasa yang baik dan benar, dan terdapat rumusan kalimat yang menimbulkan penafsiran ganda.

Abstract

Azotobacter is one group of aerobic bacteria that colonizes root surfaces and is able to produce glyceroline promoting substances, cytokines and Indole Acetate Acid (IAA). Azotobacter can be found in the rhizosphere of various types of plants, such as soy rhizosphere (Glycinemax L.), rhizosphere palm (Elaeis guineensis), coffee (Coffea arabica), and corn (Zea mays). Rhizosphere is a soil zone that surrounds the roots of plants where biology and soil chemistry are affected by roots. This zone has a width of about 1 mm. In this study rhizosphere used is rhizosphere coffea Robusta plant. The purpose of this research is to know the isolated Azotobacter isolate from the rhiszosphere of Robusta coffee plant which attacked by Pratylenchus coffeae parasite parasite from Kalibendo plantation, Banyuwangi. The type of research used is explorative research. In this research successfully obtained 5 bacterial isolates. The result showed that from isolate isolate, 4 isolates were genus Azotobacter while 1 isolate was not known.

Abstract

The ability of mathematical representation is very important to solve mathematical problems, because every solution must use mathematical representation. This research was conducted at Thailand's Streesmutprakan School because according to the results of the 2015 PISA test, mathematical representation skills also affected the execution of the PISA test. The PISA test results in 2015 showed that the Mathematics ability of Thai students was ranked 54th out of 70 countries with an average score of 415. While the average score for Mathematics from all countries taking the PISA test was 490. The results showed that Thailand was still in in a position below the average. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative, by giving PISA questions about shape and space content. The results of this study indicate that students with high abilities are superior in visual mathematical representation. This can be seen from the number of cube nets that can be drawn with different models. The indicator of mathematical expression is only one of six students who can meet the indicator and answer correctly. For indicators of the ability to represent in words or written texts, students with high abilities are also more prominent because they have a reason for each answer, whereas for students with medium and low abilities only guess even silence during interviews.

Abstract

Sungai Badeg merupakan salah satu sungai kecil di kota Malang yang tercemar limbah pabrik kulit. Hasil pengukuran kualitas pada sampel air sungai Badeg menunjukkan kondisi yang tidak memenuhi baku mutu air yaitu TSS sebesar 400 ppm, BOD sebesar 331 mg/L, COD sebesar 544 mg/L, DO sebesar 3,6 mg/L dan kadar lemak sebesar 280 mg/L. Lemak merupakan salah satu bahan organik yang sulit untuk diuraikan secara alamiah. Biodegradasi diharapkan dapat menjadi solusi perbaikan kondisi perairan dengan cara memanfaatkan aktivitas bakteri indigen dengan karakteristik pendegradasi lemak. Kegiatan biodegradasi dilakukan dengan cara mengintroduksi bakteri indigen (yang telah diseleksi dari proses isolasi dan memiliki potensi pendegradasi paling tinggi diantara jenis isolat lain yang ditemukan) kemudian dikultur dan diinokulasikan kembali pada sampel air sehingga proses transformasi akan berlangsung lebih optimal. Biodegradasi dilakukan secara in vitro, dan menunjukkan perubahan yang signifikan terhadap perubahan kadar TSS menjadi 293,3 ppm, BOD sebesar 117,3 mg/L, COD sebesar 165,3 mg/L, DO sebesar 19 mg/L dan kadar lemak sebesar 0,02 mg/L. Biodegradasi dengan memanfaatkan bakteri indigen dapat menjadi alternatif dalam memperbaiki kualitas perairan.

Abstract

In indonesia, infection diseases are a very high problem among the public, one the common infectious diseases suffered by the Indonesian community is imflamtion of the tonsils caused by Streptococcus pyogenesis and Cholera caused by Vibrio cholera. The use of chemical antibiotics will have a negative impact in health, so necessary alternative replecement of natural antibiotics by Serratia mercescens can pruduce prodigiosin. This reseacrh was to test the potential of Serratia mercescens antagonist against Streptococcus phyogenesis and Vibrio cholera in vitro, using Completely Randomized Design with one treatment factor from Serratia mercescens bacteria concentration. The concentration used was 30μm for each bacterial suspension and added positive control in the form of chloramphenicol and negative control of aquades, each of which was repeated 3 repititions. The results were analyzed using one-way ANOVA and continued D- test. The result showed that Serratia mercescens had blocked inhibitability of Streptococcus phyogenesis bacteria with an average resistance of1.1033mm and on Vibrio cholera with an average resistance of 1.2233mm.

Abstract

Infectious diseases caused by animal vectors are currently still a health problem in the world even in Indonesia, especially the Aedes aegypti mosquito which is the vector for the spread of dengue fever. Chemical control is still a priority for the community, such as the use of abate. Continuous use of abate can cause resistance to the Aedes aegypti mosquito to the next generation and pollute water conditions. One of the control solutions can be done with natural insecticides such as amethyst fruit (Datura metel L.). The purpose of making purified extracts is to remove unnecessary impurities and get a larger content of active compounds and increase the concentration of active compounds. The concentration of amethyst extract (Datura metel L.) used was a concentration of 100 ppm, 500 ppm, 1000 ppm, 1500 ppm, 1gr abate as a positive control and aquades as a negative control. The amount of Lethal Concentration-50 (LC50) purified extract of amethyst fruit (Datura metel L.) with n-hexane was 494.987 ppm. The active compound content of amethyst fruit (Datura metel L.) in the n-hexane fraction after a phytochemical screening test was carried out was positive for alkaloids, steroids, terpenoids and tannins. The toxicity of the purified extract with n-hexane of amethyst (Datura metel L.) against Aedes aegypti mosquito larvae within 24 hours is considered toxic because it has an LC50 value of less than 1000 ppm.
