Abstract

A case-control study was applied to improve if there is a relation between endogenous opioid dynorhpin (Dyn) and its receptor KOR with serum interleukin-6 (IL-6) and interleukin-10 (IL-10) among MDD patients versus a group of apparently healthy subjects.  The study included 60 depressed pretreatment male patients and 30 (age and gender matched) controls. The serum Dyn, KOR, IL-6 and IL-10 levels were measured and the relation between these factors was obtained in addition to comparison of these factors between MDD patients and control group. Each parameter was determined by using ELISA technique. The comparison between both groups indicated a significance increase (p<0.05) in Dyn, IL-6 and IL-10 in MDD group comparing with controls. Whereas KOR didn’t show any significant difference. The correlation results indicated that there was no correlation between the two systems (endogenous opioid and immune systems). The conclusion of the study is that there was no relation between Dyn/KOR with inflammatory marker IL-6 and IL-10. This finding indicates that there is no effect of endogenous dyn on the immune function.

Abstract

Introduction Caesarean section is usually limited to factors that vaginal delivery is not possible or associated with the serious risks to the fetus and mother. So, it is expected a few specific indications forces are an delivery, and the rates do not exceed certain limits. But in our country today, the cesarean rate is reported to be more than acceptable. The aim of this study was to evaluate the social, cultural and demographic factors associated with the choice of delivery method. Methods the population of pregnant women was in cities and villages around Uremia city and the intended sample sizewas299 for pregnant women of which171wereurbanand 128 were rural. Sampling was in classification. Using question naire, data was collected and data was analyzed by SPSS software and logistic regression and Pearson Chi-Square. Results Inferential multi variate statistics and findings indica tea significant association between maternal education and the mother's age and father's occupation and child birth with choosing cesarean, but there was no significant relationship between the place of residence (urbanorrural), father's education, mother's occupation, father's occupation, father's age, wanted and unwanted babies and sex with choosing cesarean. The variables, maternal education, maternal age and rating childbirth were entered. According to the importance of place of residence variable its correlation with mode of delivery was confirmed using the Chi-square test. Conclusion Maternal education, maternal age, parental occupation, rating childbirth andplace of residence (urbanorrural) variables was the most important factors in choosing cesarean section. Abstract

The training for athletes in the basketball sports must have the excellent biomotor skills, especially in the components of the strength of the arm muscle to be able to do the passing and shooting with the maximum movement. The basketball game uses three main elements namely passing and catching, dribling, and shooting. Until now, the training technique in order to maximize the function of the arm muscle is carried out by loading sand in the body weighing 0.5 kg. This training technique is felt to be uncomfortable when moving, thus another technique is needed to perfect it, namely the training with the medicine ball. This research is a quasi-experimental study using the randomized pre and posttest control group design. The results show that the comparison of athlete's arm muscle strength levels using the conventional training technique with the medicine ball in a row, with the result of 21.45 : 42.3, i.e., there is an increase in the strength of the arm muscle by 49.29% in the medicine ball training. The training by using the medicine ball is an exercise plan using a 1.7-kg medicine ball which can improve the conventional training method.

Abstract

The effects of dissolving zinc phthalocyanine (ZnPc) in two solvents, (N, N-dimethylformamide (DMF)/water, dimethylsulphoxide (DMSO)/water, tetrahydrofuran (THF)/water), on the absorption spectra and infrared spectra were studied using (UV–Vis) spectroscopy and FTIR spectrophotometer. Solvents affected on the photochemical and photophysical properties of ZnPc complexes. The noticed trend inside the difference of Q-band position with solvent was occasionally attributed to solvent parameters comprising aromaticity, arrange power, polarity, and refractive index. UV-V spectra analysis showed non-proof of aggregation in sol as a display throught great unperturbed phthelocyanine Q band. zinc phthalocyanine emerge absorption spectra with duo essential band electron the Q band with a generality (685, 675 and 680) nm separately as well as Soret B band with an extreme of (340, 340 and 350) nm separately. Farthest potential aggregation included method is such the H-aggregation because of rise shift energy of absorption spectrum as well as provided information via the potential electrostatic allocation onto molecule zinc phthalocyanine . FTIR results showed that elevate include peaks belongs to ZnPc with the alteration in the present of the two solvent furthermore little shift toward low energy existed.
