Abstract

Research has been conducted on using hyacinth biogas (Eichornia crossipes) and goat dung (faeces) as alternative energy sources. This research aims to design reactors, measure temperature, measure pH, conduct flame tests. This study shows that the temperature, pH, and composition of material comparison greatly influence the formation of biogas. The ratio of hyacinth mass and water used is 1.1, 1:2, and 1:3 with each ratio given goat dung as much as 400 grams. All treatments produce a gas that can ignite. Heat produced is between 12.75 calories to 16.6 calories.

Abstract

Kadubeureum Village is one of the villages located in Padarincang, Serang Regency, Banten Province. Kadubeureum village has 976,235 ha with a rice field area of 362,432 ha or about 37.16% of the existing area. So, this area is one of the agricultural sector areas in Padarincang Subdistrict. Irrigation in the rice fields in Kadubeurem Village is divided into 2 types of irrigation: rice fields that use irrigation from irrigation sourced from springs and rivers, and rice fields that still rely on rain (rice fields that have rain). This rain-fed rice field area is caused by rice fields above the river stream and are not watered from irrigation. So that the level of harvest productivity in the rain-affected rice fields is relatively lower than the area of rice fields that are irrigated. This becomes a problem for farmers whose rice fields include rice fields that have rain due to the location of the rice fields that are above the river flow. Seeing the above, it is necessary to apply appropriate technology for innovative in overcoming problems in farmers groups with the application of appropriate technology, namely with the application of hydrant pumps that are economical, efficient and effective so that the problem of water shortage in rice fields can be resolved.

Abstract

Internship preparation activities to Japan are one of the activities of SMK PK (Center of Excellence) approved by the Ministry of Education, through the SMK PK budget. For Vocational High School (SMK) students, the internship program to Japan is an opportunity to improve work skills and get to know advanced culture and technology. However, students' readiness to face the challenges of this international internship is still a major obstacle. This article discusses the importance of a holistic approach in optimizing the preparation of SMK students for internships in Japan, which involves mastery of Japanese, understanding work culture, developing technical and non-technical skills, and physical and mental training. This holistic approach combines various aspects of education and self-development as a whole, so that students can adapt more easily and succeed in the internship program. In addition, collaboration between SMK, companies, and related institutions is needed to ensure effective implementation. Thus, this approach is expected to be able to create students who are ready to face global challenges and have superior competencies
