<![CDATA[Gorontalo placed on 7th province with the highest diabetes mellitus sufferers from in Indonesia. One of the areas in the city of Gorontalo that has quite a high number of Diabetes Mellitus sufferers is the Dungingi sub-district with a total of 62 people over the last 3 months. 70% of DM sufferers who come to the Community Health Center for examination have uncontrolled blood sugar because the patient does not carry out proper self care rules, whether in diet, physical activity, stress management and controlling blood sugar. Therefore, this community service activity is expected to be able to increase the knowledge, skills and abilities of diabetes mellitus patients in carrying out self-care so that the quality of life of Diabetes Mellitus sufferers in the Dungingi Region can improve. This community service programme aims to empower peer group support of diabetes patient to increase the motivation of DM patients to carry out self-care management. Apart from involving patients, health cadres are also trained as peer group facilitators so that the sustainability of this activity in the community can be guaranteed. This Community Service begins with socialization and formation of peer groups, peer group activity sessions, and evaluation. From the results of this activity, it was found that there was improvement in self-care abilities in patients with an average increase of 8 scores with a pretest score of 18 and a posttest score of 27.8. It was also found that there was a decrease in blood glucose levels with average pretest value 295 mg/dL and posttest value 210 mg/dL]]>

<![CDATA[Patalagan is a village in Pancalang subdistrict, Kuningan. Almost all village residents work as farmers. The large potential of human resources is the main capital for this village to carry out empowerment activities, especially for housewives. One type of empowerment is making products that are very useful for supporting health and preventing disease, especially in this post-COVID era, namely hand sanitizers. This product can be made from simple chemicals. The composition can also be combined with herbal plants, for example Aloe vera which has various pharmacological activities, namely antibacterial, antifungal and antiviral. This plant is often found in Patalagan village, so it can be used to make aloe vera-based hand sanitizer (HANDSLIB). The aim of this service is to increase village residents' awareness of the health benefits of hand sanitizer and aloe vera and improve the skills of mothers in making hand sanitizer. The method used was education about the health benefits of handsanitizer and aloe vera for health and training in making HANDSLIB. The training activity was carried out on 04 February 2024 offline at the house of one of the residents of Patalagan village. Training and counseling was carried out with 12 participants. The results of the evaluation of hand sanitizer training activities showed that the mothers were skilled at making hand sanitizer made from aloe vera (Handslib)]]>

<![CDATA[Patalagan Village has various types of plants that are diverse and efficacious and can be used as home preparations that can be utilized as a source of food production and so on and can also be marketed to various regions. One of the superior potentials that can be utilized by the community as a source of income is oyster mushrooms. The purpose of this community service is to increase the knowledge of Patalagan Village residents regarding the benefits of oyster mushrooms and improve the skills of housewives in making nuggets from oyster mushrooms. The materials used are oyster mushrooms, while the methods used are socialization and counseling as well as training in making N-mushroom nuggets and product making demonstrations carried out by PKK women in Patalagan Village. The result of this training was that the participants became trained in making N-mushroom nuggets. This can be seen from the products produced by participants with good results in terms of appearance. The conclusion is that there is an increase in villagers' knowledge of the benefits of oyster mushrooms as can be seen from the results of the pretest and posttest activities given to participants where there is an increase in scores before and after the counseling and the PKK women of Patalagan Village are skilled in making "N-mushroom nuggets" products which can be seen from the quality of the products produced.]]>

<![CDATA[This workshop aims to develop understanding and skills in mitigating flood disasters through the use of an Android-based information system in Palembang City. With the increasing frequency and intensity of flooding in this city, innovative and effective solutions are needed to reduce the negative impacts caused. The methods used in this workshop include theoretical learning about flood disaster mitigation, development of an Android-based information system, as well as case studies of the implementation of similar technology in flood disaster management in other areas. Participants in this workshop were 100 (one hundred) students representing universities in the city of Palembang, involved in direct practice sessions to design, develop and test a prototype of an Android-based information system that could be used in flood disaster situations. The results of this community service are to increase understanding of the importance of technology in disaster mitigation, as well as skills in designing and using Android-based applications to assist the flood disaster mitigation process in Palembang City.]]>

<![CDATA[Increasing the number of accidents every year in Indonesia has forced the government to make efforts to reduce the number of accidents that result in the loss of someone's life. The government, by using the Safety Riding method in driving on the highway, hopes to reduce the number of accidents that occur in the community by paying attention to completeness and safety in traffic on the highway. As for the problems that arise, how is Safety Riding implemented in rescue efforts in society? The aim of community service is through socialization carried out by the community, especially the younger generation, to be able to have awareness of driving on the highway by remembering the importance of safety for themselves and others as well as feeling safe and comfortable when driving. The use of Safety Riding cannot be separated from the role of the Government, Companies and the community in forming synergy in efforts to save traffic. The implementation of Safety Riding is present in society to prevent the number of accidents so that UULLAJ is implemented as a suggestion for legal protection in society.]]>

<![CDATA[Development of E-Book Media based on the Book Creator Application is designed taking into account the needs of teachers and students. This media was developed to provide learning resources for Indonesian language subjects in Class III of SD N 1 Pomah. E-book media was developed in the Book Creator application with Narrative Text material. This research aims to: (1) develop e-book media based on the Book Creator Application, (2) test the feasibility of e-book media based on the Book Creator Application. This research uses the Borg and Gall model with five research steps, namely; potential and problems, data/information collection, product design, design validation, design revision. E-book media is designed using the Canva application, which accesses the media using a link connected to the internet. The results of the e-book media feasibility test that have been tested by media experts and material experts get the "very decent" category. Therefore, e-book media assisted by book creators is worthy of the Narrative text material in Class III SD N 1 Pomah.]]>

<![CDATA[Facing the challenges of the Industry 4.0 era requires significant effort to remain competitive. To develop a resilient generation capable of tackling these challenges, skills and creativity are essential. The community service activities (abdimas) conducted by vocational higher education institutions are a form of academic community collaboration aimed at transferring knowledge and skills to the society. These abdimas activities are participated in by high school students during their vocational extracurricular sessions. The methods used in these abdimas include the provision of materials, training, and discussions. The materials and training focus on product creation and marketing. As a result of these abdimas, the high school students gain skills in creating marketplace seller accounts and managing food products. After participating in these abdimas, it is expected that the students will be able to start their own culinary businesses]]>

<![CDATA[Education in Indonesia has undergone several curriculum changes, the latest of which is the Merdeka Curriculum. Apart from the teaching modules, one of the differences between the independent curriculum and other curricula is the existence of the Pancasila Student Profile Strengthening Project or often referred to as P5. One of the P5 themes is entrepreneurship. The method used is a qualitative method with the aim of describing descriptive data related to the strategies used by school principals in building an entrepreneurial spirit through the Independent Curriculum Strengthening the Pancasila Student Profile (P5) Project. In implementing the P5 project, 3 stages are used, including: inspiration, creation and dedication. All stages ran smoothly and the P5 project activities with the entrepreneurship theme were also successfully held.]]>

<![CDATA[Managing medicines in the household is one of the important points for maintaining public health. The use of drugs must always fulfill the rationality aspect of treatment so that people get the positive benefits of drugs. Rational use of drugs can be done if the public has good knowledge. Alternative telepharmacy is expanding the reach of pharmacies, with the existence of an online media-based health information system. This community service activity aims to describe the results of community service activities which aim to increase public knowledge about telepharmacy as an effort to manage medicine at home properly and correctly. Community service is carried out by providing direct education through the focus group discussion (FGD) method with educational media in the form of leaflets to 21 posyandu cadres. The success of community service activities is evaluated by providing a pretest and posttest. The results of the activity survey show that the difference in partner scores before being given education was 33.3% and after being given education, namely 88.8%, and the community's satisfaction with this service activity. These results show an increase in public knowledge about telepharmacy after the disclosure of the material. Community service activities through providing education can increase public knowledge about the importance of telepharmacy services as community assistance in managing medicines well in the household.]]>

<![CDATA[The development of information technology today, a business can be integrated into all business activities from sales to customer relations into one system. Thus, all employees in various divisions of the company can report their activities in the system. The need for efforts to optimize the role of their information technology to run effectively and optimally. Prasetya Outdoor realizes the importance of maintaining service quality and optimizing business processes. Prasetya Outdoor intends to improve its competitiveness by adopting an Odoo-based ERP system with a focus on the rental module and website. Here are some of the methods used by the camping equipment rental at Prasetya outdoor: Online Booking, Physical On-site Rental, Rental Packages, and Customer Service. The obstacles that occur in the Prasetya Outdoor rental business are problems regarding marketing development and inventory management that are still not maximized. So the conclusion is that the entire system created can meet the needs of Prasetya Outdoor partners in terms of marketing and inventory management because the implementation of Odoo ERP in the Prasetya Outdoor rental business includes a rental module and an e-commerce website module. Hopefully in the future, the rental module and e-commerce website can be further expanded and optimized.]]>
