Abstract

This research aims to explore and analyze the learning evaluation methods used at the Bali Bina Insani Islamic Boarding School. This research used  qualitative research methods with field research, as well as data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of this research indicated that the Bali Bina Insani Islamic Boarding School applied several conventional evaluation systems that have been modified based on existing local conditions. First, Evaluation of Bahtsul Kutub (Muwajjahah) for developing critical thinking skills in understanding the book. Second, Evaluation of Amaliyah Worship Practices which emphasizes the element of spirituality in the form of worship practices. Third, oral examinations to evaluate students' memorization of religious and general knowledge. Fourth, written examinations that are relevant to the material previously taught to measure the students' abilities and comprehension. All assessment implementations are supported by a conducive learning environment, adequate facilities, and high integrity of educators, ensuring that the learning assessment process can run effectively and is able to improve the quality of students who are adept in a multicultural Islamic education environment.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of Tajweed learning on the ability to read the Quran among 8th-grade students at Al Karimah Islamic Junior High School in Bogor. The research method used is qualitative, involving 22 students as research subjects. Three chapters of the Quran, namely Al-Bayyinah, Al-Zalzalah, and Al-‘Adiyat, were used as test objects to evaluate reading ability, articulation points (Makharijul Huruf), and tajweed knowledge. The results showed that most students could read the three chapters well, with 16 students for Al-Bayyinah, 19 students for Al-Zalzalah, and 20 students for Al-‘Adiyat. In the aspect of articulation points, most students demonstrated good ability, with 18 students for Al-Bayyinah, 17 students for Al-Zalzalah, and 21 students for Al-‘Adiyat. Meanwhile, in tajweed knowledge, the results showed that the majority of students could answer tajweed questions well, with 18 students for Al-Bayyinah, 19 students for Al-Zalzalah, and 19 students for Al-‘Adiyat. Thus, tajweed learning has a positive impact on the Quran reading ability of 8th-grade students at Al Karimah Islamic Junior High School, showing significant improvement in the tested aspects.

Abstract

This study investigates how the Kuningan Pembangunan Islamic Boarding School effectively developed entrepreneurship among its students in 2022, from May to June. It delves into the background of the school, which houses various business units like food industry and services. Employing qualitative methods, the research engages leaders, entrepreneurship facilitators, educators, and students as subjects. Data collection encompasses observation, interviews, and documentation. The findings revealed meticulous planning as the backbone of entrepreneurial spirit cultivation at the school. Leaders, facilitators, educators, and students collaborate in planning, covering talent screening, class organization, scheduling, certification, and bazaar arrangements. Market Day emerged as a tangible manifestation of the entrepreneurship education program, offering both theoretical learning and practical engagement. Regular evaluations ensure students' active participation in learning and business management. The study emphasized the significance of such programs in nurturing competitive individuals who can contribute to societal and economic development. It also deepens the pivotal role of Islamic Boarding Schools in fostering entrepreneurial skills among students, offering insights valuable for designing effective entrepreneurship education programs in other educational institutions.

Abstract

The Qur'an was revealed to Prophet Muhammad SAW gradually as a guide to the path of the Apostle's da'wah in the cities of Mecca and Medina for 23 years. This article aims to find out the virtues of the Makiyah and Madaniyah verses in living with humans. From this article, researchers are intended to prove the wisdom of learning suras of the Qur'an, especially in the verses of Makiyah and Madaniyah. This research employed library research as the rsearch method. In conclusion, the primacy of the Makiyah and Madaniyya verses explains that the Makiyah verse was revealed in the city of Mecca for the purpose of punishment for the Meccans while the Madaniyya verse was revealed in the city of Medina as a legal explanation for the inhabitants of Medina. Besides that, The characteristics of the Makiyah and Madaniyah verses in Kitab al-Itqan fii ulumir Qur'an explain the geographical aspect based on the location of the verse.

Abstract

Islam's development in Indonesia has been shaped by both positive and negative influences. On the positive side, technology, modernization, and globalization have supported the spread and evolution of Islamic thought. However, challenges include the lasting impact of the Abbasid Dynasty's decline, psychological issues among Muslims, and the rise of religious identity politics. Overall, contemporary Islamic sects bring new perspectives, demonstrating how Islam adapts to modernity and is influenced by both local and global dynamics. (content analysis) Miles and Huberman models. The results found 3 things: First, the paradigm of Contemporary Islamic Sectss in Indonesia has 7 forms: Determinism Sects of thought, Liberalism Sects of thought, Contemporary Islamic Sects of thought, Fundamentalist Sects of thought, Modernism Sects of thought, extremism movement Sects, rational religious Sects Second, internally influencing Contemporary Islamic Sectss in Indonesia there are 3 factors positive influence and negative influence, influence of ijtihad ulama, influence of scientific epistemology As for externally influencing Contemporary Islamic Sects in Indonesia there are 3 factors The influence of capitalist economy, The influence of Islamisation, The influence of pragmatism Third, the positive implications of Contemporary Islamic Sectss in Indonesia. Islam's development in Indonesia has been shaped by both positive and negative influences. On the positive side, technology, modernization, and globalization have supported the spread and evolution of Islamic thought.
