Abstract

The development of digital technology has driven the transformation of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) learning to be more interactive and contextual. However, previous studies still show limitations, namely tending to be partial, focusing on the general effectiveness of digital media, and not comprehensively examining its impact on cognitive, affective, and psychomotor aspects in an integrated manner. Therefore, this study aims to analyze the use of digital media in supporting PAI learning outcomes, as well as identifying patterns and challenges in its implementation. This study uses a qualitative approach with a literature study type. Data were collected through searching scientific articles on Google Scholar and accredited journals for the period 2021–2025. Of the approximately 50 articles found, approximately 20 articles were selected based on criteria of relevance and methodological quality. Data analysis was conducted using content analysis techniques. The results of the study indicate that digital media contributes significantly to improving learning outcomes, especially in the cognitive aspect, while the affective and psychomotor aspects are contextual and depend on the learning design and the role of the teacher. The success of implementation is also influenced by the digital competence of educators, the availability of infrastructure, and institutional support. Thus, digital media is effective when pedagogically integrated into Islamic Religious Education (PAI) learning.

Abstract

Modern education tends to be pragmatic and material-oriented, neglecting the spiritual and moral dimensions. This study aims to examine the application of the concept of the adab (intention to learn) in the book Ta'lim Al-Muta'allim by Sheikh Burhanuddin Az-Zarnuji in the context of modern education. The method used is literature research with a qualitative approach, through descriptive-analytical analysis of the book Ta'lim Al-Muta'allim, books, and related scientific publications. The results show that the concept of intention to learn according to Az-Zarnuji serves as a spiritual, moral, and motivational foundation for seeking knowledge. A sincere intention oriented towards pleasing Allah, eliminating ignorance, and providing benefits can shape the character of students who are disciplined, responsible, and virtuous. In modern education, this concept remains relevant because it can strengthen intrinsic motivation, balance intellectual and character aspects, and provide solutions to spiritual crises. Thus, the integration of the adab (intention to learn) in modern educational practices is crucial for realizing a holistic and character-based education system.

Abstract

The Smart Indonesia Program (PIP) is a strategic policy to expand access to education for underprivileged students. This study aims to evaluate the implementation of PIP at SD Negeri 1 Ubung, West Nusa Tenggara (NTB), focusing on the input and process dimensions of the CIPP evaluation model. The input aspect emphasizes resource readiness and strategies, while the process aspect highlights the dynamics of implementation in the field. The research method used was descriptive qualitative, with data collected through in-depth interviews with the principal and school archive documentation, which were then analyzed descriptively to illustrate the reality of program implementation. The results of the input dimension indicate adequate operational readiness, supported by valid Dapodik DTKS data, a good understanding of regulations, and effective use of communication media for parents at SD Negeri 1 Ubung. However, in the process dimension, technical administrative obstacles occurred that resulted in delays in fund disbursement. The school addressed these obstacles through intensive administrative assistance and preventive supervision by the principal to ensure the funds were used appropriately. This study concludes that although the input aspect met standards, the success of PIP at SD Negeri 1 Ubung depends heavily on the school's ability to manage technical administrative obstacles during the implementation process.

Abstract

Canva was used to enhance high school biology learning in this study. Biology is abstract, making it difficult for students to understand, especially when taught with a boring approach. Therefore, interactive and innovative learning media are needed. Google Scholar was used to obtain and analyze scientific articles for this Systematic Literature Review (SLR). The search yielded 10 scientific articles on Canva-based learning media with empirical evidence. The results of this study indicate that the use of Canva-based learning media in high school biology learning consistently has a high level of validity and practicality, and is effective in improving student learning outcomes. Based on a synthesis of various studies, Canva has been shown to have a significant impact on improving cognitive learning outcomes (indicated by high N-gain values ​​and good learning outcomes), as well as strengthening affective aspects such as student motivation, creativity, and enthusiasm. The use of visual and audiovisual elements in Canva helps facilitate the understanding of abstract biological concepts, thus supporting more active, interactive, and student-centered learning. Therefore, the use of Canva as a high school biology learning medium can improve student learning outcomes.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) teachers in shaping students' religious character. This study uses a qualitative approach with library research. This descriptive study draws on various published works, including articles, books, undergraduate theses, and theses, selected for their relevance to the research, their level of scientific rigor, and their alignment with the theoretical framework. Islamic Religious Education (PAI) teachers play a crucial role in students' religious character. With this approach, we hope to obtain more useful information regarding the role of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) teachers in shaping students' religious character and inspiring more students to learn. The results of the literature review indicate that students' religious character is positively influenced by the role of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) teachers. If implemented, utilized, or further developed, theses will provide a foundation for educational institutions to optimize Islamic Religious Education (PAI) teachers' teaching methods. The findings of this literature review can encourage the creation of more inspiring learning models, thereby motivating students to continuously deepen religious values ​​in their daily lives.

Abstract

Cosmetics are a mixture of chemical compounds from natural and synthetic materials used for skin care. One of the widely used cosmetic products is sunscreen which functions to protect the skin from Ultraviolet (UV) radiation. Oxybenzone is an active ingredient commonly used as a UV absorber, but its use is limited by regulations due to potential side effects. This study aims to evaluate the levels of oxybenzone in commercial sunscreen lotions circulating in the modern market using the UV-Vis spectrophotometry method. The analysis was carried out at a maximum wavelength (λmax) of 288 nm with the standard curve method, after optimization of the operating time. Measurements were carried out in replication to ensure data validity. The study samples consisted of three commercial sunscreen lotion products widely circulating in the modern market. The results of the analysis showed that the average oxybenzone levels in sample A were 6.7 ± 0.0107%, sample B was 6.03 ± 0.0104%, and sample C was 2.34 ± 0.0060%. All samples remained below the maximum limit set by the Indonesian Food and Drug Monitoring Agency (BPOM), which is 10%. These results indicate that the tested products still meet the safety requirements for the active ingredient oxybenzone. These findings underscore the importance of regular cosmetic quality control to ensure regulatory compliance and consumer safety.

Abstract

This study conducts a literature review on the reconstruction of akhlakul karimah in the digital era, focusing on two main issues: the alignment between teacher guidance, school rules, and social media ethics, and the development of a digital akhlak portfolio for madrasah students as a creative expression of character education outcomes. Using a qualitative library research approach with content analysis, this study synthesizes relevant literature to build a theoretical framework. The findings indicate that successful character formation requires expanding the meaning of classical values into the digital realm, reforming school rules to explicitly regulate digital behavior, and the presence of teachers as role models in cyberspace. Furthermore, the digital akhlak portfolio concept positions social media as a platform for students to showcase creative works such as writing, visual arts, and videos that reflect internalized moral values. This portfolio serves as authentic documentation of character development, an evaluation tool, a creative da'wah medium, and a means of building the madrasah's positive reputation. The study contributes theoretically by integrating classical moral education theories with contemporary digital ethics and offers practical guidance for madrasahs to create a holistic educational ecosystem bridging the physical and digital worlds.

Abstract

Students' mathematical spatial abilities are still relatively low, especially in geometry. This study aims to analyze the effect of an immersive learning approach on students' mathematical spatial abilities. The study used a quasi-experimental design with a posttest-only control group design. The study population was all ninth-grade students of SMP Negeri 1 Mendoyo, with a sample selected using cluster random sampling technique, consisting of an experimental class and a control class. Data were collected through a mathematical spatial ability test and analyzed using descriptive statistics and an independent sample t-test. The results showed that the average mathematical spatial ability of students in the experimental class (88.59) was higher than that of the control class (61.41). Prerequisite tests showed that the data were normally distributed and homogeneous. The t-test results showed a significance value <0.05, indicating a significant difference between the two groups. Thus, the immersive learning approach proved effective in improving students' mathematical spatial abilities and had a significant effect, making it suitable for application as an alternative in mathematics learning in geometry.

Abstract

Systemic Lupus Erythematosus (SLE) is a chronic autoimmune disease that commonly affects women of reproductive age and is characterized by immune system dysregulation. Vitamin D acts as an immunomodulator that influences disease activity through the regulation of adaptive and innate immune responses. This study aims to analyze the relationship between patient characteristics and vitamin D levels and evaluate changes in levels after supplementation in SLE patients at the Jakarta Teaching Hospital. This study used a descriptive analytical design with a retrospective cross-sectional approach based on medical records of 55 patients from November 2024 to May 2025. The variables analyzed included age, gender, and 25(OH)D levels categorized as deficiency, insufficiency, and normal. The relationship analysis was performed using the Chi-Square test. The results showed that most patients were in the deficiency and insufficiency categories. There was a significant relationship between age and vitamin D levels (p=0.037) and between gender and vitamin D levels (p<0.033). A sub-analysis was also conducted on 7 of 55 patients who received 5,000 IU vitamin D3 supplementation for 30 days. This small group found an increase in 25(OH)D levels to within the normal range without signs of toxicity. It was concluded that vitamin D has potential as an adjuvant therapy in SLE patients.

Abstract

This study aims to examine in depth the implementation of the Pancasila Rahmatan Lil'alamin (P5RA) Student Profile Strengthening Project and its determining factors at MA Alkhairaat, Gorontalo City. The method used was a qualitative descriptive analytical approach with a case study design. Data were collected through participant observation, documentation, and in-depth interviews, then analyzed interactively through data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The results indicate that P5RA implementation is carried out systematically by integrating Pancasila values and religious moderation using Project-Based Learning (PjBL) methods and religious habituation, such as congregational Dhuha prayers. Concretely, this program has proven effective in transforming students' attitudes to be more tolerant, strengthening religious character, and increasing diversity awareness through heterogeneous group work. This study's contribution confirms that the success of P5RA is largely determined by the principal's transformational leadership and differentiated learning strategies in managing differences in student characteristics. Despite obstacles in facilities and pedagogical readiness, a humanistic-religious approach is key to the sustainability of value internalization in the madrasah.
