Al-Khazini: Journal of Physical Education is a peer-reviewed journal published twice a year (March and September) by the Department of Physical Education, Faculty of Tarbiyah and Teacher Training, Alauddin State Islamic University Makassar. Al-Khazini: Journal of Physics Education is an integrated forum to communicate the progress of science in the field of physics education. This journal reports significant new findings related to physics education; development of instructional media, development of learning methods, application of learning methods,and several applications of media in physics learning. Al-Khazini: Journal of Physical Education publishes comprehensive research articles and invites reviews from leading experts in their fields. Papers will be selected that have high scientific value, provide important new knowledge, and have high interest. Al-Khazini: The Indonesian Journal of Physics Education was only formed in 2021.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh sudut antara dua buah gaya terhadap besarnya resultan vektor gaya dengan pendekatan eksperimen menggunakan metode Praktikum Buku Resep. Praktikum dilakukan dengan variasi sudut antara gaya F1 dan F2 yaitu 30°, 45°, 60°, dan 90° dengan menggunakan peralatan sederhana seperti neraca pegas, katrol, dan busur derajat. Data gaya yang ditunjukkan oleh neraca dicatat untuk berbagai kombinasi gaya dan sudut. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa semakin besar sudut antara dua vektor gaya, maka resultan gaya yang dihasilkan semakin kecil. Hubungan antara sudut dengan besarnya vektor resultan menunjukkan pola yang semakin menurun seiring dengan bertambahnya sudut. Temuan ini mendukung teori vektor dalam fisika dan menunjukkan keefektifan metode praktikum buku resep dalam pembelajaran konsep vektor gaya.

Abstract

The cultural diversity of the Kaili tribe holds significant potential for ethnophysics research. However, ethnophysics studies within the Kaili tribe’s culture remain limited. This study aims to explore ethnophysics in the movements and props of the Pamonte dance of the Kaili tribe in Central Sulawesi. Data collection techniques used in this study include observation, interviews, and documentation. The research data were analyzed using the Miles and Huberman data analysis model, which consists of data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results of the study show that the Pamonte dance applies physical principles such as normal force, friction force, muscle force, thrust force, and Newton's laws. Additionally, concepts of potential energy, kinetic energy, velocity, and acceleration are evident in the dancers' body positions when bending, lifting, or walking according to the floor pattern. Concepts of torque, moment of inertia, pressure, translational motion, rotational motion, impulse, and momentum are also reflected through the dancers' movements and interactions with dance props such as toru.

Abstract

This study aims to design a Lesson Plan (RPP) based on Problem Based Learning (PBL) on the topic of elasticity and Hooke’s Law for Grade XI students of Senior High School/Madrasah Aliyah (SMA/MA). This research adopted a Research and Development (R&D) approach using the 4D development model, consisting of Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate stages. The lesson plan was designed by integrating five PBL syntax elements into the learning activities. Validation instruments included assessment sheets filled by five content experts and three media experts. The validation results showed that the RPP obtained an average score of 88.3% from content validators and 91.75% from media validators, both categorized as "very feasible." These findings indicate that the designed RPP is of high quality and can be used as an effective instructional tool to enhance students’ active engagement in problem-solving during physics learning.

Abstract

This study aims to compare the learning interest of students through the implementation of the PAKEM Learning Model Based on Fun Experiments and Video-Based in Class IX MTs Madani Alauddin Pao - Pao Makassar. This research is a quasi-experimental study with a Post-test-only Control Group Design. The population of this study was 191 students of Class IX MTs Madani Alauddin Pao - Pao Makassar who studied Science subjects, consisting of five classes. The research sample consisted of 66 individuals, namely Class IX D as experimental class 1 (PAKEM Based on Fun Experiments) and Class IX B as experimental class 2 (PAKEM Based on Video). The research instrument used was a learning interest test. The results of descriptive research show that the average value of learning interest of students taught using the PAKEM learning model Based on Fun Experiments is 52.35, while those taught with the PAKEM learning model Based on Video is 53.26. Considering the results of the 2-sample t-test hypothesis test, a sig. value of 0.018 was obtained with a t-count of 0.478 and a t-table of 2.02. Because sig. (0.018) <0.05 and t-count (0.478) <t-table (2.02), it is concluded that there is no significant difference in learning interest between students taught using the PAKEM learning model Based on Fun Experiments and Video Based in class IX MTs Madani Alauddin Pao - Pao Makassar
