Al-Khazini: Journal of Physical Education is a peer-reviewed journal published twice a year (March and September) by the Department of Physical Education, Faculty of Tarbiyah and Teacher Training, Alauddin State Islamic University Makassar. Al-Khazini: Journal of Physics Education is an integrated forum to communicate the progress of science in the field of physics education. This journal reports significant new findings related to physics education; development of instructional media, development of learning methods, application of learning methods,and several applications of media in physics learning. Al-Khazini: Journal of Physical Education publishes comprehensive research articles and invites reviews from leading experts in their fields. Papers will be selected that have high scientific value, provide important new knowledge, and have high interest. Al-Khazini: The Indonesian Journal of Physics Education was only formed in 2021.

Abstract

This research aims to determine physics problem solving abilities based on Polya theory for class XI MIA SMAN 7 Bulukumba, determine physics problem solving abilities based on Polya theory for class and MAN 2 Bulukumba. This type of research isAfter the factby designcausal comparison. The subjects in this research were class XI MIA SMAN 7 and MAN 2 Bulukumba. The instrument used is a problem solving ability test instrument based on the Polya indicator. The results of the descriptive analysis show that the average score for the physics problem solving ability of class XI MIA students at SMAN 7 Bulukumba is 63.88. Meanwhile, the average score for the physics problem solving ability of class XI MIA MAN 2 Bulukumba students is 74.36. Based on the average results obtained at SMAN 7 and MAN 2 Bulukumba, there is a difference between the ability to solve physics problems based on Polya theory for class XI MIA SMAN 7 and MAN 2 Bulukumba.

Abstract

Based on observations made by researchers at SMAN 1 Indrapuri, the media used is textbooks and sometimes educators also display videos as additional media. From these problems the researcher is interested in carrying out research at the SMA / MA level. This study aims to determine the feasibility level of media e-book with 3D PageFlip Professional on Elasticity and Hooke's Law. This research uses Research and Development (R&D) research with the ADDIE model. The ADDIE model has several stages, namely analysis, design, development, implementation and evaluation. The instruments used in this study were validation sheets from media experts and material experts. The results obtained from the validation of media experts were 94.8% and material experts were 97.4% with very decent criteria. It can be concluded that learning media with 3D PageFlip Professional can be used in the learning process.

Abstract

This research aims to improve science learning outcomes for class VIII A of SMP Muhammadiyah Parepare. This research is classroom action research (PTK). Observation, documentation and test results are the data collection techniques used, the data analysis technique used is the qualitative method, with research subjects in class VIII A of SMP Muhammadiyah Parepare. The results of this research prove that implementing the Teams Games Tournament (TGT) type cooperative learning strategy in receiving science material can improve student learning outcomes. This can be proven by the results of research on the application of the TGT learning model in initial conditions to improve the learning outcomes of class VIII A students at SMP Muhammadiyah Parepare with student learning outcomes only up to 25%, then reaching 55% in cycle one and 85% in cycle two, so that it can It is said that learning outcomes can increase. TGT learning at SMP Muhammadiyah Parepare Class VIII A can optimize student learning outcomes during the learning process, as evidenced by the existence of indicators of understanding, attention, involvement and cooperation. The overall level of student activity in cycle I was 54.37%, and increased in cycle II by 71.87%, so it can be said that from the adequate category to the good category

Abstract

This study aims to determine the difficulty of understanding the concept of work and energy in high school students. This research uses descriptive with survey method with research data obtained from student test results. The instrument used is a questionnaire about the concept of work and energy. This research was conducted at SMAN 14 Medan Class XII IPA 4 and XII IPA 5 with the subject of 30 students who have learned the concept of work and energy. The difficulty of understanding the concept experienced by students is that students fall into the medium category in terms of understanding the concept of work and energy material in physics lessons with a percentage of 46.66%. As many as 33.33% of students have difficulty in analyzing effort (positive, negative or zero), kinetic energy, gravitational potential energy, and the law work. Students' difficulty in applying the concept of the law of work and energy in everyday life, amounting to 33.33%. The factors that cause difficulties in understanding the concepts experienced by students are caused by the way the teacher teaches and the students themselves. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pemahaman konsep fisika peserta didik pada materi Fisika Kuantum. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kuantitatif yang memiliki responden terdiri dari 30 siswa kelas XII di SMA Negeri 14 Medan. Instrumen penelitian berupa 10 soal tes pemahaman konsep materi fisika kuantum (selalu, sering, kadang-kadang, jarang, tidak pernah) dan 10 soal tes kesulitan siswa dalam materi fisika kuantum (selalu, sering, kadang-kadang, jarang, tidak pernah) yang  disebarkan langsung melalui angket. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa secara keseluruhan, pemahaman konsep peserta didik terkait materi fisika kuantum dengan kategori rendah  yaitu 14%. Namun beberapa peserta didik masih mengalami kesalahan dalam memahami beberapa konsep fisika kuantum ini, diantaranya peserta didik belum paham tentang superposisi,ketidakpastian heisenberg, contoh atau ilustrasi untuk memahami konsep fisika kuantum,serta konsep pengaplikasian fisika kuantum dalam kehidupan sehari hari dibidang teknologi.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of the inquiry training learning model on the physics learning outcomes of class X students at SMA Makassar Raya. The type of research used was pre-experiment with a One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. The sampling technique was simple random sampling so that the sample in this research was 20 students of class X MIPA 1. The research instruments used were lesson plans (RPP) and learning outcomes tests given before and after implementing the inquiry training learning model. Based on the results of the paired sample t-test, a significance value <0.05 was obtained, meaning that there was a difference in pretest and posttest learning outcomes. So it can be concluded that the inquiry training learning model influences students' physics learning outcomes of class X MIPA 1 SMA Makassar Raya.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the concept understanding and concept understanding constraints of students of class XI IPA 1 SMA Negeri 1 Dolok Batu Nanggar on thermodynamic material in physics lessons. The research method used in this research is a quantitative descriptive method with a research sample of 30 students of class XI IPA 1 SMA Negeri 1 Dolok Batu Nanggar. The instrument used is a questionnaire containing questions about thermodynamic concepts.The results showed (1) The understanding of the concept of students in class XI IPA 1 at SMA Negeri 1 Dolok Batu Nanggar is categorized as moderate in terms of understanding the concept of Thermodynamics material in physics lessons with a percentage of 50%. (2) The highest obstacle experienced by students of class XI IPA 1 at SMA Negeri 1 Dolok Batu Nanggar in understanding the concept of thermodynamic material in physics lessons is the lack of supporting resources such as textbooks or additional learning materials which makes thermodynamics difficult to understand by students with a percentage of 80%. (3) The concept of thermodynamics that is most difficult to understand by students of class XI IPA 1 at SMA Negeri 1 Dolok Batu Nanggar in thermodynamics material is that students find it difficult to understand the carnot cycle series shown in a graph with a percentage result of 63.3%.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze Zoom-based learning, which includes: (1) the problems that lead to the use of Zoom-based learning in education, and (2) the variables influenced by the utilization of Zoom-based learning. The research method used is a literature review with a sample of 10 articles. Data were collected by gathering relevant scientific articles related to Zoom-based learning and then analyzing them. The results of this literature review show that the main issue driving the implementation of Zoom-based learning is the Covid-19 pandemic. Furthermore, the variable most affected by Zoom-based learning is students’ learning outcomes.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the use of technology in the form of game based learning in learning which includes: (1) problems that cause the use of game based learning in learning, (2) variables that are influenced by the use of game based learning in learning. This research method is a literature review with 10 articles in journals. Data collection is carried out by collecting similar scientific articles and then analyzing them. The results of this literature review research show that the main problem that causes the use of game based learning in learning is that the material taught is too difficult and uninteresting so that one cannot concentrate during learning. Furthermore, the variable that greatly influences the use of game-based learning is effectiveness.
