Abstract

Decreased physiological functions of various organ systems that occur in the elderly often result in anxietythat can interfere with other functions, including social functions and health. The anxiety that is nothandled properly can continue to be depressed even to commit suicide. This study aims to determineBalinese selonding gamelan music's effect on anxiety in the elderly in Banjar Selat, Buahan Kaja,Payangan, Gianyar. The design used was pre-experimental with one group pretest-posttest design.Sampling using purposive sampling totaling 41 older adults. Anxiety data were collected using theHamilton Rating Scale for Anxiety (HARS) in the analysis using the Wilcoxon Signed-Rank statistical testat a 95% confidence level (α 0.05). Statistical test results found p = 0.001, < 0.05. Statistically, there was asignificant influence on Balinese selonding gamelan music in reducing the elderly's anxiety. It wasrecommended to reduce the level of anxiety of the elderly, can apply Selonding gamelan music therapy.Keywords: anxiety, , elderly, gamelan Selonding

Abstract

Stunting is a growth disorder in children caused by malnutrition for a long time. The child's conditionbecomes shorter than normal children his age and has a delay in thinking. The incidence of stunting inIndonesia is quite high sostunting is becoming a priority health problem now. An effective strategy isneeded to control stunting in Indonesia. The aim of this review was to explore the stunting managementstrategies to potentially implement in Indonesia. A literature review design was used to explore the stuntingmanagement strategies. Literature study of 15 articles retrieved from the journal database of ScienceDirect, Proquest, Scopus, and EBSCO in the last 5 years using keywords stunting, management, ruralareas, and community based. Data were analyzed in tables consist of title, author, year, sample,methodology, and result. Control and preventionstunting could done through integrated nutritioninterventions. Strategy Specific nutritional interventions such as providing supplementation andsupplementary food plus nutritional interventions including non-health interventions, improving thefamily's economy, access and utilization of clean water, sanitation (especially latrines and safe septictanks), which are urgently needed to support personal hygiene behavior and the environment .Interventions can use mother's counseling and support methods regularly by health workers by involvinghealth cadres. Specific and sensitive intervention strategies are effective strategies within stunting controland prevention. Monitoring and evaluation of nutritional knowledge, attitudes and practices coupled withan assessment of the nutritional status and morbidity of mothers and children is also very necessary incontrolling and preventing stunting in Indonesia.

Abstract

Congestive Heart Failure can have a psychological impact on a patient's life. The effect ofthe psycologicalimpact which commonly found is depression. Murottal Al-Qur'an therapy is one type of nonpharmacological treatment used to reduce depression because it can cause a relaxation response for thosewho listen to it. This study aims to determine the effect of Murottal therapy on depression scores inCongestive Heart Failure patients at the Integrated Heart Center Dr. Wahidin Sudirohusodo. Thisresearch method was a type of Quasi-experimental research with the research design used is Time SeriesWith Control Group Design. Thirty-six respondents were divided into two groups. Each group was 18respondents. The instrument used was the Hamilton Anxiety and Depression Scale questionnaire. Datawere analyzed using the Wilcoxon test. The results of this study obtained a value of p <0.05. This meansthat in general, there was the influence of murottal therapy interventions on depression. The conclusionwas murottal Al-Quran therapy can reduce depression in Congestive Heart Failure patients. Therefore,care providers were expected to provide nursing interventions using Al-Quran reading as a complementarytherapy to reduce depression scores

Abstract

Kehamilan pre-eklampsia menjadi salah satu penyebab kematian maternal. Kurangnya kesadaran danpengetahuan untuk melakukan pemeriksaan, perawatan antenatal dan perawatan intrapartum yang tepat baikpada ibu hamil dan keluarga berdampak pada keterlambatan pengambilan keputusan penanganan. Tujuanuntuk mendeskripsikan persepsi masyarakat dan tenaga kesehatan tentang kehamilan pre-eklampsia.Metodologi: Literature review. Pencarian basis data yang digunakan adalah ScienceDirect, Scopus, ProQuestdan Pubmed dengan diperoleh 10 artikel dengan metode SPIDER. Kriteria inklusi dalam kajian adalahPersepsi masyarakat dan tenaga kesehatan tentang tentang kehamilan pre-eklampsia, bahasa inggris, fulltext,studi kualitatif, tahun 2014-2019. Literature review menunjukkan masih belum tepatnya pemahamanmasyarakat tentang pre-eklampsia dan tenaga kesehatan tentang penanganan pre-eklampsia. Literaturereview ini merekomendasikan peningkatan pemahaman masyarakat tentang tanda bahaya kehamilantermasuk pre-eklampsia sehingga dapat mendorong peran masyarakat dalam pencegahan angka kesakitan.

Abstract

More than half of pregnant women that feel discomfort because of nausea and vomiting pregnancy (NVP)report have been disturbed sleep during pregnancy. Insufficient sleep duration and poor sleep qualityduring pregnancy may increase the risk of adverse pregnancy outcomes, including growth restriction of thefetus, and postpartum depression. Yoga is commonly used for relaxation and is proven effective to reducestress and anxiety in pregnant women so that it is possible to improve the quality of sleep for pregnantwomen. One form of yoga practice in pregnant women is pranayama and restorative yoga postures.Sothisstudy aims to find out whether pranayama and restorative yoga postures effective to improve the quality ofsleep in pregnant women. This quasy experimental study with a control group was conducted on 58pregnant women with nausea and vomiting obtained by purposive sampling method. Respondents weredivided into two groups, 29 respondents in each group. The pranayama and restorative yoga postures weregiven in the intervention group in 30 minutes for 7 days continuously. The quality of sleep was measured bythe Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index (PSQI). The results of data analysis using the Chi-Square test showedthat there were no differences in sleep quality scores of pregnant women before and after being givenpranayama and restorative yoga postures (p>0.05). Pregnant women with second and third trimester whoexperience nausea and vomiting in this study do not seem to be at increased sleep quality after doingpranayama and restorative yoga postures.Frequency

Abstract

Stroke is one of the leading causes of death and disability worldwide. One of the complications of stroke isfatigue post stroke (FPS), where the prevalence ranges from 25% -85%. The mechanism of FPS is notestablished yet, it might be caused by physical and mental fatigue. Factors that causes FPS includephysical disability and psychological disorders. Both physical and non-physical interventions have notbeen proven to be effective in treating FPS. The purpose of this study is to explore the effectiveness of nonphysical interventions in overcoming FPS. Literature review was used in this study by searching articlesusing the 3 database, namely Scopus, Ebsco, and Science Direct with the keywords fatigue post stroke, nonphysical intervention, and stroke management. Inclusion criteria are full text journals in English, humanintervention, Randomize Control Trial (RCT) or Quasi experiment research, journals published from 2015-2020 and studies that measure FPS levels as their main objectives. The results of the literature study foundfive RCT articles that fit the inclusion criteria. Three types of intervention were obtained in these articles,there were psychostimulant drugs, Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) and psychology intervention.Although not all interventions show significant results, interventions with modafinil, Cognitive BehavioralTherapy and TCM can improve FPS. The results of the literature review can be used as evidence based forfatigue management of stroke patients

Abstract

The hospital is required to conduct an evaluation of nursing clinical competence accompanied bystrengthening of direction and monitoring of clinical performance by the nurse manager to ensuring thatnurses are competent so that they can provide safe and appropriate nursing care according to professionalstandards. The purpose of this study is to socialize and evaluate the implementation of multilevel clinicalsupervision guidelines and SOP at RS X. The method is used pilot study through Kurt Lewin's theory ofchange with problem analysis using fishbone diagrams. The unfreezing phase is carried out by collectingdata on the results of the assessment ofmanagement problems through interviews, observations and surveys.The movement phase is doing all the change processes that are written in the form of Plan of Action (POA)with the hospital. The refreezing phase The refreezing stage, namely guidance and SPO for nursingsupervision, was endorsed by the hospital. Implementation is given as a solution to the problem that ismaking guidelines and SPO clinical supervision of tiered nursing. The recommendation for the hospital is toprovide clinical supervision training for the head nurse and primary nurses, socialization of the improvedsupervision instruments and add clinical supervision as a performance indicator for the head nurse andprimary nurses.

Abstract

Adolescent girls are vulnerable groups who have a high risk of iron deficiency anemia due to increasednutrient needs at puberty. Adolescent knowledge will influence adolescent behavior in filling iron-rich foodsand in the end have effect on adolescent hemoglobin levels. The purpose of this study was to determine therelationship of knowledge about anemia with hemoglobin levels in adolescent girls at Senior High School of 05Pekanbaru. This type of research was correlational with cross sectional approach. The study was conductedfrom March-September 2019 to 52 adolescent girls. The sampling technique used purposive sampling method.The instrument of data collection used a questionnaire to determine the knowledge of adolescent girls aboutanemia and Hb test to determine hemoglobin levels in adolescent girls Data analysis used Pearson correlationtest. The results showed that the average age of adolescent girls was at the age of 16 years with an averagehemoglobin level of 13.8g / dl. There was a relationship between adolescent girls' knowledge with hemoglobinlevels in adolescent girls at Senior High Scholl of 05 Pekanbaru (p = 0.041, p <0.05). Based on these results, itis expected to increase adolescent knowledge to be better through sustainable health education programs thatare more easily accepted by youth groups

Abstract

Nurses work professionally in hospitals to provide nursing services so that patients feel satisfied with thework ofnurses. But nurse job satisfaction in hospitals in Indonesia is still low. Several factors most influencedlow nurse job satisfaction. One of them is nurse service scheduling. Nursing scheduling is the arrangementand allocation of time available to carry out tasks from the work of nurses. The purpose of this study was todetermine the relationship between nursing scheduling with patient satisfaction at Y Hospital Jakarta. Thisstudy method was cross-sectional. The number ofsamples was 32 nurses (n = 32) through a stratified randomsampling technique. The study was conducted at Y Hospital Jakarta. Inclusion criteria included nurse,worked at least 1 year in ward, and were willing to become respondents. Analyzed of data used Pearsoncorrelation test. The results showed that the average nurse job satisfaction was 73, while the nurse'sscheduling was 90. 29. These results indicated that nurse satisfaction was still below the minimum servicestandard (SPM). This result also showed that there was a significant relationship between nursing schedulingand nurse satisfaction (p = 0.040; r = 0.349). The conclusion of this study was that there was a significantrelationship between nursing scheduling and nurse satisfaction at Y Hospital. Recommendations were givento the Head of the room to be fair in making the official schedule. Hospital managers also are expected toimprove nurse satisfaction by managing to nurse scheduling properly.

Abstract

Diagnosis of mental disorders and the duration of treatment can lead to tension and despair so thatpsychological stress arises from the families of people with the mental disorders. Psychological stressfamilies of people with mental disorders should be in the management properly so no impact on thetreatment of family members who have mental disorders.The research objective was to analyze the stresslevel relationships with family stress management behaviors of people with mental disorders. The studydesign was a correlation with croossectional approach. The population was the entire family of people withmental disorders were 40 taken with the total sampling and analyzed using Chi Square. Results showedfamilies of people with mental disorders do not stress as much as 29 respondents (72.5%) and positiveattitude as much as 22 respondents (55%). There was a relationship with the stress level of family stressmanagement behaviors of people with mental disorders with p value <0.05.In conclusion the level of stressrelated with family stress management behaviors of people with mental disorders. Stress managementeducation and socialization needs to be done so that the psychological burden of the family can beminimized.
