Abstract

Learning is an important aspect of education that influences individual quality. However, the lack of variety in teaching methods often results in low student learning outcomes, especially in Mathematics subjects at SDN Kapuk 11 Pagi. This research aims to determine the effect of the TGT (Team Games Tournament) type learning model assisted by crossword media on the mathematics learning outcomes of fourth grade elementary school students. Using a quantitative method with a quasi-experimental design, the sample consisted of 60 grade IV students who were divided into experimental and control groups. Data was collected through a written test and analyzed using the Independent Sample T-test. The research results show that the application of the TGT learning model using crossword puzzles significantly improves student learning outcomes. The average score of the experimental group students was 86.00, while the control group was 64.83. The t test shows the calculated t value of 9.49 is greater than the t table value of 2.003 with an effect size of 1.47 which indicates a high influence. In conclusion, the TGT type cooperative learning model assisted by crossword puzzles is effective in improving students' mathematics learning outcomes by increasing cooperation, motivation and skills, making learning more interesting and interactive. Teachers are encouraged to use this model effectively and vary their teaching methods to improve the quality of learning.

Abstract

Coronary Heart Disease (CHD) remains a leading cause of death globally. The accumulation of plaque in the coronary arteries is a primary contributor to CHD. Lipid profiles serve as crucial indicators for assessing risk and monitoring treatment response in CHD patients. This study aimed to analyse the lipid profiles of patients diagnosed with CHD and their association with CHD risk factors such as gender, age, and severity. This quantitative descriptive study was conducted at the Department of Cardiology in the Gatot Soebroto Indonesia Army Central Hospital, Jakarta, Indonesia, from January 2023 to June 2023. Obeying inclusion and exclusion criteria of the study, a total of 84 participants were finalised as the study population. All necessary data were collected, analysed, and disseminated by several programs of MS-Excel and SPSS version 25. Among 84 CHD patients, 66.7% were male and 33.3% were female. On the other hand, over half of the sample (51.2%) was under 60 years old. Results also indicated that 38.6% of patients had one-vessel disease. While a majority of patients had normal levels of triglycerides (64.3%), total cholesterol (64.3%), and HDL (53.6%), a substantial proportion (63.1%) exhibited abnormal LDL levels. In this study, it was found that the majority of CHD patients had high LDL levels and low HDL levels, while triglyceride and total cholesterol levels tended to be normal. This study also discovered that men have lower HDL compared to females with a p-value (<0.05), but there was no difference between age ranges and severity with lipid profiles.

Abstract

This research aims to improve learning outcomes and determine whether or not there is an influence on Pancasila Education learning outcomes using the Problem Based Learning learning method for students at V SDN Baru 06 for the 2023-2024 academic year. The research method used is a quantitative research method with the research design used being Quasi Experiment with Posttest-only Control Group Design type and the sampling technique used is Purposive Sampling. Next, the data was analyzed for the requirements test, namely the Normality test using the Liliefors test, obtaining the control class Lo < Lt, namely 0.1478 < 0.1674 and the experimental class Lo < Lt, namely 0.1353 < 0.1645, so it can be concluded that both data are normally distributed. While the homogeneity test using Fisher's test obtained Fcount < Ftable, namely 1.342 < 1.898, so it can be concluded that the homogeneity test has homogeneous distribution of group variance data. In hypothesis testing, the t-test was used to obtain tcount > ttable, namely 3.303 > 2.004. Thus, Ho is rejected and H1 is accepted, which states that there is an influence of the problem based learning method on the Pancasila education learning outcomes of class V students at SDN Baru 06. With the effect size test results of 0.817, which means the influence of the problem based learning learning method is very high on the results. Abstract

This study explores the effect of the Team Game Tournament (TGT) learning model on the learning outcomes of Grade 4 students at Malaka Sari 01 Elementary School. The TGT model, as a cooperative learning strategy, engages students in collaborative and competitive group activities aimed at enhancing cognitive, affective, and psychomotor domains. The research employs a quasi-experimental design involving 60 students, divided into experimental and control groups. Data was collected through pre-tests and post-tests, with statistical analysis conducted using SPSS 25 to evaluate normality, homogeneity, and t-tests. The findings reveal a significant improvement in the learning outcomes of students exposed to the TGT model, with the experimental group demonstrating higher post-test scores compared to the control group. The study concludes that the TGT model fosters active participation, teamwork, and engagement, leading to improved academic performance and better comprehension of IPAS (Natural and Social Sciences) subjects. The results underscore the potential of TGT as an effective pedagogical tool to create enjoyable and meaningful learning experiences for elementary students.

Abstract

The influence of the Korean Wave, brand ambassadors, and Koreanesque brand image has significantly shaped consumer behavior in Indonesia’s local cosmetic market. This study aims to analyze the impact of these factors along with product pricing on purchase intention for local cosmetics inspired by Korean culture.
