Abstract

Professional Certification Institute (Lembaga Sertifikasi Profesi, LSP) is important in improving the quality of human resources in Indonesia through the provision of training and competency tests in accordance with their fields. For this reason, a medium is needed to promote the services of the Professional Certification Institute in order to reach the Indonesian people widely and online. One of the efforts to improve the promotion of the LSP Ditekindo is to improve the quality of the LSP Ditekindo website. The purpose of this research is to provide recommendations for redesigning and improving the quality of UI/UX, as well as completing information that should be on the LSP Ditekindo website. Researchers applied the Design Thinking method and Agile Framework, and collected data through questionnaires to find out user opinions about the website. The results showed that the Design Thinking method proved to be able to produce a better website redesign in terms of user experience. The Agile Framework method also helps produce a website redesign that is iterative, collaborative, and responsive to user needs. This is evidenced by the results of A/B Testing that has been carried out, where overall Design B or the results of the LSP Ditekindo website redesign were selected and favored by the accession.

Abstract

Lack of media utilization during the learning process can lead to low student learning outcomes. This study aims (1) to determine the effect of increasing higher learning outcomes using weblog media using the Problem Based Learning model rather than using powerpoint; (2) to determine the response to the use of weblog media using the Problem Based Learning model; (3) to determine the positive correlation between response and increased learning outcomes. The sampling technique is purposive sampling. Hypothesis testing was carried out using the right one-party t-test, the results of the study at the significance level = 0.05 showed that tcount > ttable (5.95 > 1.99) so there was an effect of increasing learning outcomes higher using weblog media than using powerpoint. The increase in student learning outcomes of the experimental class was 78.28% and the control class was 52.45%. The response to the weblog media with the Problem Based Learning model was 75.5% in the interesting category. The correlation test of the response to the improvement of student learning outcomes shows rcount> rtable (0.58> 0.27) so there is a positive and significant correlation between the response and the improvement of learning outcomes.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine and analyze the effect of financial performance, leverage, credit, and time on the risk of bad credit with company size as a moderating variable. The research method used in this research is quantitative. The population in this study were 47 commercial banks going public in Indonesia listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the period 2016-2023, so the data used were 141 samples. The results showed that the variables studied had a significant influence on the risk of bad credit. First, the financial performance variable has a coefficient value of 1.84 with a significance value of 0.017. These results indicate that financial performance has a positive effect on the risk of bad debts, with every 1% increase in financial performance will increase non-performing loans by 1.84% ceteris paribus. Second, the leverage variable also has a positive effect on non-performing loans, with a coefficient of 0.17 and a significance value of 0.0055. This indicates that every 1% increase in leverage will increase non-performing loans by 0.17% ceteris paribus. The implication of this study is the importance of tighter risk management in managing financial performance and leverage in commercial banks, especially in volatile periods such as the Covid-19 pandemic. Bank managers should pay attention to these indicators in making strategic decisions to minimize the risk of bad debts. In addition, this study provides insights for regulators to strengthen financial supervision policies to maintain the stability of the banking system in Indonesia.

Abstract

This research provides an illustration of a project-based learning experience that combines both understanding and business projects in a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Education program. Specifically, students enrolled in the Marketing Strategy class create a new product (goods or services) and develop an accompanying marketing strategy, including packaging design and marketing videos to be shared on social media. Afterward, students select one product from the show for use in their own semester sales project. In order to assess the effectiveness of this experience, tests were conducted before and after the project using descriptive analysis to analyze the data. Additionally, a questionnaire was distributed to obtain student responses during the classes. The findings demonstrate that Project Based Learning increases students’ abilities to work in groups and individually, and boosts their proficiency in implementing marketing strategies.

Abstract

Psoriatic arthritis (PsA) presents a significant challenge due to its high prevalence and morbidity rates. Psoriasis vulgaris affects an estimated 0.19-2% of the global population, with approximately 30% of these individuals progressing to experience psoriatic arthritis. Methods: This is a retrospective study using medical records of psoriatic arthritis patients at the Dermatology and Venereology Clinic. Result and Discussion: A total of 168 psoriasis patients were assessed at the Dermatology and Venereology Clinic of Prof. I.G.N.G Ngoerah Hospital from 2021 to 2023. Among them, 58 cases were also diagnosed with Psoriatic Arthritis (PsA), accounting for 35.1% of the sample. Of these, 33 patients were male (67.3%) and 16 were female (32.7%). The highest prevalence was observed in the 40-59 age group (51%). Additionally, 77.5% of patients had a Body Surface Area (BSA) greater than 10%, 61.2% had a Psoriasis Area Severity Index (PASI) score of severe psoriasis (>10), and 49.0% had a Dermatology Life Quality Index (DLQI) score indicating moderate impact (6-10). Similarly, 49.0% of patients had a moderate Disease Activity Index for Psoriatic Arthritis (DAPSA) score (>4-14). The study revealed a PsA prevalence of 35.1%, which surpasses global averages, likely due to the hospital's role as a tertiary referral center for severe psoriasis cases. Conclusion: The prevalence of Psoriatic Arthritis (PsA) among patients treated is still high, particularly among male patients aged 40-59 years who have severe psoriasis based on BSA (Body Surface Area), PASI (Psoriasis Area Severity Index), and DLQI (Dermatology Life Quality Index) criteria.

Abstract

In the rapidly evolving information age, technological developments and social media significantly influence consumer purchasing decisions, especially in urban environments. This study explores the factors that influence the purchase intention of blue light glasses among urban consumers who use digital devices, using the Theory of Reasoned Action (TRA) framework. The factors analyzed include social media marketing, subjective norms, attitudes, hedonism, health values, social values, and knowledge. The survey was conducted among 306 respondents and analyzed by Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) using Partial Least Squares (PLS). The results show that marketing through social media, attitude, hedonism, health value, and knowledge have a positive effect on purchase intention, while social value shows a negative effect. This research provides insights for academics and practitioners in understanding consumer behavior and developing effective marketing strategies for anti-blue light glasses in Indonesia.
