Abstract

In business, particularly in Indonesia, the implementation of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) concepts has become essential. CSR disclosure is often regarded as a strategy to enhance a company's brand and meet societal expectations, despite ongoing debates about its applicability and efficacy. Nevertheless, Indonesian businesses have yet to fully embrace investments that prioritize sustainable financial principles and ecologically beneficial characteristics. The efficacy of a company's climate change strategy is contingent upon the participation of the CSR committee, and the successful execution of climate change management methods is largely dependent on CSR spending. However, differences exist between the effects of family and managerial ownership on business operations. This study examines the connections between CSR disclosure, the function of CSR committees, CSR spending, managerial and family ownership, and the performance of Indonesian firms. The research's conclusions offer significant insights for businesses in terms of performance enhancement and meeting stakeholder expectations

Abstract

Information technology has an important role in improving the efficiency of services in the health sector, including the management of drug supplies in pharmacies. Apotek Salam faces several obstacles in manual drug stock management, such as lack of stock accuracy, improper inventory counting, and difficulty tracking expired drugs. To overcome this problem, it is necessary to design a website-based drug inventory information system  using PHP and Ajax programming languages as data integration with MySql databases that can display drug stock, price, and expiration date information well. By using  the First Expired First Out (FEFO) method on the website can make it easier to manage stock, ensure that drugs with an approaching expiration date are prioritized, increase efficiency in pharmacy services. In order to get better quality of drug stock with alerts on drug stock that will be yellow and those that have expired in red and stock taking to maintain the quality of drug stock and medical devices at Pharmacy Salam.

Abstract

Background: Congenital heart defects occur due to abnormal changes in the structure of the heart that occur early in pregnancy and are present at birth. This defect is the most common congenital anomaly, occurring in approximately 1 in 125 births. Tetralogy of Fallot (TOF) is a defect in which there is an obstruction of blood flow from the heart to the lungs, resulting in low blood oxygen levels. Brain abscess is a rare, fatal complication, accounting for 5%–18.7% of the population with cyanotic congenital heart disease. This condition is often accompanied by headache, fever, seizures, altered mental status, focal neurologic deficits, nausea, and vomiting. Case: A 10 year old girl with brain abcess and hydrocephalus who will undergo external ventrikel drainage with tetralogy of fallot. Disscussion: The Anaesthetic goals for a case of uncorrected Tetralogy of Fallot posted for a non-cardiac surgery are to avoid hypoxemia, ensure adequate hydration, maintain systemic arterial blood pressure (SVR), minimise additional resistance to pulmonary blood flow (pulmonary vascular resistance) and avoiding sudden increase in systemic oxygen demand (cry, inadequate depth of an aesthesia, seizure, pain, etc). Conclution: Anesthesia management of children with TOF presenting for non-cardiac surgery requires a thorough understanding of the pathophysiology of this condition and the altered haemodynamics.

Abstract

The rapid development of information and communication technology (ICT) has brought significant changes in various aspects of life, including in the world of commerce in the form of e-commerce. Although e-commerce offers many conveniences and advantages, it also presents multiple risks and potential law violations for consumers. This study aims to analyze the legal framework that regulates consumer protection in e-commerce transac-tions in Indonesia. This research uses a normative juridical method. The data was collect-ed through a literature review of legal literature, laws and regulations related to e-commerce, and recent research reports highlighting consumer protection issues. The data collected will be analyzed qualitatively. The results of the study show that legal protection for consumers in e-commerce transactions in the digital era is regulated in Law Number 8 of 1999 concerning Consumer Protection. Consumer protection includes effective dispute resolution mechanisms, such as mediation or arbitration, as well as legal procedures if necessary. This aims to ensure that consumers have fair and fast access to resolving is-sues with manufacturers or service providers. Efforts to strengthen legal protection for consumers need to be carried out on an ongoing basis by various parties, including the government, business actors, and the community.

Abstract

Murals are often a medium for conveying people's aspirations. However, most people think that murals are just graffiti on the wall with no meaning. In this case, mural artists play a role in voicing aspirations, criticism, ideas and things that are bothering society. Because murals do not only focus on the beauty of the mural artwork, but also have meaning and messages. Masjo, as a mural artist, sees phenomena around him that he uses as topics for murals. As happened some time ago, the Covid-19 pandemic has had a real impact on society. Masjo sees this phenomenon as sad. This research uses a qualitative descriptive method, using iconography and iconology semiotics to obtain markers of meaning contained in mural images. So that this research can explain or describe Masjo's mural work in detail. The results of this research are the meaning of artistic expression and messages of social criticism in Masjo's mural entitled 'Just stay at home'. Abstract

Ibnu Hajar Boarding School (IHBS), a modern Islamic boarding school in East Jakarta, combines classical Islamic education with a modern approach to meet the needs of the era of globalization. This research aims to understand education management in IHBS, identify obstacles, solutions, and future development plans. Data was collected through interviews with decision-makers at Islamic boarding schools, including caregivers, internal supervisors, principals, and managerial staff. The results of the study show that education management at IHBS has included planning, organizing, managing human resources, directing, and supervising. However, implementation still needs improvement. Factors supporting success include the support of the entire IHBS community, adequate facilities, managerial openness, and good financial management. Meanwhile, inhibiting factors include differences in perception between employees, incomplete SOPs, lack of human resource competence, and lack of focus in management and regeneration. In addition to education, IHBS also manages MSMEs consisting of mini markets, catering, laundry, convection, cafes, and refillable water. Despite playing an important role in the pesantren economy, several obstacles are still faced, such as contracts that are not yet shallow, business stagnation, and the lack of professionalism of human resources relevant to business demands.

Abstract

The global livestock industry is significantly threatened by foot-and-mouth disease (FMD). The re-emergence of FMD outbreaks in Indonesia is one example of the epidemiological cycle in a region. This study aimed to analyze the future industry of foot-and-mouth disease. This qualitative study used a secondary data processing that includes the collection, analysis, and interpretation of information to identify trends, challenges, and opportunities that may emerge by using the foresight industry analysis approach and the Generic Foresight Process (GFP) stage framework. Industry foresight analysis identified changing trends of technological, regulatory, geopolitical, demographic, and lifestyle. Several possibilities were identified through the GFP framework, which was conducted by identifying several possibilities based on looking and analyzing what is happening, what is really happening, what might happen in the future, what we would like to happen, and what we might need to do. The results of the industry foresight analysis showed that an FMD vaccine was essential for farmers to open international market access and as a sustainable disease control strategy. The technology aspect played a vital role as the key to competition in the industry in the future. The industry will compete to create an FMD vaccine that best suits the existing market challenges. The results of the GFP framework analysis showed that eradicating FMD worldwide still requires a long and extensive process and is predicted to continue until 2050.
