Abstract

Telepsychology in Indonesia can be a solution to overcome the shortage of mental health professionals to address psychological problems, but it is a new challenge for counselors. Anxiety clients prefer online psychology services because of 1) easier access to feel accompanied by them when they are anxious and 2) they need immediate help in the event of a panic or anxiety attack. The public's interest in using telepsychology has not been accompanied by empirical data on the ability of counselors to provide online counseling services, especially in establishing working alliances. This research is the second stage. The first phase of research was conducted on 93 counselors who were selected through a simple random sampling technique. The result is that it is difficult for counselors to carry out extra therapy influence when conducting online counseling. This second research began by developing a way to increase extra therapy influence through monitoring tasks based on the principle of constructing tasks (Kazantzis et al., 2005) and monitoring tasks via text (Alfonsson et al., 2019) to overcome the difficulties of counselors in monitoring task assignments and conducting a test of the influence of the provision of monitoring modules structured in an online counseling setting to lower anxiety levels. The design of this second study is an equivalent comparison group design, with a total of 6 participants obtained through the purposive sampling technique.

Abstract

Poverty in the district of Seram Bagian Timur (SBT) is beyond the provincial poverty rate. Several poverty factors used a deductive approach. This study used an inductive approach of about 99 respondents from rural poor households. We gathered through in-depth interviews using questionnaire tools. Data analysis uses path analysis and the software SMARTPLS4.0. Research showed that most poor rural households are deprived of clear water, sanitation, education costs and access to higher education, housing, and energy. Second, the number of children and household dependency significantly influence education and health. Third, education and health significantly influence poverty. The higher the education and health level, the lower the poverty rate. Third, poverty significantly influences food consumption patterns. Poor households consume local sago food, while not-poor households consume imported rice. Research findings imply that population control through planning family is still crucial, including education and health, to reduce poverty. Poverty reduction needs to follow food security through sago palm and prime commodity industrialization program intervention.

Abstract

Introduction: Several potential targets have been suggested for the treatment of pharmacoresistant epilepsy, including medial parts of temporal lobes, caudate nucleus, cerebellum, centromedian nucleus of the thalamus, subthalamic nucleus and anterior thalamic nucleus (ATN). The effectiveness of bilateral ATN thalamotomy as treatment option for pharmacoresistant temporal lobe epilepsy is a considerable approach in this recent advances. Method: Case report. Result: A 24-year old male patient presented with unknown onset of generalized tonic clonic seizures and serials of drop attacks since 4 years of age. He was also diagnosed with Attention Defcit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) and a history of febrile seizures. Brain MRI was normal. He has been treated with so many combination of antiepileptic drugs (AEDs) with last combination were Valproic acid 500 mg twice daily, Clonazepam 2 mg thrice daily and Zonisamide 100 mg twice daily. Despite all polytherapy AEDs given, he was still having recurrent seizures. Vagal Nerve Stimulation (VNS) was then conducted and seizures were slightly better. After maximal VNS voltage given, seizures became more frequent. ATN bilateral thalamotomy was done five years after, where seizure was better controlled. Levetiracetam 500mg twice daily and phenobarbital 15 mg once was given in concordance to the surgery, and the patient is doing well until now. Conclusion: In pharmacoresistant temporal lobe epilepsy where AEDs and VNS showed no signifcant improvement, ATN bilateral thalamotomy is considered to be a compelling treatment option. As we know, this is a first case report for ATN thalamotomy for epilepsy in south east asia region.

Abstract

Transportation is a basic necessity that is crucial, especially for urban communities. Public Passenger Cars (MPU) in Bekasi Regency play a vital role in supporting the daily mobility and activities of residents. However, the current performance of MPU is still suboptimal, as indicated by loading factors, frequencies, travel times, waiting times, and headways that do not meet established standards. This study utilizes the Importance-Performance Analysis (IPA) method to assess MPU performance from the perspective of service users. The analysis results indicate the need for route reorganization from 10 to 9 routes, and a fare of Rp. 3000,00 per passenger or Rp. 700,00 per km. Key areas for improvement include room temperature regulation, fare, ease of reaching routes, stopping times, the number of operating vehicles, and vehicle age. Linear regression analysis shows that vehicle waiting time and passenger safety and security are the most influential factors.

Abstract

The Program Performance Indicator (IKP) stipulated in the Guidelines for the Road and Bridge Sector No.07/P/BM/2021 is an indicator to measure the fulfillment of the level of road network services. The IKP consists of four components where the IKP value is the average value of the four components. The four components of the IKP are unevenness (IRI), pavement surface condition (PCI), remaining pavement life (RSL), and drainage effectiveness with the weight of each component set in the guidelines, namely IRI 60%, PCI 10%, RSL 15%, and drainage effectiveness 15%. The weight can also be adjusted to the specifics of each Center or Province. This study aims to examine the components of IKP in West Papua and West Java Provinces. The research was conducted using the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) method to obtain a ranking of each IKP component. The results of the study were obtained that the weight of the IKP component based on the guidelines could be accepted and applied to the review area, except for the weight of the PCI for Maluku Province where less than 75% of respondents stated that it was appropriate. The weight of the components obtained based on the AHP analysis for the Maluku region is IRI 28%, PCI 27%, RSL 23%, and drainage effectiveness 22%. The results of the study can be considered as a reference for the preparation of component weights for other provinces in Indonesia.
