Abstract

Cognitive development is a crucial aspect of a child's growth, encompassing thinking skills, memory, and learning motivation. This study aims to analyze the impact of Audiolyfe stimulation on the cognitive development of children aged 0-12 years in Banda Aceh, focusing on enhancing intelligence, memory, and learning enthusiasm. A quasi-experimental method was employed with 20 children as participants. Data were collected through observation and questionnaires and analyzed descriptively. The results revealed that Audiolyfe significantly influenced children's cognitive development. Children who received this stimulation demonstrated increased intelligence, sharper memory, and higher learning motivation compared to the control group. The effectiveness of Audiolyfe is attributed to the impact of sound waves on neurological activity in the auditory cortex and memory areas of the brain. Additionally, Banda Aceh's local culture, such as the tradition of listening to stories and traditional music, reinforced children's positive responses to this stimulation. This study concludes that Audiolyfe is an innovative and effective approach to supporting children's cognitive development. It is recommended that Audiolyfe be integrated into formal and informal education programs in Banda Aceh to improve children's learning quality optimally.

Abstract

The telecommunications industry in Indonesia has undergone significant changes with the shift from legacy services to data-based services, influencing consumer behavior in accessing digital content and social media. The objective of this study is to determine whether Co-Branding, Celebrity Endorsers, and Electronic Word of Mouth directly affect Purchase Intention and indirectly affect Purchase Intention through Brand Image. The analysis method in this research employs quantitative primary data. The data used in this study were collected using a questionnaire instrument, with valid data gathered from 200 respondents. The testing stages include the measurement model (outer model) with convergent validity, discriminant validity, and reliability tests, as well as the structural model (inner model) with R-square tests, Q-square tests, SRMR tests, and hypothesis testing using path coefficients and specific indirect effects. The sampling method used in this study is non-probability sampling with purposive sampling technique. The testing tool utilized is SmartPLS 4. The results of this study indicate that Co-Branding has a positive and significant effect on Brand Image. However, Celebrity Endorser and Electronic Word of Mouth do not have a positive and significant effect on Brand Image. Co-Branding, Electronic Word of Mouth, and Brand Image have a positive and significant effect on Purchase Intention, whereas Celebrity Endorser does not have a positive and significant effect on Purchase Intention. Furthermore, Brand Image mediates the effect of Co-Branding on Purchase Intention, but does not mediate the effects of Celebrity Endorsers and Electronic Word of Mouth on Purchase Intention for the KuWOTAJKT48 package by Telkomsel.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the application of Computer-Mediated Communication in the Recognition of Past Learning (RPL) Program for Bachelor and Master of Communication Science at Fajar University. By using interpretive qualitative methods, the informants in this study were lecturers in undergraduate and master programs. The data collection techniques were carried out by in-depth interviews and also using snowball sampling techniques, non-participant observation and document studies. The results show that interactivity in online learning is highly dependent on effective communication between lecturers and students. Lecturers use quizzes and discussions to ensure the material is conveyed clearly, and encourage students to share relevant work experiences. Active participation in discussions, presentations and assignments gives students better grades, incentivizing engagement. Technologies such as Zoom and WhatsApp mediate communication, with Zoom for face-to-face lectures and WhatsApp for informal discussions. A Learning Management System (LMS) is also used to upload materials and schedules. Additional training for lecturers and technology support for students are necessary for successful online learning.

Abstract

The Special Placement Program to Taiwan (SP2T) is an innovative initiative aimed at streamlining the placement of Indonesian Migrant Workers (PMI) to Taiwan by eliminating placement costs through digitization, bypassing the Indonesian Migrant Worker Placement Company (P3MI). This study analyzes the principles of Digital Weberian Bureaucracy (DWB) such as intelligent efficiency, sizing-ip objectivity, and remote rationality in the implementation of SP2T, utilizing the Indonesian Migrant Worker Protection Computerized System (SISKOP2MI). The research focuses on how digitization can address issues like overcharging in worker placement. The study used qualitative methods, including interviews with 15 SP2T candidates from the first batch in 2025, representatives of stakeholders, and document studies of regulations and reports related to SP2T. The findings highlight that DWB's goals of efficiency and objectivity can be achieved with human resource transformation, innovation in technology use, and overcoming system errors. The implementation of SP2T has been successful, reducing placement costs and speeding up the process compared to P3MI; however, collaboration among companies, HSDC Taiwan, and KDEI is still weak in creating a consistent placement quota. The study recommends promoting SP2T proactively to Taiwanese companies and improving coordination with training centers and vocational schools to increase labor supply. Furthermore, facilitating Chinese language training for migrant workers by BP2MI before departure can better prepare them for working in Taiwan.

Abstract

This research investigates how public research investments in energy affect greenhouse gas emission reductions across nations with varying income levels. The OLS regression analysis shows a significant negative correlation, indicating that increased public funding for clean energy innovation leads to decarbonization. GDP and population size remain the main factors driving emissions despite research efforts, illustrating the challenging task of achieving both economic growth and sustainability. Propensity Score Matching (PSM) helped mitigate selection bias and solidify the causal connection between R&D investments and emissions reductions. Despite their leadership in R&D investment, high-income countries maintain elevated per capita emissions, demonstrating that technological innovation must be supported by additional policies, including carbon pricing and regulatory measures. Lower-income nations face substantial financial obstacles to clean energy development, highlighting the necessity for global partnerships, along with technology sharing and international financial support models.

Abstract

This research focuses on the analysis of public diplomacy conducted by Atarashii Kaze (Ajikaze) in Indonesia as a form of promotion of Japanese culture. Public diplomacy is one of the important strategies in international relations, especially in building positive relations between the Japanese and Indonesian people. The conceptual framework of this research uses the theory of public diplomacy activities proposed by Nicholas J. Cull, which includes elements such as listening, advocacy, cultural diplomacy, exchange diplomacy, and international broadcasting. This research was conducted using a descriptive method with a qualitative approach to explore the activities and forms of public diplomacy carried out by Ajikaze. The study results show that Atarashii Kaze's public diplomacy in Indonesia is implemented through a series of activities, such as exchanges through programs (I-mate), cultural visits, and the organization of various events that allow the target audience to actively participate in the cultural experience.

Abstract

Hospitals are pillars of the health system, requiring healthcare workers who excel in technical skills and overall performance, supported by resources that yield superior health products and services. However, at Ciamis Regional Hospital, employee performance remains below the set targets and has declined annually. This decline is partly due to low self-confidence and suboptimal work discipline, as data from July to August 2024 revealed that over 50% of employees did not properly implement work discipline. Based on these observations, this research assesses self-efficacy, work discipline, and employee performance at Ciamis Regional General Hospital, and examines how self-efficacy and work discipline affect performance. The study employs a descriptive causal design with a quantitative approach. A total of 276 employees were selected using probability sampling. Data were collected via questionnaires and analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with Smart-PLS software. Results indicate that self-efficacy significantly and positively influences performance, and when combined with effective work discipline, performance improves further. Based on these findings, it is recommended that the hospital enhance self-efficacy and work discipline through mentoring, targeted training, performance awards, and rigorous adherence to work procedures supported by regular evaluation and feedback, ultimately aiming to improve service quality and overall employee performance.
