Abstract

Not all couples married for years in Sleman Regency possess a marriage certificate, as stated in Article 7 Paragraph 1 of the Compilation of Islamic Law (KHI). Various factors contribute to this, including lost certificates due to disasters, carelessness, or marriages conducted solely under religious law (nikah siri). Couples who have lost their marriage certificate can request a duplicate from the KUA where they were married, providing a cover letter from their village and a loss certificate from the police. For those whose marriages are unregistered, applying for itsbat nikah at the Sleman Religious Court is advised. This study aims to describe the process of granting itsbat nikah and address the challenges faced in the Sleman Religious Court. Employing a descriptive research design with a qualitative approach, data was collected through document analysis related to itsbat nikah and interviews with Sleman judges. The findings indicate that the application of Article 7 Paragraph (2) KHI in Sleman should align with the 2014 guidelines from the Supreme Court of Indonesia’s Directorate General of Religious Justice. The legal outcome of establishing itsbat nikah at PA Sleman ensures the validity of marriages without certificates under State Administrative Law.

Abstract

This study analyzes the influence of business owner characteristics, financial literacy, and financial inclusion on capital structure decisions and their implications for business growth in Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs). Using a quantitative approach, data were collected through questionnaires distributed to 208 MSME owners in the Jabodetabek area who are members of the Ilmukeuangan.com Alumni Community, selected through purposive sampling with criteria of having operated for at least one year. The research variables include entrepreneur characteristics, financial literacy, and financial inclusion as independent variables, capital structure as a mediating variable, and business growth as the dependent variable. Data analysis was conducted using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) through SmartPLS 3.0. The results show that the research model has moderate predictive strength with R-Square values of 0.571 for business growth and 0.565 for capital structure, and a Goodness of Fit (GoF) value of 0.594 indicating a robust model. Of the six direct effect hypotheses tested, four were accepted and two were rejected. Financial literacy (T-stat: 5.421) and financial inclusion (T-stat: 9.452) significantly influence capital structure, while entrepreneur characteristics do not have a significant effect. For business growth, entrepreneur characteristics (T-stat: 7.725) and financial inclusion (T-stat: 3.759) show significant direct effects, but capital structure does not significantly influence business growth. The mediation test results indicate that capital structure significantly mediates the relationship between financial literacy and financial inclusion on business growth, but does not mediate the relationship between entrepreneur characteristics and business growth.

Abstract

This research investigates the impact of a company's ownership structure on corporate social responsibility (CSR) disclosure, with the independent board of commissioners acting as a moderating variable. The study provides both theoretical and practical contributions by analyzing how foreign ownership and institutional ownership influence CSR disclosure through the lens of stakeholder theory and agency theory, with the independent board of commissioners as a moderating factor. A quantitative research approach is employed, utilizing secondary data. The study population consists of 30 consumer goods manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) from 2021 to 2023, resulting in a total of 90 company data points. The sample is selected using purposive sampling. Data analysis is conducted using the Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS), applying Multiple Linear Regression and Moderated Regression Analysis (MRA). The findings indicate that foreign ownership positively influences CSR disclosure, while institutional ownership also has a positive effect on CSR. However, the independent board of commissioners does not moderate the relationship between foreign ownership and CSR disclosure but does moderate the relationship between institutional ownership and CSR disclosure.

Abstract

Immigration intelligence plays a vital role in safeguarding Indonesia’s borders from the potential negative impacts of foreign nationals’ mobility, which can lead to violations and crimes that threaten national sovereignty. The increasing complexity of transnational crimes, such as human trafficking, terrorism, and illegal migration, highlights the need for robust intelligence measures to ensure national security. However, there is still limited research analyzing the strategic functions of immigration intelligence in addressing these evolving challenges. This study aims to examine the roles and functions of immigration intelligence in conducting investigations and securing borders through intelligence operations. The research employs a qualitative descriptive method, using a literature review and analysis of relevant reports, legal frameworks, and operational documents. The findings reveal that immigration intelligence is crucial in collecting, processing, and analyzing information across ideological, political, economic, social, cultural, defense, and security dimensions to anticipate potential threats. Its preventive role is also emphasized, particularly in early detection and risk mitigation. The implications of this study underscore the need for strengthening coordination among immigration authorities and security agencies, as well as enhancing the use of advanced technologies to improve the effectiveness of intelligence operations.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of the Net Stable Funding Ratio on the financial performance of banks listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in the 2018–2023 period. Financial performance is measured using two main indicators, namely Return on Assets and Return on Equity. The Net Stable Funding Ratio is one of the liquidity ratios applied under Basel III to improve the stability of long-term banking funding. This study uses a quantitative method with a simple linear regression approach to test the effect of the Net Stable Funding Ratio on bank profitability (Return on Assets and Return on Equity). The results showed that the Net Stable Funding Ratio has no significant effect on ROA or ROE of the sample banks. The low R-squared value in both models indicates that the independent variable (NSFR) explains only a small part of the variation in the dependent variables (ROA and ROE), so other factors may be more influential in determining the company's profitability. The results are expected to provide insights for investors, regulators, and policymakers in understanding the relationship between funding stability and bank profitability, as well as serve as a reference in designing a more sustainable and competitive banking strategy in the financial market.
