Abstract

This research aims to compare Active and Passive Investment Strategies on the Indonesian Stock Exchange for the 2013-2024 Using the Magic Formula Method introduced by Joel Greenblatt (2010), which is then optimized again using the Single Index Model. Magic formula is a simple stock selection strategy by sorting stocks based on Return on Capital (ROC) and Earning Yield (EY). The shares to be selected are included in the Kompas100 Index. The selected shares have also been listed on the stock exchange for a minimum of 18 months. Shares included in financial shares will be eliminated. The next step is to select 20 shares to be formed into a Portfolio based on the top ranking of the ROC and EY scores, these 20 shares will be optimized using the Single Index Model method. For active strategies, rebalancing will be carried out every year, while for passive strategies, buy and hold will be carried out. The results of this active strategy will be compared with passive strategies and IHSG. Portfolio measurement will be carried out in 4 ways, namely: return, Sharpe ratio, Treynor ratio and Jensen Alpha. The return from the optimized Magic Formula shows a value of 217.04%, higher than the original Magic Formula return of 43.43% and the passive strategy of 35.04% and the IHSG return of 47%, but the final research results of the portfolio show measurements based on return, ratio Sharpe, and Treynor ratios were not significantly different, being significantly different only from Jensen Alpha measurements.

This research is qualitative, using a phenomenological research approach. The data sources in this research use primary and secondary data sources. The primary data sources referred to are the chairman of the takmir and the missionary of the Thoyyibah Mosque, while the secondary data sources are data in the form of documents. The data analysis technique in this research uses the analysis model according to Miles and Huberman, namely data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The validity of the data in this research uses two types of triangulation, namely source triangulation and technique triangulation. The results of this research show that there are various kinds of religious activities carried out at the Thoyyibah Mosque, including routine recitations and community markets, while strengthening its activities by carrying out management functions including planning, organising, implementing, and supervising. The supporting factors for managing religious activities include funding sources, the strategic location of the mosque, community enthusiasm, and cooperation with mosque administrators. The inhibiting factors are the mosque's parking space, which is not spacious enough, and mosque youth, who do not contribute enough to participate in activities.

Abstract

Children with good dental health can experience optimal physical, mental and social development, but in reality 9 out of 10 Indonesian children experience dental caries. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the "I Can Brush My Teeth" singing and dancing program to increase 4 – 6 years old children’s toothbruhing knowledge. This research uses quantitative research method with a within-subjects quasi experimental pre-post design to measure the effectiveness of intervention using movement and song methods delivered through music video clips as a medium for learning children's knowledge regarding the frequency, duration, schedule and benefits of good toothbrushing, as well as providing children with an understanding of the importance of parental involvement. Post test results showed a significant increase in the average children's knowledge score using the non-parametric Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test comparison technique with a P value of 0.002 with a significance limit of <0.05. One week after post-test1 another post-test was done (post-test 2), and the increase of toothbrushing knowledge persists significantly with a P value of 1.000 with a significance limit of <0.05. Based on the results of the data analysis above, it can be concluded that "I Can Brush My Teeth" singing and dancing program is considered effective in increasing the knowledge of children aged 4 - 6 years about good tooth brushing. Further research evaluating the effect of parental involvement using singing and dancing programs on the level of knowledge about good toothbrushing behavior in children aged 4 - 6 years is considered necessary.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the prohibition on giving wages to foundation organs (founders and trustees) from an Islamic perspective, especially on the principles of justice. This research is included in the type of qualitative descriptive research (non-statistical) using the library research method (literature review) through a juridical-normative and conceptual approach. The results of the research show that from an Islamic perspective, the prohibition on giving salaries or wages to foundation organs, especially to foundation Trustees and Supervisors, can be said to be a form of injustice, where the management (with some limitations) is entitled to a salary, while the Trustees and Supervisors are not allowed to receive it. Therefore, when the administrators and related parties in the management of the foundation, including Trustees and Supervisors, work in accordance with a mutually agreed contract, agreement, or contract, then wages for performance must be paid fairly and transparently, according to the agreement and willingness of both parties.
