Abstract

Pendidikan merupakan salah satu komponen utama pembangunan manusia di abad ke-21. Di era Presiden Joko Widodo, transformasi neoliberal dalam pendidikan tinggi semakin masif, terutama sejak diberlakukannya kebijakan Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka oleh Menteri Nadiem Makarim. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meneliti dampak negatif Neoliberalisme pada institusi pendidikan tinggi di Indonesia dalam domain kebijakan, institusi, dan sumber daya manusia. Penelitian menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif untuk memberikan penjelasan yang mendalam tentang aspek-aspek dan dampak Neoliberalisme Pendidikan Tinggi dengan sumber data dari studi pustaka dan teknik analisis kualitatif. Peneliti berargumen bahwa Neoliberalisme telah menjadi ideologi hegemonik yang memengaruhi kebijakan nasional dengan penekanan pada produktivitas dan daya saing untuk mengejar keuntungan ekonomi. Neoliberalisme mempengaruhi staf pengajar dengan berbagai tantangan dan tugas-tugas administratif. Di sisi lain, mahasiswa berfungsi sebagai konsumen pendidikan demi keuntungan pribadi. Oleh karena itu, Neoliberalisme telah mengabaikan tujuan tradisional pendidikan—mencari kebenaran, keadilan, dan demokrasi—dengan mengurangi pendidikan menjadi sekadar instrumen pertumbuhan ekonomi.

Abstract

Indonesia is the countries with the largest palm oil producer in the world. Oil palm plants are one of the plantation crops that produce vegetable oil, which has become Indonesia's main and superior agricultural commodity. In the division of labor on plantations, there is still an imbalance between men and women. Women spend a lot of time in the garden and have to divide their time into housework. The dual roles experienced by women are very influential in the division of labor. This study presents the division of labor according to Harvard's division of labor. Women also work like men in oil palm plantations and women also play the role of housewives who take care of their husbands, children, and home. Meanwhile, men only work in industry, do not want to contribute to taking care of children and other household work, women do not get the same salary as men.

Abstract

The development of the Capital City of Nusantara (IKN) in East Kalimantan is one of the most ambitious projects in Indonesia's modern history. Through a Political Ecology approach, this paper highlights how power and political dynamics shape interactions between humans and the environment and influence policies and practices that impact the exploitation of natural resources. The research method used is descriptive qualitative, with data collection through literature study. The development of IKN is not only influenced by political decisions that often ignore environmental aspects but also by the constellation of government that tends to be authoritarian and unconstitutional. This is reflected in the process of drafting the IKN law, which invited various polemics and questioned its legality. In the end, IKN development has the potential to damage the environment and deepen social injustice due to political practices that are not inclusive and democratic.

Abstract

This article provides a summary of the literature review on the relationship between community, villages, gender, and social inclusion in community development. The researchers investigate how these factors interrelate and influence social inclusion. The article outlines the role of communities and villages in promoting social inclusion and how gender influences these dynamics. The study emphasizes the multifaceted nature of inclusivity in community development, including spatial, social, environmental, economic, and political dimensions. Attention is given to meaningful participation in decision-making processes and proposals for empowering marginalized groups. The research underscores the importance of social inclusion in sustainable urban development, particularly for addressing the needs of disadvantaged groups. It highlights the necessity for more inclusive community development policies and practices that prioritize meaningful participation, social inclusion, and equality.

Abstract

Education is important in equipping individuals with knowledge and skills that help them adjust to social life. School quality has a strong impact on student output. Schools with good and complete building conditions can improve schools to meet health and safety standards, which can increase student quality. Substandard physical environment is strongly associated with other behavioral problems with students such as lower student attendance leading to lower student scores. the purpose of this study was written to know the facilities and infrastructure, the school's efforts in implementing learning at SD Negeri 106833 Wonosari. The method used in is called qualitative. This paper focuses on learning tools that can help students maintain their education. This study investigated the relationship between school physical environment, learning tools, and student learning outcomes. The findings revealed the physical condition of schools and the availability of learning tools have a significant impact on student learning outcomes.

Abstract

Munculnya isu menghidupkan kembali Dewan Pertimbangan Agung (DPA) menjadi bahasan yang menarik serta pro dan kontra di kalangan pakar hukum tata negara. DPA merupakan lembaga pemerintahan yang bersifat konsultatif, yang bubar seiring dengan amandemen keempat Undang-Undang Dasar 1945. Penelitian ini membahas upaya menghidupkan kembali DPA tetapi tidak dari sisi politik melainkan dari sisi teknokratik. Dengan menggunakan metode kualitatif dan pendekatan historis diperoleh hasil bahwa upaya menghidupkan kembali DPA akan mengembalikan eksistensi lembaga penasihat pemerintahan yang kedudukannya sejajar dengan lembaga pemerintahan dan akan menjadi wadah bagi para teknokrat untuk memberikan nasihat pemerintahan pada posisi yang sejajar dengan pemerintahan tersebut.

Abstract

This research explores the role of effective communication in character education to enhance nationalism among students at SMP Swasta Islam Terpadu Jabal Noor. Utilizing a descriptive qualitative approach, data were collected through observations and in-depth interviews with the principal, vice principal, and homeroom teacher. The findings reveal that effective communication strategies, including lectures, group discussions, and the use of digital media, play a pivotal role in embedding nationalistic values within students. The study highlights that integrating digital tools in delivering character education makes learning more engaging and impactful for digital-native students. Despite challenges such as limited infrastructure and digital literacy, the approach effectively instills moral and civic virtues. This research emphasizes the need for innovative communication strategies in Islamic educational institutions to bridge religious values and nationalism, fostering a harmonious and unified generation prepared to navigate the complexities of modern society.

Abstract

Needs that are difficult to fulfill due to the lack of a husband's income lead women to enter the public sector, causing a phenomenon called the dual role of women. This research aims to explore how the dual role is experienced by working women in Kabanjahe District, Karo Regency, North Sumatra Province, and its role in fulfilling the hierarchy of needs by Abraham Maslow. The results of this study show that the majority of working women in Kabanjahe District focus on fulfilling physiological needs, which are the most basic needs in Abraham Maslow's hierarchy of needs. The majority of them find it difficult to fulfill other needs because the income earned is focused on fulfilling physiological needs. This phenomenon seems to support and align with Abraham Maslow's theory, that humans will not have time to fulfill other needs if their physiological needs have not been met.

Abstract

Penelitian ini menjelaskan tentang permasalahan dalam pelayanan pembuatan sertifikat tanah. Bagaimana kaitannya dengan Pelaksanaan Kebijakan/Program Pemerintah Pusat di daerah. Paradigma penelitian yang digunakan adalah Paradigma Konstruktivisme, dengan Metode Penelitian Kualitatif. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui wawancara mendalam, diskusi dengan beberapa informan dari Kota Medan (Kepala Kantor BPN Kota Medan, Kepala Bidang Pelayanan Pembuatan Sertifikat Tanah, Pegawai Pelayanan Pembuatan Sertifikat Tanah) dan masyarakat yang secara langsung telah dan sedang dalam proses pengurusan sertifikat tanah di Kantor BPN Kota Medan. Hasil penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan sebagai berikut: Pertama, pelaksanaan program pendaftaran tanah yang sistematis dan tuntas, program yang ditujukan kepada masyarakat untuk mempermudah pembuatan sertifikat tanah. Kedua, pelayanan pembuatan sertifikat tanah di BPN Kota Medan masih terkesan diskriminatif karena dilakukan oleh oknum yang tidak melaksanakan tugas dan fungsinya secara profesional. Ketiga, penyuluhan kepada masyarakat agar peka dalam mengurus sertifikat tanah masih minim.

Abstract

Artikel ini menganalisis proses politik dalam pembangunan jalan di kawasan Liang Melas Datas (LMD), Kabupaten Karo, pada tahun 2022-2023. Berbeda dari mekanisme perencanaan pembangunan yang umumnya mengikuti prosedur formal; proses politik yang melatarbelakangi pembangunan jalan di LMD menunjukkan pola yang khas yang melibatkan interaksi antara aspirasi politik masyarakat dengan respons pemerintah. Untuk memahami fenomena ini, artikel ini menggunakan konsep politik, pembangunan, serta teori politik pembangunan sebagai alat analisis utama. Artikel ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus, yang bertujuan menggali secara mendalam bagaimana dinamika politik pembangunan di LMD berlangsung. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pembangunan jalan di LMD bukan sekadar proyek infrastruktur, tetapi juga bagian dari dinamika politik yang lebih luas. Pembangunan jalan di LMD tidak terjadi di dalam ruang yang netral, melainkan merupakan hasil pertemuan antara aspirasi warga yang dimobilisasi melalui gerakan sosial yang digagas secara konsisten dengan kepentingan politik Joko Widodo dalam kerangka strateginya sebagai pemimpin populer.
