Abstract

Luwuk Village is a village located in Gunungsari district, Serang regency. Where in the village there is very little knowledge to equip themselves to avoid dangerous viruses, where in every house there are still many residents who do not provide masks and equipment to do 5M in the form of preventing the covid 19 virus, therefore we as active students of KKM group 26 universirtas bina bangsa, conduct counseling and socialization to intensify the spread of covid 19 in the village. Currently, we are still facing challenges that require adapting to the Corona Virus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic situation. Corona Virus Disease-19 is a virus that attacks the respiratory system and can cause mild disorders of the respiratory system, severe lung infections, and even death. Covid-19 can be transmitted from human to human through droplets from patients who sneeze or cough and close contact with sufferers or contact with contaminated surfaces and objects. Covid-19 enters the body through the eyes, nose, and mouth through hands contaminated with the virus. From there, we have held the distribution of masks and hand sanitizers to anticipate the spread of the COVID-19 virus, the community has an important role in breaking the chain of transmission of COVID-19 so as not to cause new sources of transmission / clusters in places where there is movement of people, interaction between people and gathering of many people. People must be able to resume their activities in the COVID-19 pandemic situation by adapting to new habits that are healthier, cleaner, and more obedient, which are implemented by all components in the community and empower all existing resources. The role of the community to be able to break the chain of transmission of COVID-19 (risk of contracting and transmitting) must be carried out by implementing health protocols through individual health protection and public health protection

Abstract

Work accident is an event related to work that can cause injury or illness, and can even cause death. From the data obtained in the Anrong Appaka Village, as many as 4.6% had experienced work injuries, 3.3% had experienced work accidents, and 8.1% had experienced work-related health problems and most of these occurred in residents who worked as conventional motorcycle taxi drivers or bumped into them. In overcoming this problem, interventions are carried out in preventing accidents while driving. The activity was carried out by providing counseling accompanied by distribution of pocket books on accident prevention while driving. This activity was carried out in the RW 1-4 area of ​​Anrong Appaka Village. This counseling is carried out by visiting conventional or bentor motorcycle taxi drivers. The method used is the lecture and discussion method with pocket book educational media. This activity was preceded and ended with a pre test and post test. At the end of the activity, pocket books were distributed related to accident prevention while driving and personal protective equipment (PPE) in the form of masks and gloves. The results of this activity indicate that there is an increase in the knowledge of bump drivers related to accident prevention while driving

Abstract

Students of SMK Negeri 1 Bawen in gaining knowledge about postharvest handling and horticultural preparations are only given in general for horticultural crops and practicum given only certain fruits, so that postharvest handling and purple sweet potato preparations have not been given specifically. This community service activity aims to: Provide information to the community, especially at SMK Negeri 1 Bawen Semarang Regency, about the importance of handling purple sweet potato postharvest and how to process it and provide skills in processing purple sweet potatoes into purple rice and purple sweet potato ice cream. The target audience in community service is students of SMK Negeri 1 Bawen Semarang Regency who are in accordance with the Department of Agricultural Product Technology.  The results of the implementation showed that the target was students of SMK Negeri 1 Bawen increased their knowledge and understanding of the importance of post-harvest handling and tomato processing with practice. This is based on questions and answers, interviews and questionnaires distributed before and after the activity. The evaluation was carried out using questionnaires before and after the implementation given to 70 participants who participated. The results of the evaluation show that: a. Before the implementation of the activity, 80% of participants had never received counseling on post-harvest handling, b. Before the implementation 75% did not know about the processing of purple sweet potatoes and 25% knew, after the implementation 85% knew and 20.67% knew very much about the processing of purple sweet potatoes, c. 100% of participants did not know about processing purple sweet potatoes into purple rice and after counseling 3.33% did not know, 96.67% knew and 10% knew very well, d. 100% of extension participants did not know how to process purple sweet potatoes into ice cream and after counseling 86.67% knew and 13.33% knew how to process purple sweet potato becomes ice cream, e. Knowledge of the benefits of purple sweet potatoes of extension participants before the activity 66.7% did not know, 33.33% knew and 6.67% knew very well, and after the activity 73.33% knew and 26.66% knew very well, and f. Abstract

Indonesia's geographical conditions are included in natural disaster-prone areas. Indonesia itself is located in the Ring of Fire on Pacific Rims, which often results in earthquakes, landslides, volcanic eruptions, and tsunamis. The Ring of Fire on Pacific Rims itself is home to active volcanoes in the world and about 90% of the places where earthquakes occur. About 13% of the total number of volcanoes in the world are in Indonesia, including 500 volcanoes with inactive status, and 129 volcanoes with active status, have a large enough eruption potential to reach 60% of the number of volcanoes scattered, besides having a horseshoe-like shape and can cover an area of 40,000 km (Gosal et al., 2018). Natural disasters that occur certainly have an impact on people's homes which are also destroyed. Many people were killed, injured, and lost their homes.The implementation of this community service received a grant from the Muhammadiyah Disaster Management Center (MDMC) PP Muhammadiyah which will be distributed to victims of natural disasters in one of the earthquake disaster locations in Cianjur, by distributing logistics this community service activity is designed so that Lecturers of Muhammadiyah A.R Fachruddin University Tangerang can carry out the obligations of the Chess Dharma of Higher Education and can help the Cianjur community in overcoming trauma after the earthquake natural disaster in November 2022

Abstract

English subject is one of important subjects in Indonesian national curriculum, including the boarding school curriculum. As in boarding school curriculum, the students are obligated to speak in foreign language (English or Arabic) in their daily routine. Because Islamic boarding school curriculums are mostly written and spoken in Arabic, sometimes the students feel unwillingly to study English. The purpose of this study is to improve the students’ interest in learning English in Insan Qurani Islamic boarding school. This activity is held by giving the material and giving the examples of using English and its importance in daily life. The result of this activity shows the improvement of students’ interest in learning English. It can be seen from their enthusiasm and participate during the activity and also reading the text asked by facilitator

Abstract

Based on the results of observations made, information was obtained that teachers were less able to carry out a learning process that was in accordance with the demands of current developments in accordance with curriculum progress. Education plays a role not only as a means of transferring knowledge, but more broadly as an acculturator. The importance of innovation in learning in schools emphasizes the need for a responsive approach to local cultural riches and values. The local wisdom approach emerges as a promising paradigm, creating space for innovation to have a positive impact on learning activities. The lack of empowerment of local wisdom in teaching and learning activities by teachers in schools can cause a separation between curriculum content and students' daily lives. This can result in low student interest and motivation to learn. The aim of this community service activity is to offer innovative learning solutions through a local wisdom approach in the context of learning activities. This activity is carried out by providing socialization and assistance to physics teachers in a creative way by integrating local wisdom culture with science, so that it can have a positive impact on the learning process at school. It is hoped that innovative learning based on local wisdom will create an interesting learning environment and support children's development by enriching their experience of local wisdom values and traditions

Abstract

The aim of this research is to analyze and examine how the traders survive and since when do second-hand goods traders gather in the low alleys to sell used goods that are not affected by online shops that are rife in the era of modernization and globalization. Using a descriptive qualitative method with data collection techniques, observation, interviews, and documentation. While the theory that the researcher uses is the theory of Pierre Felix Bourdieu with the theory of social practice which consists of Habitus, Arena and Capital. The results of this study show that this business has been around for decades, where the low alley located in front of ethnic Chinese shops is used as a place to sell by spreading merchandise on mats or tarpaulins, buyers and sellers transact while squatting or sitting on the floor. sidewalk. based on primary data sources collected from the first source (traders) through questionnaires and direct interviews. Researchers get the result that traders of used goods that are still suitable for use are sought after by consumers for various reasons including 1. Prices are very affordable, 2. Goods are still usable, 3. Goods according to needs, 4. Fun interactions, 5. Inter-ethnic assimilation, 6. There is historical value. The low alley has existed since the Dutch Colonial era. Abstract

Abstract

Panjang Island, an island in the Banten Strait archipelago which is located in Serang Regency, Banten Province has the potential for anchovy commodity. This commodity is predicted to be able to increase the income of people in Panjang Island. This study aims to study the potential of fishery resources in Pulo Panjang Village, especially anchovies. Primary data and information collected based on observation, Focus Group Discussion (FGD) with the residents of Pulo Panjang, and village officials and secondary data collection. Data were analyzed in a descriptive narrative so as to provide information about the potential for anchovy production, the average income of anchovies with absorption of human resources and fishery resources with added value of anchovy commodities. The results showed that the area of utilization of anchovy production provides better economic gains, an increase in economic value

Abstract

This activity seeks to resolve problems that occur in pregnant women during the Covid-19 pandemic in order to fulfill the right to comfort and health in the psychological aspect, especially at the level of anxiety. The program that will be carried out is to empower pregnant women, namely providing counseling through a network or online. The counseling was carried out using the WhatsApp group social media, with the hope of fostering independence in overcoming the anxiety felt, both their own anxiety and anxiety felt by other pregnant women. The result is that pregnant women participate actively and listen well and there is a decrease in symptoms of anxiety for pregnant women before and after being given counseling using the Whatsapp group as peer health education
