Abstract

Abstract

Sukajadi Village, Carita Sub-district, Pandeglang Regency, has great potential in the development of processed seaweed products. With the availability of abundant raw materials and high public interest in local processed products, the development of crispy seaweed chips can be one of the community's economic empowerment efforts. The PKK group as one of the active community organisations in the village has an important role in this effort. Through proper assistance, PKK groups can increase production capacity, produce quality products, and develop sustainable businesses. Objectives of Assistance Improving knowledge and skills Improving the PKK group's knowledge of seaweed processing techniques into quality crispy chips. Assist PKK groups to produce crispy seaweed chips with good flavour, crunchy texture, and attractive appearance.

Abstract

KKM UNIBA Group 63 provided assistance in the design and development of packaging for pindang fish crackers in Sukajadi Village, Carita District, Pandeglang Regency as part of efforts to empower the local community economy with a focus on increasing the added value of local products. Pindang fish crackers, as one of the leading products from the village, has a wide market potential, but the main challenge faced is the packaging design that is less attractive and not in accordance with modern marketing standards. This service aims to provide support in terms of packaging design and development of pindang fish crackers to increase market attractiveness and expand distribution reach. The methods used include packaging design needs analysis, packaging design training, and new packaging implementation. The training process involved understanding the design concept, selecting appropriate packaging materials, and printing techniques. The results of the mentoring showed that the new packaging design successfully increased the visual appeal of the product, clarified product information, and improved quality perception in the eyes of consumers. The newly designed packaging also provides better protection to the product during the distribution process. With the attractive and functional packaging, sales of pindang fish crackers have increased significantly, and the product has successfully entered a wider market both at the local and regional levels.

Abstract

KKM UNIBA Group 63 conducted a mentoring program for the community of Sukajadi Village, Carita District, in selling pindang fish crackers on the Shopee marketplace to improve digital skills, expand market reach, and increase community income through online marketing. Sukajadi Village is famous for the production of quality pindang fish crackers, but the sales of these products are still limited to the local market due to lack of access and knowledge about digital marketing. The assistance was carried out through several stages, namely training on the use of the Shopee platform, creating a seller account, developing a digital marketing strategy, and optimizing product listings. The results of this mentoring showed a significant increase in the community's knowledge and skills regarding online sales. The community is able to create and manage an online store on Shopee, utilize the available features to increase product visibility, and organize effective promotional strategies. Sales of pindang fish crackers through Shopee increased significantly, as evidenced by the increase in the number of orders and revenue. In addition, the program also has a positive impact on the economic empowerment of the village community, with more community members involved in the production process and product sales.

Abstract

The cyber crime prevention counseling for social media users in Sukajadi Village, Carita Subdistrict, aims to increase community awareness and knowledge about the threat of cyber crime and ways to protect themselves when using social media. Given the increasing use of social media among the village community, especially among teenagers and youth, the risk of being exposed to cyber crime attacks such as online fraud, account hacking, and spreading false information is higher. This extension program was implemented through a series of activities such as seminars, group discussions, and case simulations involving various layers of society, including youth, parents, and village officials. The results showed a significant increase in the community's understanding of the types of cybercrime and preventive measures that can be taken to avoid them. More than 80% of participants were able to identify signs of online fraud and take preventive measures such as setting account privacy and using strong passwords. In addition, the counseling also succeeded in building collective awareness on the importance of maintaining ethics in interacting on social media and reporting suspicious actions to the authorities.

Abstract

Services to the community based on the principles of governance refer to prioritizing the general public, meaning that every service that the community wants should not be linked to personal affairs must be professionalism at work, rights and obligations are a guarantee of the realization of the legal certainty of service providers, togetherness of the general public regardless of customs, race, ethnicity, language, religion, class, gender, and economic status, the balance of rights and obligations of the community is to comply with the rules that have been agreed upon together. To meet the needs of the community for administration, it has been provided by Purwakarta sub-district employees who are ready to provide guidance and direction to their citizens in meeting administrative needs to make identity cards, certificates of incapacity, marriage cover letters, business premises licenses, submitting land certificates, permits to install billboards and many more administrative activities in the Purwakarta sub-district of Cilegon city have a motto of excellent service is our priority and we are servants of the state serving the community.

Abstract

KKM Group 63 Sukajadi Village, Carita Sub-district, Pandeglang Regency socialises proper hand washing in an effort to prevent diarrhoea, a health problem that often occurs, especially during the rainy season. This service aims to analyse the impact of the socialisation of good and correct hand washing on students of SDN 1 Sukajadi in an effort to prevent diarrhoeal diseases. The method used is a participatory approach by providing education, demonstration, and observation of student hand washing behaviour before and after socialisation. The results showed a significant increase in knowledge and handwashing practices in students after socialisation. This indicates that socialisation is an effective intervention to improve clean and healthy living behaviour and prevent diarrhoea among students.

Abstract

The bureaucracy has full authority in the management of government budgets and the delivery of public services. Bureaucratic power can lead to abuse of power and corruption in government activities. Lord Epton sad "power tends to corrupt, absolute power corrupts absolutely". The statement illustrates that government power has the opportunity to become corrupt. Corruption is the most serious problem not only in developing countries but also in developed countries. There are many strategies to fight it. Corruption has been successfully proven by experts and practitioners around the world. Today, there are three main approaches to fighting corruption. First, the legal approach that emphasizes the development of national laws through political decisions and emphasizes law enforcement that upholds the laws of the country. Second, the moral approach, which emphasizes efforts to persuade people not to do wrong and avoid abuse of power with self-awareness. Third, the management system approach emphasizes the development of a management system based on transparency and accountability. Abstract

The case of not achieving the amount of community participation in the 2020 elections in Serang Regency in accordance with the planned target of 75% has become a concern for election organizers. To overcome this case, one of them is by involving the community as subjects in political activities and can utilize the role of the media as a means of increasing political participation. The purpose of this community service is to provide an understanding of the role of the media and political participation. While the method used is Participatory Action Research (PAR), which provides information through seminar activities and two-way question and answer discussions about the role and impact of the media and types of political participation. The results of these activities are that the community is less aware of the role of the media as a means to increase political participation, a source of knowledge information and as a means of criticism, suggestions and responses. Also, participation is not only as an object but also as a subject of change. On this basis, the government and other stakeholders need to develop a sustainable political education program to increase awareness of political participation and form social groups concerned with democracy.Kasus tidak tercapainya jumlah partisipasi Masyarakat pada Pemilihan Tahun 2020 di Kabupaten Serang sesuai dengan target yang direncanakan yakni 75%, menjadi peerhatian penyelenggara pemilu. Untuk mengatasi kasus tersebut salah satunya dengan pelibatan Masyarakat sebagai subyek dalam kegiatan politik serta dapat memanfaatkan peran media sebagai sarana meningkatkan partisipasi poltik. Adapun tujuan pengabdian kepada Masyarakat ini adalah memberikan pemahaman perihal peran media dan partisipasi politik. Sedangkan metode yang digunakan adalah Participatory Action Research (PAR), yakni memberikan informasi melalui kegiatan seminar serta diskusi tanya jawab secara dua arah tentang peran dan dampak media serta jenis partisipasi politik. Hasil dari kegiatan tersebut yakni Masyarakat kurang menyadari peran media sebagai sarana untuk meningkatkan partisipasi politik, sumber informasi pengetahuan serta sebagai sarana kritik, saran dan tanggapan. Pun partisipasi tidak hanya sebagai obyek namun juga sebagai subyek perubahan. Atas dasar demikian, pemerintah serta stakeholder lainnya perlu menyusun program Pendidikan politik secara berkelanjutan untuk meningkatkan kesadaran partisipasi politik serta membentuk kelompok sosial peduli demokrasi.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to analyze and examine how the traders survive and since when do second-hand goods traders gather in the low alleys to sell used goods that are not affected by online shops that are rife in the era of modernization and globalization. Using a descriptive qualitative method with data collection techniques, observation, interviews, and documentation. While the theory that the researcher uses is the theory of Pierre Felix Bourdieu with the theory of social practice which consists of Habitus, Arena and Capital. The results of this study show that this business has been around for decades, where the low alley located in front of ethnic Chinese shops is used as a place to sell by spreading merchandise on mats or tarpaulins, buyers and sellers transact while squatting or sitting on the floor. sidewalk. based on primary data sources collected from the first source (traders) through questionnaires and direct interviews. Researchers get the result that traders of used goods that are still suitable for use are sought after by consumers for various reasons including 1. Prices are very affordable, 2. Goods are still usable, 3. Goods according to needs, 4. Fun interactions, 5. Inter-ethnic assimilation, 6. There is historical value. The low alley has existed since the Dutch Colonial era.
