Abstract

The Ulama network is a journey to seek knowledge that is very closely related to scientific traditions. This tradition originates from the scientific journey of the companions after the death of the Prophet to collect and record hadith. Developments seen from scientific journeys not only provided a collection of the Prophet's Hadith, but also encouraged a "network" of the Prophet's companions who took part in recording, memorizing and recording hadiths. The need for a modern Muhammadiyah Islamic renewal movement in facing challenges in the era of globalization and advances in science and technology. The method used is descriptive analytical method with a historical approach, as a problem study methodology framework that aims to look at all problems in the past. This approach makes it easy to understand the reasons that led to the emergence of the modern Muhammadiyah Islamic thought movement in Indonesia

Abstract

Thissis doneebecause we cannot avoid that we encounter many public schoolssinnoneeclasssconsistinggoff very diverse students, some with different ethnicities, languages, ethnicities, and so on. The purpose of this study is to describe the form of multicultural education in Islamic religious education materials and also how the value of what has been implemented into Islamic religious education materials at Quba Middle School Sorong City. This study uses qualitative data. Research data obtained through observation, interviews, and documentation. The data analysis technique used is content analysis and qualitative descriptive, which aims to describe the situation or want to know a certain phenomenon. The results showed that the Quba Middle School in Sorong City had implemented multicultural education in Islamic education materials. The implementation is through the addition of themes or incorporating multicultural values in Islamic religious education materials that already exist at the Quba Junior High School in Sorong City, and the teaching is carried out in a thorough and in-depth way

Abstract

The main objective of this research is explore the crucial role that modern pesantren plays in addressing the challenges related to religious moderation. Additionally, this study aims to highlight how modern pesantren can contribute positively to the promotion of religious moderation and strengthening tolerance among followers of different religions. By becoming a hub for moderate religious education and understanding, modern pesantren can guide individuals on simplicity, diversity, and peace within their religion. The integration of social, economic, and political aspects in the education provided by modern pesantren can also help students develop an appreciation for tolerance and respect for differences, leading to a more harmonious society. Modern pesantren can also nurture critical and moderate values among students, thereby creating a quality young generation that can make positive contributions to society. Collaboration between modern pesantren and other organizations, such as the government and civil society, can enhance awareness of the significance of harmony and tolerance among followers of different religions. In summary, modern pesantren plays a crucial role in tackling the challenges of religious moderation and can foster a tolerant and reconciled society through its emphasis on moderate and holistic religious learning and collaboration with others

Abstract

Character education in a place of study must involve all indicators (educational actors), including parts of education itself, namely teaching content, study procedures and assessment, management or administration of teaching. Indonesia seems to have lost local wisdom that has built character for centuries, such as fights between students and acts of corruption in all regions and institutions. Public lies that have become a habit do not have legal certainty because our laws can be bought and sold, even this country lacks figures who can be concrete models for society to emulate. Public concern for the development of national character is also a concern of the government. To improve national character education, various investments have been made in various places and various government agencies, especially in various units of the Ministry of Education. Development work is related to various levels and educational pathways, but not yet comprehensive. The community's desire and the government's concern for national character education then accumulates in the government's cultural and national character education policies and becomes one of the government's flagship programs for at least the next 5 (five) years. The application of Indonesian character education is not independent, but integrated with existing teaching by incorporating components of Indonesian character and culture. Indonesian education which increases technical knowledge based on the components of Pancasila, because it is not appropriate, only emphasizes one point of view of knowledge and values. Abstract

Indonesia has a unique diversity where there are various kinds of ethnicity, language, race, nation and religion. Religious moderation has several opinions according to experts and. Viewed from the opinion according to Abdurahman Mas'ud, this moderation can mean placing a balance above faith, morals and morals, both viewing other people as individuals, as well as above state institutions. Moderation of religion within the framework of Islam is reflected in all aspects of Islamic teachings themselves. Abstract

The purpose of study was to reveal the implementation of religious moderation at Darussalam Al-Bantani Islamic Boarding School, Sukamaju Village, Bantan District, Bengkalis Regency. This research is a qualitative descriptive research using library research. The results of the study stated that the Al-Bantani Islamic boarding school is a salafiyah Islamic boarding school so that it focuses on learning on the yellow books which contain aspects of faith, morals, and sharia. The implementation of religious moderation in Islamic boarding schools is through collaboration between the Islamic boarding school learning curriculum and the general curriculum required by the government. In this pesantren there is also a collaboration of pesantren activities that integrates with socio-culture such as yasinan, barzanji, istighasah, muhadarah, and sorogan. There are also activities that integrate with the development of globalization such as gardening skills and activities that integrate with the interests/talents of the students such as self-defense, scouting and hadroh. In addition, the application of religious moderation can also be seen from the behavior displayed by educators and kiai in Islamic boarding schools so that it can be reflected by the students

Abstract

The purpose of this article is to provide an understanding of the importance of moderate attitudes in maintaining religious diversity in Indonesia and to explain the important role of Islamic boarding schools in strengthening religious moderation. Islamic boarding schools play an important role in strengthening religious moderation by maintaining the diversity of their students, providing moderate and balanced religious education, teaching tolerance values, and organizing activities that strengthen tolerance and harmony among people of different religions. By doing so, it is expected that Islamic boarding schools can become a safe and comfortable place for students from various religious backgrounds, and can contribute to strengthening religious moderation in society as a whole

Abstract

The research method used is a qualitative method with observation and interview techniques with selected informants with a purposive sample. The results of the study show that safar bathing is a tradition that is still maintained by the local community today as a sign of gratitude for the smooth running of daily activities and as an opportunity to purify oneself spiritually. Safar bathing procedures include the preparation of materials, and ceremonies, as well as handing over the yellow rice to the villagers. Bathing is done alternately with water taken from water sources that are considered sacred. Abstract

Local wisdom in the kenduri culture of Bengkalis Island is one of the rich and highly valuable cultural heritages. This research aims to identify the local wisdom values of the kenduri culture in Bengkalis Island from both religious and sociological aspects. This research uses a qualitative approach with observation, interview, and literature study methods. The results show that the kenduri culture in Bengkalis Island has high local wisdom values in the religious aspect through fulfilling the rules of religion in conducting traditional events. Meanwhile, in the sociological aspect, the kenduri culture in Bengkalis Island shows local wisdom in strengthening social relationships among community members, enhancing family and brotherhood bonds, and reinforcing social values such as mutual cooperation and togetherness in the community. However, the kenduri culture in Bengkalis Island also faces challenges in its development in modern times. To preserve and maintain the local wisdom values of the kenduri culture in Bengkalis Island, comprehensive preservation efforts involving all levels of society are necessary

Abstract

Learning strategies are very useful for educators and students in learning procedures. For educators, this learning strategy serves as the basis and reference for regular activities according to the system for carrying out learning. Tolerance is an attitude and activity that respects differences, ethnicity, religion, attitudes, opinions and activities of other people besides oneself. In a society based on Pancasila, especially the first precept, piety to God is absolute according to all religions and beliefs. All religions respect people, so all religious people must respect each other. By this rule harmony is promoted between representatives of different religions. The notion that education is a means and tool for imparting knowledge not only reduces the true meaning and purpose of education, but also focuses students to create a future. True education is the development and development of human potential to have character, integrity, and meaningful competence in life. The educational model in Islamic boarding schools is regulated by a strict schedule, program of activities, procedures and strict rules. Santri are gathered in a centralized and monolithic environment (dormitory), although with rules from top to bottom. Islamic boarding schools have become a separate identity for Islamic educational institutions in Indonesia. In fact, even though they are heterogeneous in terms of ethnicity, culture and language, they can live a peaceful life and have strong emotional attitudes in maintaining loyalty and solidarity.
