Abstract

Rural areas are indicated to be still difficult to reach by 4G signals due to diverse topographical conditions and uneven landscapes, especially hilly areas that weaken the signal reception level in this region. To make the 4G signal accessible in this area, a repeater in the form of an antenna is needed to strengthen the signal. In this study, a yagi antenna is designed with three reflector elements at a working frequency of 1800 Mhz 4G LTE, expected to produce a minimum gain of 12 dBi and a more focused antenna radiation to strengthen the 4G signal in rural areas. The antenna design was simulated using CST Studio Suite software, with optimized simulation results yielding a return loss of -22 dB, VSWR 1.167, and gain 12.40 dBi. From the measurements obtained, the yagi antenna with three reflector elements works well at a frequency of 1800 Mhz, with a return loss of -34.77 dB, VSWR 1.065, gain 12.96 dBi, and unidirectional radiation. With the optimal antenna parameters and the addition of three reflector elements, it's possible to increase the gain value, even though the gain increase isn't substantial, and it narrows the HPBW (Half Power BeamWidth) value. Moreover, testing the yagi antenna at 3 different distances demonstrated that the resulting gain value can enhance 4G signal speed in rural areas

Abstract

To monitor quality improvement and student learning outcomes, schools must adopt a Minimum Competency Assessment (MCA). The Minimal Competence Assessment consists of two sub-tests: literacy and numeracy. This is in accordance with the provisions of the Indonesian Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology in order to improve the quality of learning and student learning outcomes. The existing test method has limits with school resources that cannot satisfy the quota of pupils who can utilize the program jointly. In addition, the existing system is incapable of displaying student grades because the evaluation is a cumulative score for the whole student body. Hence, the school constructed a web service-based application utilizing the Representational State Transfer approaches so that it could independently administer complete numeracy and literacy assessments to its pupils, allowing schools to track their students' numeracy and literacy improvement. The system is constructed utilizing two distinct platforms, namely web-based apps and mobile applications based on Android. Web-based application was developed for admin and teachers while mobile application was developed for students. The findings of this study's testing indicated that the web service application performed as predicted. According to the findings of the questionnaires given to evaluate the application's usability using the Nielsen technique, teachers were happy with the application's Learnability, Memorability, Efficiency, Errors, and Satisfaction. The majority of instructors are satisfied with the implementation of this Minimum Competence Application, according to the survey findings.

Abstract

The real estate industry serves as a catch-all for addressing a nation's housing and infrastructural needs. It significantly improves five sub-divisions, including dwellings, infrastructure, shopping, lodging, and business. As a common practice across the nation, the real estate industry lacked professionalism, uniformity, and consumer protection. A new era in the Indian real estate industry has been assured with the introduction of the Real Estate Regulator Bill (RERA), which was approved by the Indian Parliament in March 2016. This measure, which was approved by the Indian parliament, creates a more open, accountable, and reliable framework for the construction industry, with a primary focus on the real estate market for selling and buying homes. The newly implemented Goods and Services Tax (GST) also introduced tremendous changes in the Real Estate Market. This made Real Estate Market slow in its Initial Stages which left Builders and Contractors to stay away from the Business for a particular period of time, to confront themselves with the new laws and the new taxation system

Abstract

Technology has become an integral part of society, substantially contributing to its many facets. With the advent of technology, media entrepreneurship in Malaysia has expanded significantly. The younger generation, specifically Generation Z, relies heavily on social media for communication, information inquiry, and online purchasing and selling. This change has had a significant impact on the Malaysian field of technopreneurship. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to examine the relationship between the factors that influence Generation Z's use of social media for business and their propensity to engage in technopreneurship. This is a quantitative study that uses a questionnaire to collect demographic information, factors influencing Generation Z to use social media for business, and their motivations or aspirations to partake in technopreneurship activities. 280 respondents from Generation Z technopreneurs were selected through random sampling. The software Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS) was used to perform a descriptive analysis of the obtained data. According to the study's findings, each factor has a significant relationship with the motivation to engage in technopreneurship

Abstract

A room can be categorised as comfortable or not depending on the temperature and humidity of the air in the room. In order for the room temperature to be maintained, an Air Conditioner (AC) is needed. In the AC there is refrigerant as the most important component that functions to provide cool and cold effects in the room. However, refrigerant leakage in AC is one of the causes of greenhouse emissions that have an impact on climate change. In order to reduce the emissions caused by AC usage, many researchers are utilising Peltier as a device designed to replace the AC cooling system. In order for TEC to work optimally when cooling the air in the room, it is necessary to design a combination system of Portable Air Conditioner (AC) cooling using TEC and Arduino Uno-based water cooler. The working principle of designing a portable Air Conditioner cooling combination system using TEC and water cooler requires a temperature set point value in the water cooler system, where the Arduino is given a set point temperature range on the heatsink. The temperature on the heatsink affects the pump speed. if the higher the temperature on the heatsink read by the DS18B20 temperature sensor, the pump will work quickly to cool the heatsink side. The temperature on the heatsink, pump speed, and the height of the water cooler in the tub are displayed on the LCD. Before assembling and arranging the components that will be used in the portable Air Conditioner cooling combination system using TEC and water cooler, the design flow of the working principle and tool design of the portable Air Conditioner cooling combination system is needed. After the components are assembled and arranged, the test results are obtained with the conclusion that the TEC with the water cooler method is better at cooling a room measuring 1x1 metre than the water cooler method.

Abstract

The availability of crude oil as a raw material for vehicle fuel is dwindling and limited in nature. One of the renewable energies worth developing is bioethanol, which is one of the alternative fuels that can be used as a biofuel and can be processed from plants containing starch and glucose. In this research, the entire bioethanol identification system in a sugar cane drip distillation apparatus was examined. The distillation process using MQ3 and MQ135 sensors resulted in an alcohol percentage of 42% and 46%. The maximum temperature measured by a thermocouple during distillation was 88°C, while the minimum temperature recorded was 87°C. This study utilized a backpropagation artificial neural network method to identify the detected bioethanol. The architecture of the artificial neural network included 2 input nodes, 4 neuron nodes, and 2 output nodes. The training and testing results showed that the formed backpropagation was able to identify and differentiate the detection of bioethanol according to the given inputs with a success rate of 88.86% for detected bioethanol and 94.86% for undetected bioethanol..
