Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of customer reviews and testimonials on Instagram and WhatsApp in building consumer trust toward YOERI Make-Up services. The study employed a descriptive qualitative approach using purposive sampling techniques. The research participants consisted of 30 customers who had used YOERI Make-Up services. Data were collected through observation, semi-structured interviews, and documentation, and were analyzed using the Miles and Huberman interactive analysis model, including data condensation, data display, and conclusion drawing. The findings indicate that customer reviews and testimonials play a significant role in shaping consumer trust before making purchasing decisions. The most trusted forms of reviews include videos of make-up results, before-after photos, customer documentation, and screenshots of customer conversations because they are perceived as more authentic and difficult to manipulate. Instagram functions as a visual platform for displaying portfolios, reviews, and testimonials, while WhatsApp Business serves as a direct communication medium that enhances consumer convenience and trust. The study further reveals that the higher the level of consumer trust established through reviews and testimonials, the greater the likelihood that consumers will choose YOERI Make-Up services. Therefore, customer reviews and testimonials represent effective digital marketing strategies for strengthening consumer trust.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze service quality at Citra Sundari Hospital by comparing patients’ expectations and perceptions using the SERVQUAL method. The research employed a descriptive quantitative approach using a questionnaire consisting of 24 statements (P1–P24) covering the dimensions of tangible, reliability, responsiveness, assurance, and empathy. Data were analyzed using SPSS to obtain descriptive statistics and gap values between expectation and perception variables. The results showed that the average expectation scores ranged from 3.80 to 3.93, while the perception scores ranged from 3.66 to 3.90. Most indicators showed negative gaps, indicating that the services received by patients had not fully met their expectations, although overall service quality was categorized as good. The largest gaps were found in indicators P8 and P23 with a value of -0.20, while indicators P11 and P12 showed positive gaps. These findings indicate the need for service quality improvement, particularly in aspects with the largest gaps, in order to optimize patient satisfaction.

Abstract

The rapid advancement of technology in the Industry 4.0 era has encouraged manufacturing companies to undergo digital transformation toward Smart Factory systems. A Smart Factory is a manufacturing system that integrates advanced technologies, data, and automation to create more efficient, precise, and intelligent production processes. However, the successful implementation of a Smart Factory depends not only on the readiness of technological infrastructure but also on users' acceptance and actual usage behavior toward the system. This study aims to analyze the factors influencing user acceptance and actual use of a Smart Factory system in a railway manufacturing company. The research integrates two widely recognized theoretical frameworks, namely the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) and the Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology (UTAUT). The integrated model is employed to examine the relationships among perceived ease of use, perceived usefulness, performance expectancy, effort expectancy, social influence, and facilitating conditions, as well as their effects on behavioral intention and actual system use. This study adopts a quantitative explanatory research design. Data were collected exclusively through a structured questionnaire. All research variables were measured using a five-point Likert scale and analyzed using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) to evaluate both the measurement model and the structural relationships among the constructs.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of user reviews, digital customer service quality, and social media promotions on gold investment interest (e-gold BSI) in Generation Z. The study uses a quantitative approach with a causal design. The research sample consisted of 100 respondents selected using a purposive sampling technique. The analytical method used is descriptive analysis and multiple linear regression with the help of SPSS. The results of the study indicate that simultaneously user reviews, digital customer service quality, and social media promotions have a significant effect on gold investment interest (e-gold BSI) in Generation Z. This is proven by the results of the F test with a significance value of 0.000 <0.05 and a calculated F value of 169.364. Partially, user reviews have a positive and significant effect on investment interest with a significance value of 0.005 <0.05 and a calculated t of 2.898 > t table 1.661. The social media promotion variable also had a positive and significant effect, with a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05 and a calculated t-value of 5.756 > t-table value of 1.661. Meanwhile, the quality of digital customer service did not significantly influence gold investment interest, with a significance value of 0.250 > 0.05 and a calculated t-value of 1.158 < t-table value of 1.661. The Adjusted R-square value of 0.836 indicates that 83.6% of the variation in gold investment interest can be explained by the three independent variables in this study.

Abstract

This study estimates the dynamics of money demand in Indonesia by integrating inflation, interest rates, and electronic money (e-money). Utilizing the Error Correction Model (ECM), this research analyzes both long-run and short-run dynamics, emphasizing the role of digitalization. The results indicate that in the long run, inflation, interest rates, and e-money exert positive and significant effects on money demand. Higher inflation drives transaction-driven liquidity, while the positive impact of interest rates reflects a precautionary motive amid economic uncertainty. Additionally, e-money complements physical currency by accelerating the velocity of money. Conversely, the short-run ECM estimations show no significant effects, confirming an adaptation lag to macroeconomic and technological changes before reaching equilibrium. Overall, long-term transactions and digital payments remain the primary drivers of money demand. Therefore, monetary authorities must maintain price and interest rate stability while strengthening digital payment infrastructure to support national economic stability.

Abstract

This study was conducted to analyze the influence of financial literacy and future-oriented time perspectives on retirement planning through financial self-efficacy among mining sector workers in East Kalimantan.. The researchers used a quantitative approach with an explanatory survey method. Data were collected by distributing questionnaires in person and online to 170 mining workers in East Kalimantan using a non-probability sampling technique specifically, convenience sampling and were analyzed using a Structural Equation Model based on Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS). The results indicate that financial literacy has a positive but non-significant effect on retirement planning. Meanwhile, financial literacy significantly enhances financial self-efficacy. Future time perspective positively and significantly influences both retirement planning and financial self-efficacy. Furthermore, financial self-efficacy positively and significantly influences retirement planning. However, financial self-efficacy does not mediate the relationship between financial literacy on retirement planning, whereas financial self-efficacy mediates the effect of future time perspective and retirement planning. These results imply that possessing financial knowledge alone does not insufficient to directly drive retirement planning behavior without a future-oriented mindset and an individual’s confidence in managing long-term finances.

Abstract

This study examines the effects of turnover intention, reward systems, leadership, and performance targets on employee performance at Marwa Group Indonesia in Wonosobo. It investigates both the partial and simultaneous effects of these variables and identifies the factor exerting the strongest influence on employee performance. A quantitative approach with a survey design was employed. Data were collected through questionnaires distributed to all 39 employees of Marwa Group Indonesia in Wonosobo using a census sampling technique. The data were analyzed using multiple linear regression with SPSS, following validity and reliability testing and classical assumption tests. The results indicate that turnover intention, reward systems, leadership, and performance targets have positive and statistically significant effects on employee performance, both individually and collectively. The adjusted R-squared value of 0.583 indicates that 58.3% of the variance in employee performance is explained by the four independent variables, while the remaining 41.7% is attributable to factors outside the research model. Based on the standardized beta coefficients, turnover intention emerged as the most influential variable, followed by performance targets, reward systems, and leadership. This finding differs from much of the previous literature, as turnover intention in the context of Marwa Group Indonesia appears to reflect employees’ career-development orientation rather than a decline in organizational commitment. This pattern may be associated with the characteristics of the workforce, which is predominantly composed of working-age employees, contract-based personnel, and employees with relatively short organizational tenure. The findings suggest that improving employee performance requires an integrated human resource management approach involving strengthened reward systems, effective leadership, clearly defined performance targets, and appropriate employee retention and career-development strategies.

Abstract

The goal of this study was to determine if and how the use of Canva in the Economics class at SMA Negeri 1 Peusangan Selatan influenced the students' motivation to study. The study was quantitative in nature and employed an experimental design with a control group that was not equal. Saturation sampling was used to choose participants from the population of eleventh graders. Data was collected using a 20-item Likert-scale survey that evaluated students' motivation to learn. Before it was used, the instrument was tested for validity and reliability. The data was subjected to a battery of tests using IBM SPSS Statistics version 22, including validity, reliability, normality, homogeneity, and independent sample t-tests. An average motivation score of 38.38 was achieved by the experimental group, which was marginally higher than the control group. But the independent sample t-test findings (Sig. = 0.387 > 0.05) show that neither group is significantly different from the other. Thus, there was no discernible effect of Canva on students' economics study motivation. Canva showed promise for making the classroom more interesting, even if the impact was not statistically significant. We suggest that future research use Canva with active learning models, use bigger samples, and extend treatment durations to get a more complete picture.

Abstract

Firm value reflects a company’s ability to create shareholder wealth and attract investors. This study examines the effects of Good Corporate Governance (GCG), profitability, and leverage on firm value in Property and Real Estate companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange during 2020–2024. GCG is measured by the proportion of independent commissioners, profitability by Return on Assets (ROA), leverage by Debt to Equity Ratio (DER), and firm value by Price to Book Value (PBV). This research employs a quantitative explanatory approach using secondary data from annual reports and audited financial statements. Purposive sampling produced 120 firm-year observations, which were analyzed using multiple linear regression with SPSS. The findings reveal that GCG, profitability, and leverage simultaneously have a significant effect on firm value. Individually, each variable also exerts a positive and significant influence. These results indicate that effective corporate governance, strong profitability, and appropriate leverage management contribute to enhancing firm value and strengthening investor confidence.
