Abstract

This literature review explores the implementation of educational policies for gifted and talented (GT) students, with a focus on Indonesia and comparative global perspectives. Based on past five years research, it analyzes key aspects including policy frameworks, identification methods, curriculum modifications, teacher preparation, and inclusive educational practices. The review finds that despite legal recognition, GT education in Indonesia faces significant implementation barriers, such as vague definitions of giftedness, insufficient teacher training, unequal resource distribution, and lack of institutional coordination.International best practices from countries like Finland, Australia, and South Korea demonstrate the benefits of structured policies, early identification, and differentiated instruction. Successful models also emphasize inclusive frameworks that integrate GT services within broader educational systems. The paper concludes that Indonesia must strengthen their policy execution through national coordination, targeted teacher development, increased funding, and improved public awareness of diverse forms of giftedness. These efforts are crucial to ensuring equitable access to quality education for all gifted learners and maximizing their potential for individual and societal advancement.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of principal instructional leadership, infrastructure, and teacher professional development on learning quality in public senior high schools (SMA Negeri) in Blora Regency. A quantitative approach with an associative research design was employed to examine the relationship between these variables. The research involved 200 teachers as respondents, selected through proportional random sampling. Data were collected using a structured questionnaire and analyzed using descriptive and inferential statistical methods, with the assistance of SPSS Statistics Version 26. The findings reveal that all three independent variables significantly influence learning quality. Principal instructional leadership has a strong positive effect on learning quality, with a correlation coefficient of 0.918 and an impact of 84.2%. Infrastructure also plays a crucial role, showing a correlation coefficient of 0.872 and contributing 76% to learning quality. Teacher professional development demonstrates a strong correlation of 0.890, influencing 79.2% of learning quality. The multiple regression analysis indicates that these three factors simultaneously explain 86.6% of the variance in learning quality, while the remaining 13.4% is influenced by other factors outside the model. The study concludes that effective principal instructional leadership, adequate infrastructure, and continuous teacher professional development are key determinants in enhancing learning quality. Schools with strong leadership, well-maintained facilities, and active teacher training programs tend to achieve higher educational outcomes. These findings emphasize the importance of a holistic approach in improving learning quality through leadership empowerment, facility enhancement, and professional teacher development. Future research is recommended to explore additional factors affecting learning quality, such as curriculum implementation, student motivation, and parental involvement. Policymakers and school administrators should prioritize leadership training, facility investment, and professional development programs to optimize the quality of education in Blora Regency and beyond.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the influence of operational efficiency, liquidity, and profitability on capital structure in manufacturing companies operating in the basic and chemical industry sectors listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange during the 2021–2023 period. The analysis was conducted using panel data regression, with the Fixed Effect model selected based on the results of the Chow and Hausman tests. The research sample consisted of 32 companies that met the criteria, and data analysis was performed using descriptive and inferential statistical approaches. The findings indicate that operational efficiency does not have a significant impact on capital structure. In contrast, liquidity has a significant negative effect, suggesting that companies with high liquidity levels tend to rely on internal funding sources rather than external financing. Meanwhile, profitability has a significant positive effect on capital structure, indicating that highly profitable firms are more likely to opt for external financing. The regression model used explains 30.89% of the variation in capital structure, with a statistically significant F-statistic. The validity and reliability of the model were confirmed through multicollinearity and heteroscedasticity tests. Overall, the study concludes that operational efficiency does not directly influence capital structure, whereas liquidity and profitability play significant roles in financing decisions. The implications of these findings offer strategic guidance for corporate management in formulating financing strategies based on a company’s liquidity position and profitability level.
