Abstract

This research is to analyze the role and function of the representative system in Indonesia from an institutional perspective can be interpreted as adhering to a soft bicameral system, that legislative power essentially has three functions, namely, legislative, supervisory and representation functions. The current state of Indonesia which claims to be bicameral in accordance with the 1945 Constitution of the Republic of Indonesia (article 2 paragraph 1), bicameral is equality between its institutions is not far apart, while in Indonesia that claims bicameralism in its implementation is not so, in accordance with laws and regulations and Constitutional Court Decisions such as Law No. 17 of 2014, Law No. 15 of 2019,  DPR Regulation No. 1 of 2020 and Constitutional Court Decision No. 92/PUU-X/2012, DPD is very limited which only has the right to submit drafts and participate in discussions, the rest is dominated by the DPR, starting from submission, discussion to approval. So actually, if you look at the legislative process, Indonesia adheres to a one-chamber system (unicameral plus), because the DPD does not have a full legislative function like the DPR.

Abstract

This study aims to examine and comprehend the implementation of a data-driven approach in educational strategic planning by identifying the challenges encountered and the opportunities that can be leveraged in the digital era. Educational institutions often struggle to maximize the use of data due to infrastructure limitations, low digital literacy, and minimal integration of technology in decision-making processes. This research employs a Research and Development (RD) methodology to design a data-driven implementation model for educational planning. Data collection was conducted through in-depth interviews with various stakeholders, observations of daily data utilization practices, and document analysis of education policies and evaluation reports. The data analysis process utilized triangulation techniques to ensure accuracy and consistency in research findings. The results indicate that a data-driven approach enhances efficiency and precision in educational strategic planning; however, its implementation remains hindered by constraints such as limited human resources, technological infrastructure, and supporting policies. This study recommends capacity building for educators, investment in digital infrastructure, and the development of regulations to safeguard and optimize data utilization. While data-driven approaches hold significant potential to transform educational strategic planning, successful implementation requires comprehensive and well-integrated support.

Abstract

This study aims to determine and analyze the role of National Capital Madani (PNM) Mekaar in distributing financing to MSMEs that break stone plates and its impact on increasing the income of business actors. This study uses a qualitative approach with a case study method. This approach was chosen because the study aims to understand in depth how PNM (National Capital Madani) Mekar plays a role in distributing financing and its influence on increasing the income of MSMEs that break stone plates. The case study method allows for detailed and contextual exploration of phenomena that occur in the field. The data collected were analyzed using thematic methods. The study's results show that the National Capital Madani (PNM) Mekaar program is important for helping small businesses that break stone plates in Jelbuk District earn more money by providing loans without collateral and offering support like financial training and business development. Positive impacts can be seen from increased income, production efficiency, and the growth of entrepreneurial spirit. Socialization carried out directly to residents' homes is also considered effective in reaching people who have not been touched by formal financial services. In order for this program to be more optimal, it is recommended to increase the intensity of mentoring, especially in digital literacy and online marketing; provide flexible installment schemes; collaborate with digital platforms to expand market access; and conduct regular evaluations of training and mentoring to better suit the needs of MSME plate-breaking stone actors.

Abstract

This study analyzes the role of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) teachers in preventing brain rot through character education at SMPN 1 Manyaran. Brain rot refers to the decline in critical thinking ability due to excessive consumption of superficial digital content, which impacts students' cognitive function and behavior. This research uses descriptive qualitative method, with interviews, observations, and literature studies as data sources. The results showed that PAI teachers play a significant role in instilling Islamic values, integrating character education in learning, and taking a personal approach in guiding students. This strategy is implemented through habituation of worship, teaching digital ethics, and strengthening self-control and discipline in the use of technology. However, the implementation of character education still faces challenges, such as students' high dependence on social media, lack of parental involvement, and teachers' low digital literacy. As a solution, the school developed a Ramadhan journal program to help students manage their time and reduce excessive digital consumption. This study confirms that collaboration between schools, parents and the government is crucial in improving the effectiveness of Islam-based character education in the digital era.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of the implementation of the Pancasila and Rahmatan lil 'Alamin Student Profile Strengthening Program (P5RA) at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Unggulan Al Fadel Bogor. The P5RA program, which has been running since the 2022/2023 school year as part of the Independent Curriculum, is designed to strengthen the values of Pancasila and the principles of Rahmatan lil 'Alamin in students. This study uses the CIPP (Context, Input, Process, Product) evaluation model to analyze four main aspects: the context of implementation, the availability of resources, the implementation process, and the results and impact of the program. The research method is qualitative with a descriptive approach, involving teachers, educators, and students as research subjects. Data were collected through observation, semi-structured interviews, and documentation studies, then analyzed using the Miles and Huberman model. The results showed that P5RA succeeded in increasing students' involvement in project-based learning and strengthening their character, such as independence, tolerance, and responsibility. A contextual evaluation revealed that the program not only met policy demands but also answered students' needs for holistic character education. From the input aspect, the availability of human resources and supporting facilities is the key to the success of the program. However, the study also identified challenges such as time constraints, lack of standardization of evaluations, and lack of socialization to parents. Overall, P5RA has proven to be effective in shaping student character, although improvements are needed in the evaluation and management aspects to ensure the sustainability of the program.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze trends and discuss future career expectations and interests in science education through a bibliometric approach based on Scopus data (2019-2024). Using the PRISMA method, 363 selected articles were analyzed through VOSviewer and Excel to map publication dynamics, citations, collaboration between countries, and research focus. Results showed a significant increase in publications since 2019, with a peak in 2023-2024 due to technology adoption during the transition period since the onset of the pandemic. The United States is one of the countries with the highest number of publications (3 documents). The highest-cited publication was an article by Lent and Brown (2019) in the Journal of Vocational Behavior, which received 285 citations. This article discusses the development of Social Cognitive Career Theory (SCCT) over the past 25 years and evaluates the empirical status of the theory's interest, choice, and performance models. From 2019 to 2022, the number of documents recorded was relatively stable, with slight fluctuations around 55-57. This indicates that during this period, interest in continuing education or career expectations tended to stagnate without any significant increase. However, there was a drastic spike from 2023 to 2024, where the number of documents increased sharply from around 55 to over 80.
