Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of digital media in corporate communication. In the digital era, companies increasingly rely on various digital platforms to enhance the effectiveness of both internal and external communication. Digital media enables companies to build their image, expand audience reach, and increase engagement with customers and other stakeholders. Therefore, this study explores how digital media contributes to corporate communication strategies and its impact on organizational communication effectiveness.The research method used in this study is a literature review, collecting and analyzing various journals, books, and scholarly articles related to corporate communication in a digital context. The reviewed sources include previous studies discussing the role of social media, websites, email, and other digital platforms in supporting corporate communication. The analysis focuses on trends, challenges, and opportunities presented by digital media for companies in communicating with their audiences.The findings indicate that digital media plays a significant role in enhancing corporate communication by reaching a broader audience, enabling faster interactions, and fostering greater engagement. The use of digital media has been proven to strengthen corporate branding, improve transparency, and facilitate more effective two-way communication with customers and business partners. However, challenges such as digital crisis management, data security, and information overload remain critical concerns that must be addressed to ensure optimal corporate communication in the digital era.

Abstract

Global Warming is a concern for the world today because of the significant climate change phenomenon felt by the world's population. One of the adverse impacts is poor air quality. Based on various reports on environmental conditions, air quality is the second highest cause of death in the world. One way that has been done is to improve the use of energy in transportation systems to renewable energy such as electric buses. The problem that exists in achieving the objectives of the method is how the community responds to the services provided by the government in this renewable transportation system.This study aims to provide empirical results regarding the effect of service quality from the Medan City Transportation Agency on public interest in using electric bus transportation services. The theory used is Service Quality (SERVQUAL) from Parasuraman and The Planned Behavior from Icek Ajzen. The method used is quantitative method with associative research type. The research respondents were 89 people. Data collection techniques using questionnaires and field observations. The data analysis used includes validity test, reliability test, descriptive statistical analysis test, normality test, linearity test, and hypothesis testing using simple linear regression test, correlation coefficient test (r test), determination coefficient test (r2) and partial significance test (t test). Processing of this questionnaire data using SPSS version 26 software.  The results showed that there is a positive relationship between service quality and public interest. The results of the linear test with a value of 0.156 which means that there is a linear relationship between variables X and Y. The results of the simple linear regression test of the service quality variable (X) with a regression coefficient (b) of 0.422, a constant value (a) of 8.186. The result of the correlation coefficient (r test) is 0.873 and the coefficient of determination test is 0.762 which can be concluded that the two results are included in a very strong relationship, and based on the results of the coefficient of determination test, there is an influence of the service quality variable (X) on public interest (Y) of 76.2%.

Abstract

Talking about the analysis of students' ability to understand the report text in the eleventh grade of SMA Negeri 1 SIBORONGBORONG, where the research problem is “How is the student's ability to understand the report text at the reading level at SMA Negeri 1 Siborongborong?”. The subjects of this study were SMA Negeri 1 Siborongborong grade XI students, there were 8 classes consisting of 288 students and the author took 72 students as samples. From the data analysis, it was obtained that the students' abilities were at a moderate level, where students who obtained scores of more than 85.8 were only 13 students, between 69.41 - 85.8 were 41 students and students with low abilities or obtained scores less than 69.41 were 18 students. From these findings, the author concludes that, grade XI students do not have high abilities, and some of them cannot understand the report text well. As a result, the ability of grade XI students of SMA Negeri 1 Siborongborong is at a moderate level.

Abstract

The development of an intellectual property (KI) ecosystem is very important to support the progress of innovation and protection of intellectual property rights in Indonesia. As an institution that has the authority to formulate policies and supervise the implementation of laws related to IP, the Ministry of Law and Human Rights plays a role in creating a conducive environment for the development of research, industry and creativity. Collaborative governance built between the government, private sector, academics and society focuses on aligning policies, increasing awareness of the importance of IP protection, and utilizing information technology to facilitate access and management of intellectual property rights. Through these efforts, it is hoped that a dynamic IP ecosystem will be created that supports global competitiveness, as well as providing benefits for national economic development. The challenges faced include the uneven distribution of information, as well as the need to adjust regulations that are responsive to technological and industrial developments. Therefore, synergy between various parties, under the coordination of the Ministry of Law and Human Rights, is the key to realizing an effective and inclusive IP ecosystem.

Abstract

Character education in preschool children is a very important foundation in shaping their personality and morality for the future. Az-Zikro Islamic Boarding School, as a religious-based educational institution, plays a strategic role in instilling the values ​​of discipline and responsibility from an early age. This study aims to identify efforts made in implementing discipline and responsibility in preschool children at Az-Zikro Islamic Boarding School, as well as factors that support and hinder the implementation of these values. The research method used is a qualitative approach that includes observation techniques, direct practice, and documentation. The results of the study showed that the implementation of discipline was carried out through routine activities, such as congregational Duha prayer before entering the classroom, following the rules at the Islamic boarding school, and direct guidance from the caregiver. Meanwhile, responsibility was instilled through simple tasks, such as maintaining classroom cleanliness, tidying up seats after studying, and completing assigned tasks. Factors that support the implementation of these values ​​include a conducive Islamic boarding school environment, active involvement of ustadz and ustadzah, and support from parents. However, there are several challenges faced, such as differences in children's backgrounds, limitations of caregivers in providing individual attention, and the process of children adapting to new environments. With the right strategy and approach that suits the characteristics of preschool children, the application of discipline and responsibility values ​​can be implemented more effectively, so as to form independent and responsible individuals in the future.

Abstract

The strategic role of TRC BPBD (Regional Disaster Management Agency) volunteers plays a key part in managing the landslide disaster risk in the Salatiga area, as well as the efforts made by BPBD to enhance the strategic role of volunteers. The aim of this study is to outline the background of the issues related to the role of BPBD volunteers in handling landslide disasters, as well as the efforts made by BPBD Salatiga to strengthen the volunteers' contributions in disaster management. This research adopts a qualitative approach with data collection methods through interviews and questionnaires. Role theory, particularly the Prescribed Role dimension, is applied to analyze the data obtained. The findings reveal that the role of TRC BPBD volunteers in Salatiga plays a crucial part in landslide disaster management, especially in preparedness, emergency response, and post-disaster recovery. Although volunteers have a critical role, BPBD Salatiga needs to continuously improve training, coordination, and the resources that support the performance of TRC volunteers.

Abstract

Foundation is a structure located on the surface or in the soil layer, which functions as a foundation and also to channel loads from the upper structure into the soil. This study analyzes the bearing capacity of single and group pile foundations using the Touma and Reese, Mayerhoff 1956, and Reese and Wright methods based on SPT data. With a maximum load of 204.25 tons, the Touma and Reese method yields a single pile bearing capacity of 57.163 tons and a group capacity of 394.368 tons. The Mayerhoff method obtains a single pile capacity of 166.801 tons and a group capacity of 1150.763 tons. Meanwhile, the Reese and Wright method results in a single pile capacity of 45.811 tons and a group capacity of 316.047 tons. A load of 204.25 tons can be supported by a group of seven piles. These results can serve as a reference in the design of pile foundations.

Abstract

This thesis discusses the elaboration of playing techniques and presentation of the saxophone in the work Uptown Funk by Mark Ronson. The techniques used are diaphragmatic breathing, tonguing, altissimo, staccato, and improvisation. This research also provides an explanation of the difficulties experienced by the author when presenting this work in a recital. In the final part, the author explains the presentation of Uptown Funk during a recital. The result of the training is that the author is able to use the techniques that the author has prepared in presenting the repertoire and at the recital the author uses these techniques well as previously trained.

Abstract

The 2024 Presidential dan Vice Presidential Elections yesterday were very interesting with various strategies prepared to win the election. This study analyses the influence of Tiktok on the decision to elect the President and Vice president among Generation Z in the 2024 presidential election in Salatiga City. With increasing technological advances and increasing internet usage, Generation Z is as importan group in the presidential election, utilising Tiktok to obtain political information. This research aim at how Tiktok can influence the decision to vote for President and Vice President among Generation Z. Using descriptive quantitative method conducted throufh questionnaires distributed randomly to Generation Z in Salatiga. the findings of this study indicate that Tiktk can have an impact and a significant influence on voting interest for Generation Z in Salatiga City.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the ability of knowledge donating, innovative work behaviour in influencing human resource performance. We believe that the research results will be useful in encouraging managers to take steps and strategies to improve employee performance. The research was conducted at the South Arut District Government office, West Kotawaringin Regency with a sample of 71 participants. The method in this research uses statistical methods and data collection methods using primary and secondary data. The reliability test uses Cronbach Alpha and the validity test uses correlation and discriminant. Testing uses the Partial Least Square (PLS) method. The research results show that: Knowledge Donating has a positive relationship with Human Resource Performance, Innovative Work Behavior has a positive relationship with Human Resource Performance and Knowledge Donating has a positive relationship with Human Resource Performance through Innovative Work Behavior.
