Naradidik: Journal of Education & Pedagogy (ISSN 2827-864X) is a scientific journal managed by the Department of Sociology Laboratories, Faculty of Social Sciences, Universitas Negeri Padang. This journal facilitates publications for research related to the discussion of the structure and dynamics of educational institutions, curriculum development, learning models, classroom action research, school action research and the development of education in society. With an in-depth study, it is hoped that the articles in this journal will provide new ideas related to the development of existing concepts, models and theories in education science.

<![CDATA[This study aims to determine the New Student Admission (PPDB) zoning system in the Matur District Elementary School (SD). This research was motivated by Permendikbud No. 1 of 2021 regarding the acceptance of new students. One of the regulations that must implemented in this permendikbud is the student addmissions path which is divided into 4 pathways including the zoning path, the affirmation path, the transfer path of parental duties and the achievement path. This study was analyzed using the Structural Functional Theory of Robert K. Merton, using a qualitative approach with the type of case study research. The selection of informans was carried out using purposive sampling technique with a total of 30 informants. Data was collected by means of observation, interviews and documentation studies. The result of the study found that the new students admissions (PPDB) with a zoning system in Matur District had a positive impact including minimizing the perspective of superior schools, equalizing education, facilitating parental supervision. The negative impact is the acquisition of new students in religious eduction institutions, the potential for cheating parents and closing or regrouping schools.]]>

<![CDATA[Learning at SMA Negeri 1 Sutera Pessel is carried out online, so that the implementation of the assessment of the competence of social attitudes in learning sociology at SMA N 1 Sutera is carried out online. This study aims to describe the implementation of assessment of social attitudes in online learning of Sociology at SMA N 1 Sutera, Pesisir Regency South. This research was analyzed by the theory proposed by Parson (Laurer, 1982). This study uses a qualitative approach, the technique of selecting informants is purpose sampling, with the number of informants 13 people. Data collection is carried out by means of observation and interviews which are analyzed using data analysis techniques from Miles and Huberman. The results showed that the method of implementing sociology teachers in assessing social attitudes in online learning of Sociology at SMA N 1 Sutera, Pesisie Selatan Regency, A good assessment is carried out directly through offline meetings with non-test techniques, so that the results are truly in accordance with the actual situation. In fact, the assessment of social attitudes during the pandemic is carried out indirectly through online meetings. Even though the situation is not possible, teachers are still required to carry out the social attitude assessment process.]]>

<![CDATA[This study aims to find out what strategies are used by teachers in teaching children with special needs during the pandemic in an inclusive school setting at SMA Negeri 2 Bukittinggi. This research is a qualitative research with the type of case study research. The data in this study were analyzed using structural functional theory with the concept of AGIL (Adaptation, Goal Attainment, Integration, Latent Maintenance). This functional structural theory views society as a system consisting of elements that are interrelated and interdependent so that, if an element is not aware that they are a unit, it will make the system disorganized. The selection of informants was carried out by purposive sampling, namely as many as 15 teacher informants who teach in inclusive classes at SMA Negeri 2 Bukittinggi. Data collection was carried out by the methods of observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of this study indicate that the strategy used by teachers for children with special needs is to use individual learning for students, contributions from parents, and provide simple questions to students who experience these weaknesses.]]>

<![CDATA[Ideally a student teacher candidate has a good self-concept in order to complete teacher lectures properly. However, several studies reveal the low self-concept of students. This study aims to determine the condition of the self-concept of students of the Sociology Education Study Program, FIS UNP. The research methodology uses a quantitative approach. Data collection using a questionnaire. The collected data were analyzed by statistical percentage techniques. The results of the study revealed that students of the Sociology Education Study Program FIS UNP who took Micro Teaching lectures had good self-concepts. In general, their self-concept is in the high category. They think that they are a complete figure from the physical side. They are confident in their ability to manage emotions. They are also able to follow and complete lecture assignments and are proud of their achievements, including in Micro Teaching lectures. Students feel valued and able to respect their friends and feel comfortable attending classes and in the learning environment.]]>

Efforts to improve gender equality are mainly through education, both family education and school education. Gender responsive education has been carried out in Indonesia and has become a target for sustainable development with the SDGs program, which is targeted to be achieved by 2030. Various phenomena of gender inequality are still encountered in society. This shows that there are problems in the perception and application of gender equality. One of the efforts to give birth to justice and gender equality is through education. Therefore, this article aims to explain the concept of gender and gender equality and then gender equality education.]]>

<![CDATA[This study aims to improve the understanding of the concepst of student in class X SMA through the development of student worksheets using an discovery learning model. This research is motivated because of the low concept of student from the material forms of social interactio. So a method is needed to overcome this problem. One of which is by using the discovery learning model. This type of research is research and devolopment. The development model is 4 D. Data collection techniques use research instrumens consisting of validation practicality and effectivenness of. This research was conducted on students of class x SMA Negeri 1 Suliki by obtaining productvalidity result in the high category. The product practicality test was carried out by distributing questionnaires to student by obtaining result in the practical category, the result of the study concluded tha the LKPD discovery learning model is feasible to use and can help improve the understanding of the concept of class x students.]]>

<![CDATA[The development of the era which has entered the 21st century, science and information technology is growing very rapidly has a lot of influence on all areas of life. Especially in the educational aspect, the use of technology can be applied in the learning process in schools, namely by using learning media. The purpose of this research is to help students understand the material and relate the concepts of sociology learning in everyday life. This study uses an experimental method with a one group pretest-posttest research design. Data collection was carried out with a question instrument in the form of a pretest posttest. The target of the trial in this study was in class XI IPS 2 at SMA N 12 Merangin using purposive sampling as an experimental class with 32 students as research subjects. After testing the normality and homogeneity tests for data analysis of the effectiveness of the sociology learning animation video media, the t-test was carried out. Based on the results of the study showed that animated videos in sociology learning proved to be effective.]]>

<![CDATA[The purpose of this study is to analyze the professional abilities of students in the field of education in the sociology department for the 2021/2022 academic year. The method used in this research is qualitative with case study research type. The informant selection technique is purposive sampling with a total of 10 informants. The theory used in this research is the Structural Functional theory by Talcott Parsons. This study uses data analysis from the Miles and Huberman model. Based on the results of this study, students of the Department of Sociology have been able to carry out basic teaching skills in professional competence as a teacher as follows: (1) Ability to understand educational foundations, (2) Understanding in the field of educational psychology, (3) Have been able to implement the learning process from beginning to end, (4) the ability to develop learning programs, (5) the ability to carry out learning evaluations, (6) the ability to carry out variations in learning, (7) the ability to design and utilize various media and learning resources, (8 ) The ability to master the subject matter in accordance with the field of study being taught, (9) The ability to manage the class.]]>

<![CDATA[The purpose of this study was to describe the results of the evaluation of the implementation of online sociology learning during the Covid-19 pandemic at SMA Negeri 1 Pangkalan Kuras. This research is motivated because the application of learning that was originally face-to-face at school became online learning. During the implementation of online learning, there are obstacles that occur to students so that an evaluation process is needed for the implementation of online learning. This research is quantitative research using evaluation research type. The type of evaluation used is program evaluation. This study uses a descriptive evaluative research method with a quantitative-descriptive approach. The research instrument used is a questionnaire. Based on the research results obtained as a whole, the results of the evaluation of online learning programs carried out by students and teachers went well. And the online sociology learning program can be continued with a slight improvement in the process of giving and understanding material to students.]]>

<![CDATA[This paper describes sociology learning that is integrated with the value of local wisdom in facing the challenges of living in a disaster area. One of the disasters that often occur and have a major impact on people's lives is flooding and banjir bandang (galodo). One way to deal with natural disasters is to understand how to deal with disasters, therefore it is necessary to understand disaster mitigation. Disaster mitigation education is an effort to overcome and minimize the impact if a disaster occurs, so it is important for teachers to teach disaster mitigation education, which will later be beneficial for students in interacting with the environment. One of the appropriate materials to teach disaster mitigation education is local wisdom material. The form of local wisdom that exists in Minangkabau is a song, one of the songs that contains the value of local wisdom in dealing with disasters is "pasan buruang". Few students know this song, so the teacher needs to teach the value of local wisdom contained in this song. This research is a descriptive qualitative research, using interview, observation and documentation methods. The theory used in analyzing the results of this study is the theory of cognitivism proposed by Jean Piaget. The results of this study indicate that the method of group discussion and choir is a way for students to appreciate the meaning of the pasan buruang song and with this chorus method students feel interested in collaborating with other friends to find the meaning of this song. Teaching the local wisdom of the pasanburuang song with the chorus method increased the enthusiasm of the eleventh graders.]]>
