Abstract

This research is motivated by the existence of remedial learning that given by the teacher for class XI IPS at SMAN 1 Akabiluru District District of Fifty Cities. This is evidenced by students who still have not to achieve KKM in sociology, there are 34 students out of 65 students. This study aims to determine the implementation of remedial on students sociology at SMAN 1 Akabiluru Kabupaten Lima Puluh Kota. Technique selection of informants by using purposive sampling with a number of 16 informants consisting of 14 sociology students who took remedial and 2 teachers of sociology. Data collection techniques are by observation, in-depth interviews and documentation. Data analysis carried out with the interactive model of Miles and Huberman which consists of reducing data, presentation of data and drawing conclusions. Theory used in this study Agil by Talcon Parson, the results of this study indicate that remedial sociology at SMAN 1 Akabiluru sub-district is carried out in three forms, namely tutoring, giving assignments and reteaching, the timing of this remedial implementation is routinely done after students take the exam and how to present the material is given by provide a stimulus in the form of essay questions that are easy to understand and can be analyzed students through real life so that students can better understand the material learning. The assessment given by the teacher is in the form of numbers according to the KKM which has been determined is 75.

Abstract

This research started from changes that occurred in the world of education during the COVID-19 pandemic made the lecture system change from online to offline. As a result of these changes, students are physically and psychologically exhausted, which causes the phenomenon of Digital Fatigue. The purpose of this study was to analyze the form of Digital Fatigue and its impact on students of the Department of Sociology, Faculty of Social Sciences (FIS) Universitas Negeri Padang (UNP). This study uses a qualitative approach. The research informant selection technique used purposive sampling technique with a total of 19 people. Data collection techniques are observation techniques, in-depth interviews, and documentation studies. Data analysis was carried out using the Miles and Huberman interactive model. The results of this study indicate that there are several forms and impacts of the digital fatigue phenomenon on students majoring in sociology at the Padang State University which are divided into physical digital fatigue, psychological digital fatigue. and the impact of digital fatigue on student studies, finances and social interactions. Physical digital fatigue consists of disturbances in the eyes, head and body. While digital psychological fatigue consists of disturbances in mood, decreased interest and motivation and FOMO. The impact of digital fatigue on student studies causes a decrease in learning outcomes, as well as neglected assignments, on finances causing the economy to decline due to frequent buying of internet quota, as well as on social interactions affecting how to interact and communicate.

Abstract

This research was motivated by the low level of participatory students in learning sociology in class XI social studies 1, SMA N 4 Merangin Jambi. This is evidenced by only 27.30% of students who play an active role in learning. From the percentage of active students, it shows that the level of student participation in learning is still low. The theory put forward in this study is the behavioristic theory according to skinner which focuses on the creation of behavioral patterns that can be seen from learning outcomes. The purpose of this study analyle out the causes of students not participatory in learning. This research uses a qualitative approach with a case study type of research. Informant selection technique using purposive sampling technique with the number of informants as many as 13 people. Data collection techniques are observation techniques, in-depth interviews and documentation studies. Data analysis uses Miles and Huberman's interactive analysis model which consists of data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of this study show that there are several things that cause students not to participate in learning. The causes of class XI social studies students of SMAN 4 Merangin not actively participating: 1) fear or shame of being laughed at by friends. 2) don't understand metering. 3) the student's health condition 4) the curator's concentration is studying 5) the curator is self-preparation.

Abstract

This research was motivated by the low learning motivation of students in learning sociology for class XI IPS at SMAN 1 Padang Gelugur, Pasaman, the low motivation to learn students was seen from the movements of students during the learning process, and student learning outcomes in learning sociology. This is interesting to study because in the process of learning activities there is a need for motivation, where the motivation of students greatly determines how these students act in the learning process but there are still students who have low motivation so that this becomes a problem that needs to be studied more deeply. This study aims to analyze the relationship between the teacher's role and students' motivation in learning sociology in class XI IPS at SMAN 1 Padang Gelugur, Pasaman. This type of research is correlational, quantitative approach with ex post facto method. The number of samples is 68 students. The sampling technique used is proportional random sampling technique. This study uses the role theory of Robert Linton and Biddle and Thomas, then the researcher also uses the behavioristic learning theory proposed by Gagne and Berliner. Data collection is done by distributing questionnaires (questionnaire) directly. Then test requirements analysis using 3 classical assumption tests, namely normality test, linearity test and heteroscedasticity test. The data collected were analyzed using product moment correlation analysis techniques and simple linear regression analysis, while for hypothesis testing using t statistical tests and calculating the coefficient of determination (R2). The results of this study indicate that there is a positive and significant relationship between the teacher's role and students' learning motivation in learning sociology for class XI IPS at SMAN 1 Padang Gelugur, Pasaman with a large correlation (R) of the teacher's role with students' learning motivation of 0.532 or 53% and the coefficient of determination R square (R2) is 0.283 or 28% and the remaining 72% is influenced by other variables or factors that are not the focus of this study.

Abstract

The objectives of this Classroom Action Research (CAR) are to improve students' mathematics learning activities, and 2) to improve the mathematics learning achievement of students. The research was carried out in two (2) cycles each consisting of two (2) meetings through the following stages of planning, observation, and reflection. The results obtained from CAR through the game method model showed an increase in the results of student activities, especially in activities to prepare places, materials, and tools by 54,71 %, activities to express ideas by 65,12 %, and for activities to read game rules and books experienced by 73,02 %. Based on the student's mathematics learning achievement data, the average grade in cycle 1 was 65,12, increasing to 71,91 in cycle 2. The percentage of students who achieved the standard of completeness also increased in cycle 2 by 87,18 % (good category), increasing to 100 % (special category) in cycle 2.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatar belankangi oleh ketertarikan peneliti dalam mengetahui faktor penyebab rendah hasil belajar siswa pada pembelajaran daring kelas XI sosiologi SMAN 1 Ampek Nagari. Berdasarkan latar belakang di atas, dapat dilihat bahwa dengan adanya pembelajaran daring di SMA Negeri 1 Ampek Nagari berdampak kepada turunnya hasil belajar siswa. Sehingga dengan hasil belajar siswa turun maka mempengaruhi nilai siswa pada mata pelajaran sosiologi kelas XI tepatnya pada nilai rata-rata ujian akhir semester ganjil pada tahun 2021/2022, terutama pada mata pelajaran sosiologi. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui faktor penyebab rendahnya hasil belajar siswa pada pembelajaran daring. Untuk menjelaskan permasalahan penelitian ini teori yang digunakan adalah teori struktural fungsuional oleh Talcott parson. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis studi kasus. Teknik pemilihan informan dilakukan dengan cara purposive sampling dengan jumlah informan sebanyak 46 siswa dan 4 guru. Metode pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan observasi, wawancara dan dokumen. Analisis data yang dilakukan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan secara sistematis. Adapun temuan penelitian yang mana diperoleh bahwa faktor penyebab rendahnya hasil belajar siswa adalah faktor internal dan faktor eksternal, di mana yang dimaksud dengan faktor internal adalah faktor yang berasal dari dalam diri individu, dan adapun faktor eksternal faktor yang berasal dari luar individu. Jadi faktor internal dilihat dari hasil belajar, bahwasanya hasil belajar siswa rendah karena banyak siswa yang tidak ikut dalam pembelajaran daring, banyak siswa yang tidak membuat tugas oleh dari itu, hasil belajar siswa rendah. Dan adapun faktor dari eksternal yaitu faktor yang berasal dari luar diri siswa yaitu proses pembelajaran, dilihat dari proses pembelajaran bahwa terkendala oleh jaringan, tidak memiliki android dan tidak minat dalam pembelajaran daring oleh dari itu dengan adanya berbagai kendala yang dialami siswa maka sistem pembelajaran tidak berjalan dengan baik.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the teacher's perception of face-to-face learning after online learning during the pandemic at SMA N 3 Padang. It is interesting to study the teacher's perception of the change in learning from online learning to face-to-face learning. This research is analyzed with Alferd Schutz's phenomenological theory which explains how to interpret or understand social action through interpretation, where the interpretation clarifies the true meaning. The perspective used by Schutz in understanding other people's awareness and self-awareness is the concept of intersubjectivity, namely the life of the world or daily life, in this theory there are two aspects to consider, namely knowledge and action. The method used in this research is to use a qualitative approach with the type of study intrinsic case. The technique of taking informants was carried out by random sampling, namely by taking random samples, with a total of 19 informants, namely teachers at SMA N 3 Padang who were more deeply involved in teachers who teach in the social studies section. Data collection techniques were carried out by means of non-participant observation, in-depth interviews and documentation studies. To obtain data validity, data triangulation was carried out. The data analysis technique used the Milles and Huberman model. The results of this study indicate the teacher's perception of face-to-face learning after online learning during the pandemic is based on the phenomenology that occurs, namely the change in online learning into full face-to-face learning.

Abstract

This study discusses the adaptation strategy of SMA N 1 Payakumbuh with zoning and knowing the changes that have occurred after the zoning system at SMA N 1 Payakumbuh. This study uses a descriptive approach with qualitative research methods. The data collection techniques that the researchers used were observation, interviews, and documentation. The data analysis used in this study used the Miles and Huberman interactive model through several activity procedures including data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions or levers. The results showed: first, changes in student input which were relatively heterogeneous after the implementation of the zoning system led to changes in learning patterns; second, the lack of public understanding of zoning; third, the strategy carried out by schools at SMAN 1 Payakumbuh in adjusting to the zoning is to make extracurricular activities at this time and fourth, inculcating values, increasing motivation by subject teachers and counseling teachers (Counseling Counseling).

Abstract

This article describes the application of Google Sites based learning media in an effort to improve learning outcomes in Sociology subjects in class XI IPS 2 SMA Negeri 1 Ampek Angkek. The method used is the Classroom Action Research (CAR) method using the Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) model. In its application, all the steps needed in the contextual teaching and learning (CTL) model are carried out, namely modeling, inquiry, questioning, learning community, constructivism, reflection, and authentic assessment. The results of this study indicate that the application of Google Site based learning media can improve student learning outcomes. The learning media made consist of the Main Page, Absensi Page, Pre Test Page, material Page, feedback page, and Post Test Page. This media was validated by sociology teacher. The feasibility of Google Sites media is based on the score obtained for each aspect by sociology teachers to get an assessment result with an average score of 76 which is included in the appropriate category.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the presence of students smoking in the school environment which is a violation of school regulations. Character education is one way to reduce students' smoking behavior at school. This study looks at how the application of character education to smoking behavior at SMA N 1 Batang Onang. This study uses a qualitative case study type. The informant selection technique was purposive sampling, which was based on the researcher's criteria. Data collection was carried out by interviewing the principal, deputy head of curriculum, deputy student affairs, counseling teacher, 5 subject teachers, 16 students, and 3 parents as well as the surrounding community at SMA N 1 Batang Onang, then observing activities at school such as classrooms, cafeteria, in the parking lot, and outside the school and the latest data is in the form of documentation in the form of photos, lesson plan documents and so on. In this study using data analysis Miles and Huberman namely data reduction, data presentation, and data verification. The theory used in research on the application of character education to smoking behavior at SMA N 1 Batang Onang is Thomas Lickona's character theory. The results of this study are character education at SMA N 1 Batang Onang, application of character education at SMA N 1 Batang Onang, smoking behavior at SMA N 1 Batang Onang.
