Abstract

An expert system for diagnosing developmental disorders in children using the certainty factor method serves as a tool for early detection in children exhibiting unusual behavior for more than three months. Some common disorders in children include autism, oppositional defiant disorder (ODD), mental retardation, and ADHD (Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder). The development of an expert system application for diagnosing developmental disorders in children using the certainty factor method was implemented using PHP and MySQL in the form of a website. Through this application, users can consult with the system as if consulting with an expert to identify the disorder affecting the child based on the symptoms experienced. The application also allows users to view medical records based on the examinations conducted.

Abstract

Red cooking oil is one of the oleofood products derived from CPO whose carotene content is maintained. Carotene is an important compound for the body because it can act as provitamin A. In addition, carotene is also a natural antioxidant for the body. The process of making RPO goes through several stages, one of which is the deodorization process. The deodorization process in making palm cooking oil is different from the deodorization in making RPO. Deodorization in making RPO is no longer intended to reduce ALB but only to improve the aroma of the oil. While deodorization at high temperatures can actually reduce the carotene content in RPO. This study was conducted by varying the deodorization temperature so that the optimal temperature was obtained to eliminate the odor in the oil but still had high carotene and the aroma was still preferred. This study was conducted in the Palm Oil Processing Engineering Laboratory by varying the deodorization temperature, namely 900C, 1200C, and 1500C with a pressure of 36 mmHg.

Abstract

Abstract : This study aims to analyze the response of plants to air pollution in the Binjai City area, which faces increased urbanization and industrial activities. The main focus of this research is the impact of pollutants, such as carbon monoxide (CO), nitrogen dioxide (NO2), and sulfur dioxide (SO2), on the physiology and morphology of plants, including stomatal damage, chlorophyll reduction, and leaf growth. Data were collected through field observations and laboratory analyses of local plant species exposed to urban and suburban environments. The results indicate that air pollution levels negatively correlate with plant health, as observed in the reduction of photosynthesis and biomass production. This study is expected to provide recommendations for environmental conservation and air quality management in urban areas.

Abstract

Scheduling is a division of time so that the work is more efficient and orderly while learning is currently still done manually, so that it has several obstacles faced such as frequent clashes in learning schedules due to lack of accuracy when compiling learning schedules. The process without computerization will feel ineffective if there are many parameters and constraints used, the application of the scheduling information system that will be created later, will further improve performance in making schedules and processing scheduling data. This analysis will run according to plan and objectives, because Elementary School X will use this technology to improve teacher performance in compiling learning schedules. So the result of this analysis is that with the project management analysis for the scheduling information system model, we will be able to predict the needs of the system to be built.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the integration of circular economy in the chemical industry over the past decade, specifically from 2015 to 2025, using the systematic literature review (slr) method. data were analyzed using the prisma flow diagram, which maps inclusion activities and search results. journal articles were identified from the sciencedirect database. out of a total of 34,885 articles spanning 10 disciplines, the research focus was narrowed down to chemical engineering. following a selection process from 3,819 articles, 1,027 articles were identified as meeting the criteria for further analysis. articles that fulfilled the inclusion criteria were then selected for in-depth review. the study results indicate that research on the circular economy in the chemical industry has experienced rapid growth and has become a significant trend, driving the industry's attention toward environmental impact. data analysis shows that 2024 recorded the highest number of article publications, with a total of 438 articles, while the article with the highest number of citations was published in 2022, with 333 citations.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to develop learning media using Articulate Storyline 3 that are valid, practical, and effective to improve students' ability to understand flat plane topics. The study was carried out at MTSS AL KAROMAH BERASTAGI. The subjects of this research were students of class VII-A. This research is research and development (R&D) using the ADDIE Model. The data collection technique uses a questionnaire assessment sheet for material experts, teaching material experts, learning practitioners and student responses. The results showed that learning media using Articulate Storyline 3 obtained an average percentage of 93.47% with the criteria of "very valid" according to the assessment of teaching materials experts and based on media material experts obtained an average percentage of 77.5% with the criteria " very valid". Based on the practice of learning carried out by the mathematics teacher getting 91,4% with the "very practical" criteria. Based on the effectiveness assessment of the 20 students, they got an average percentage of 88.90% with the criteria of "very effective".

Abstract

In Indonesia, unemployment is one of the major challenges in the social and economic fields, with widespread impacts not only on individuals personally but also on social stability and overall economic growth. This study aims to analyze the influence of education level, wage level, and job opportunities on unemployment in Bali Province during the period of 2013-2023. This research uses an associative quantitative approach, as the data used is in numerical form, and data processing is performed through statistical analysis. The technique used in this study is panel data regression analysis to examine the impact of variables education, wages, and job opportunities on the variable unemployment. The results indicate that, simultaneously, education, wages, and job opportunities significantly affect unemployment in Bali Province, and individually, education, wages, and job opportunities also significantly affect unemployment in Bali Province. Education has a positive impact, while wages and job opportunities have a negative impact on unemployment in Bali Province.

Abstract

Sungai Pagu District has rich natural and cultural tourism potential, but its management has not been optimal due to a lack of community involvement, limited budget, and insufficient human resources in the tourism sector. With the development of Geographic Information System (GIS) technology, it can be utilized in various survey, mapping, and spatial analysis projects. This study aims to analyze the tourism potential and determine the priority for developing tourist attractions in Sungai Pagu District using the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) approach. The criteria used include Tourist Attractions, Facilities, Accessibility, Infrastructure, and Management, with alternatives being natural and cultural tourism. Data were collected through documentation, interviews, questionnaires, and observations, and then analyzed using Microsoft Excel software. The research findings show that there are 3 natural tourist attractions and 5 cultural tourist attractions. Based on the evaluation of 5 criteria, Management received the highest score (58.23%). Among natural tourism, Embung Batu Anyuik is the top priority (67.15%), while among cultural tourism, Menara Songket ranked the highest (40.67%).

Abstract

Digitalization of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) is a crucial necessity for enhancing competitiveness and operational efficiency. However, many MSMEs still face various challenges in adopting digital technologies, particularly in marketing and operational management. This research aims to design and develop a digital business website for Ayam Geprek Mama as a case study in the implementation of technology-based systems. The methodology employed in this study is the Agile approach, which involves iterative phases of planning, development, testing, and implementation. The website is developed using PHP and MySQL for the backend, and HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for the frontend. This system is designed to facilitate the ordering process, marketing, and business management through an online ordering feature integrated with WhatsApp, menu information, and a product management system. Evaluation results indicate that the implementation of this website can enhance marketing reach, expedite the ordering process, and improve operational efficiency. With this digital solution, Ayam Geprek Mama can become more competitive in the culinary industry.

Abstract

A buck converter is a circuit that functions to reduce DC-DC voltage which is often used in various electronic applications. The aim of this research is to design and implement a buck converter circuit that utilizes the LM2596 IC. The research methodology includes circuit design and practical testing. The research results show that circuit testing was carried out with input voltage variations of 10V, 15V, and 20V, which produced stable output voltages of 6.68V, 6.71V, and 6.78V respectively.
