Abstract

Malaria in Indonesia is still a public health problem. Based on a study conducted in 2022, there were 2,208 cases of malaria reported during the study period in North Sumatra. According to a report from the World Health Organization (WHO) in 2023, the Southeast Asian region, including North Sumatra, is still the region with the highest malaria cases in the world. In 2021, the Southeast Asian region accounts for 95% of the total malaria cases in the world. Purpose: This study aims to explore information about efforts to prevent malaria in the community in Sorkam Kanan Village, Sorkam Barat District, Tapanuli Tengah Regency. Method: This study uses a qualitative method with a phenomenological approach. The research informants were 9 people who were determined by the snowball technique, the informants consisted of 8 residents and 1 health worker from the Community Health Center who handled the Malaria program. Results: This study shows that efforts to prevent malaria by killing larvae and adult malaria mosquitoes through house spraying, larvaciding and biological control have never been carried out by the community because they think this is the responsibility of health workers. To prevent malaria mosquito bites for those who have a habit of being outside the house at night by wearing long-sleeved shirts, jackets and long gloves.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan siswa kelas X TKJ 2 SMK Negeri I Percut Sei Tuan dalam memahami puisi dengan pendekatan struktural. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode penelitian tindakan kelas. Penelitian dilakukan sebanyak lima kali pertemuan dengan dua siklus. Hasil penelitian pada siklus I menunjukkan bahwa dari 31 siswa, hanya ada 8 peserta didik yang mendapat nilai ≥ 8.0 (26 %) atau 23 orang yang mendapat nilai <8.0 sedangkan nilai rata-rata kelas adalah 7,30. Pada tes akhir siklus II dari 31 peserta didik, yang mendapat nilai ≥ 8.0 berjumlah 27 orang atau sekitar 87% dari jumlah seluruhnya. Terdapat perubahan atau peningkatan kemampuan peserta didik dalam menganalisis makna puisi dengan menggunakan pendekatan struktural.

Abstract

Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus is a chronic hyperglycemic condition that triggers various chronic complications. Families that have a good level of independence in caring for diabetic members can prevent complications from occurring. Family independence can be increased through home care services. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of Home Care services on the level of Family Independence in Caring for Family Members with Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus at the Puskesmas Plaju in 2022. This type of research was a quasi-experimental study using a nonrandomized control group pretest-posttest design . Data collection was carried out at August 8-28, 2022 on 30 samples. The research test used the Wilcoxon Sign Rank Test and the Mann Whitney U Test . The results of the Mann Whitney U Test obtained a p-value of 0.000 so that the p-value < 0.05, meaning that there is an effect of home care services on the level of family independence in caring for family members with type 2 Diabetes Mellitus. The conclusion of this study is that there is an effect of home care services. on the level of family independence.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to understand the professionalism of teachers as educators and seek to improve it in order to improve the quality of education. The research method used is a literature study based on references related to relevant topics. The following are the results of this study: (1) Indicators of professional teacher success can be seen from the quality of the teacher's process and student learning outcomes, (2) Teacher competence, which includes 5 components, namely: pedagogic competence, personality competence, social competence, professional competence, and leadership competence, is a must for teachers to improve the quality of education, and (3) Conducting upgrading, seminars, workshops or training is an effort that can be made by teachers to increase teacher professionalism.

Abstract

Performance is a work achievement or the result of a person's work based on the quantity and quality achieved in carrying out its functions in accordance with the responsibilities received. The main objective of this study is to determine the effect of leadership, work discipline and work environment on employee performance (study at PT. Antilope Madju Puri Indah). The research design uses causal quantitative methods, namely knowing the influence of the variables studied. The objects in this study are employees of PT. Antilope Madju Puri Indah as many as 100 respondents. The data collection tool uses a questionnaire that has been tested for validity and reliability which is distributed via the Google form. Data analysis was carried out using Smart-PLS (Partial Least Square) through testing the outer model, inner model and hypothesis testing. The results showed that the Leadership Variable had an effect on Employee Performance, Work Discipline Variable had no effect on Employee Performance and Work Environment Variable had had an effect on Employee Performance at PT. Antilope Madju Puri Indah.

Abstract

Perspektif kristiani melihat filsafat merupakan cara manusia memahami makna, panggilan dan arti dari kehidupan. Filsafat kristen ialah pengembangan yang dikarakteristikkan dari tradisi kristen sehingga berbeda dengan Filsafat umum atau sekuler. Seorang Guru Pendidikan Agama Kristen  harus dapat melihat bagaimana maksud dalam pendidikan kristen itu sendiri. Ada dua pendekatan dalam memahami pendidikan kristen yakni pendekatan metode ethical (etika) yang menuntut disiplin moral untuk mencapai tujuan dan pendekatan metode intelektual menuntut pengetahuan kebenaran Injil untuk mencapai tujuan. Filsafat pendidikan Kristen adalah Teistis yang berakar pada kebenaran firman Tuhan. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif yang bersifat studi pustaka (library research) yang menggunakan buku-buku dan literatur-literatur lainnya sebagai objek yang utama. Panggilan sebagai Guru Pendidikan Agama Kristen yang patut diteladani, baik dalam perkataan dan juga perbuatannya harus memiliki syarat. Yesus mempunyai integritas yang tinggi serta perkataanNya selalu benar serta selaras dengan perbuatanNya. Keteladanan akan seorang guru PAK akan memberikan dampak positif kepada peserta didik, sehingga peserta didik akan meniru setiap apa yang dilakukan seorang guru PAK.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh Financial Technology (FinTech), Intellectual Capital, dan Literasi Keuangan terhadap Kinerja Keuangan pada perusahaan perbankan yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia dari tahun 2018 hingga 2022. Data sekunder dikumpulkan dari website resmi Otoritas Jasa Keuangan dan website masing-masing bank. Pendekatan penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa Financial Technology berpengaruh negatif terhadap kinerja keuangan, sementara Intellectual Capital berpengaruh positif. Literasi Keuangan juga berpengaruh negatif terhadap kinerja keuangan. Penelitian selanjutnya sebaiknya melibatkan jenis perusahaan lainnya untuk mencakup keseluruhan perusahaan di Indonesia dan menambahkan variabel lain untuk analisis yang lebih komprehensif.

Abstract

English as one of the international languages has many benefits that can be felt by its users both from a social and economic perspective. This study aims to dig up information about the effect of English language skills on the economic level of the family using the literature review or literature review method. The results of this study explain that being able to work in a multinational/international company and several elite agencies can have an impact on improving a person's economy and society. It's just that one of the requirements that someone must have to get in these companies is to have the ability to speak English both orally and in writing.

Abstract

This study aims to improve the ability to write drama texts in class XI students of SMK Negeri 7 Medan using flipbook learning media. This learning media was chosen because it can encourage students to be creative in expressing their ideas in written form. This research is a type of classroom action research (CAR) with the main problem being that students have difficulty expressing their ideas or ideas through writing and are less active in learning. This study consisted of 3 stages, namely pre-cycle, cycle 1 and cycle 2 with a minimum completeness target (KKM) of 75. The research procedures included planning, implementing actions, observing and reflecting. The subjects of this study were students of class XI Hotel 2 at SMK Negeri 7 Medan consisting of 30 students. The research results obtained at the pre-cycle stage were 43.75% completeness, in cycle 1 it increased to 62.35%, and after cycle 2 it increased again to 87.5%. This means that there is an increase in the skills of writing drama scripts using flipbook media, so that this media is effectively used to write drama scripts.

Abstract

An economic crisis is a serious challenge that can affect the economic stability of a country. Shariah management strategies It has proven to be an effective and sustainable approach to dealing with the economic crisis. The purpose of this study is to analyze the Shariah management process that can be used to address it.  economic crises. This study describes the fundamental characteristics of the Islamic economic system, including principles such as fairness, sustainability, transparency, and compliance with Sharia law. In situations of economic crisis, the Islamic Management Strategy builds on these principles to promote long-term economic stability.
