Abstract

This study uses the K-Means clustering algorithm to examine furniture sales patterns at Eka Perabot Store in Tangerang City. Understanding sales patterns can help the store develop better inventory management and marketing strategies. This study analyzed sales data to identify clustering patterns based on product price and quantity. Sales data collection, preprocessing, and the application of the K-Means algorithm using RapidMiner software were all part of the research process. The cleaned data was then grouped into clusters based on similar characteristics, resulting in product groups with specific characteristics, such as low-priced and high-selling products. The results showed that organizing with K-Means successfully divided products into categories appropriate to the store. The K-Means clustering method proved effective in helping Eka Perabot Store understand customer preferences and develop better sales strategies because each cluster has unique characteristics that can be used as a basis for business decision-making.

Abstract

The Management Information System (MIS) plays a crucial role in optimizing organizational performance through integrated data management and timely decision-making. This paper analyzes the contribution of MIS to operational efficiency and decision quality using literature-based research across recent academic studies. Results indicate that MIS enhances data accuracy, streamlines workflow, and provides strategic insights supporting managerial decisions. Effective MIS implementation requires strong leadership commitment, adequate technological infrastructure, and user competence. These findings reaffirm the significance of MIS as a strategic asset for achieving competitive advantage and organizational sustainability.

Abstract

This study implements a Network Monitoring System (NMS) based on Cacti with genetic algorithm optimization to improve network monitoring efficiency at SMK PGRI 1 Tangerang. Cacti is used to visualize network performance such as bandwidth, CPU load, and uptime in real-time. The objective of this study is to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of network monitoring through polling interval optimization so that the system remains efficient without overloading the server. The research methods include literature study, observation, interviews, and system simulation. The results show that the implementation of Cacti with the genetic method can improve network stability, accelerate fault detection, and reduce the Mean Time to Repair (MTTR) by up to 35%, from an average of 90 minutes to 30 minutes per incident, as well as decrease the frequency of failures from 4 times to 2 times per week. The results include graphical visualizations that help technicians and teachers interpret data, such as memory usage and load average. The system has proven effective in improving school network stability with minimal overhead. He implementation of a Network Monitoring System using Cacti with the genetic method has been proven to increase efficiency, stability, and fault detection speed in the network of SMK PGRI 1 Tangerang. This system assists technicians in real-time monitoring and accelerates the troubleshooting process. For future development, the system can be integrated with automatic notifications such as Telegram Bot or Email Alert and expanded to cloud-based monitoring to be more adaptive to modern network needs.Top of Form

Abstract

Freshwater fish farm is one of the most profitable industrial sectors in Indonesia. With a tropical climate and high market demand, freshwater fish farm widely practiced by our community. However, technological advancements are still minimally applied in this sector. The development of a special device that can provide scheduled fish feeding and can be configured via a mobile application would greatly assist the operations of freshwater fish farmers in our country. This device can solve several problems in this sector including the number of human resources, negligence in feeding schedules, and errors in feed quantity. This research was conducted using methods of observation, literature study, and system design with the aim to designing and building an IoT-based (Internet of Things) feeder device. The system is integrated with the Arduino IoT Cloud service as a server for the application and device, allowing users to control the feeder device using the Arduino IoT Remote application available on smartphones. The feeder device is designed using Wemos D1 Mini ESP8288 as the microcontroller, HC-SR04 ultrasonic sensor to detect remaining feed in the feeder tube, relay module to control the motor, and synchronous motor to dispense the feed. The development of this tool is expected to contribute to the implementation of technological advancements in all industrial sectors in our country.

Abstract

Indonesian language has various forms depending on its context and usage situation. In the current digital era, university students as active social media users exhibit dynamic variations in language use. This study aims to describe the types of Indonesian language variations used by students and to identify factors influencing their language choices. This research employs a descriptive qualitative method with observation and interview techniques involving students at Universitas Pamulang. The results indicate that students tend to use informal language variations in online communication, while formal language remains used in academic contexts. This shift reflects the influence of digital media on linguistic behavior, yet it does not entirely replace the use of proper Indonesian.
