Abstract

This research aims to determine the influence of organizational climate and work discipline on employee performance at PT Juragan Wifi Indonesia. The research uses a quantitative approach with primary and secondary data collected through survey methods and analyzed using multiple linear regression. The research results show that organizational climate and work discipline have a significant positive impact on employee performance, both partially and simultaneously. An improvement in these two variables is expected to optimally enhance employee performance, with management support to create a conducive work environment and consistent discipline standards.

Abstract

Serdang Bedagai Regency is an administrative area located on the coast and has Huta Beach Mangrove Forest. Some mangrove areas are located in Huta Mangrove Forest Beach. The land condition of mangrove areas as part of ecotourism development is the subject of this study. The data collection method is based on primary and secondary data, and then analyzed with quantitative and qualitative data. The results showed that Mangrove Forest Beach mangrove ecotourism in the Conditionally Suitable (S3) category has a tourism suitability index (IKW) of 37%, 27%, 37%, 32%, 37%, 37%, and 42% at stations 1,2,3,4,5,6, and 7. The types of mangroves found at each observation station are Avicennia officinalis and Rhizopora mucronata.

Abstract

Mangrove ecosystems are forests that grow in tidal areas, especially on protected beaches and river estuaries that are flooded at high tide and free from puddles at low tide and whose plant communities are tolerant of heavy metals. Heavy metals concentrations in marine sediments have been widely used to assess longterm anthropogenic inputs into the marine environment. Mangrove ecosystems have the ability to store heavy metals such us iron, manganese, Cr, Cu, Co, Ni, Pb, Zinc and Cd, which is known as biosorption. This type of mangrove (Rhizopora Apiculata) is one of several mangrove species that can absorb heavy metals. They do this througha dilution process, which dilutes the concentration of heavy metals in their body tissues, which reduces the metal’s toxicity. The aim of this research is to determine the levels of heavy metals in Rhizopora Apiculata mangrove roots based on the parameters copper (Cu), Lead (Pb), Chromium (Cr), Cadmium (Cd) and zink in Bagan Asahan Baru Village, Tanjung Balai. The results of the analysis of test data for the levels of heavy metals Copper, Lead, Chromium, Cadmium and Zink that were obtained were then compared with the water quality standarts that have been determine in Appendix IV PPRI Number 22 of 2021 concerning water quality standarts and the like. The results of heavy metal measurements on copper (Cu), Lead (Pb), Chromium (Cr), Cadmium (Cd) and Zink carried out in the Baristand Medan Laboratory, it can be concluded that the heavy metal concent in the roots of Rhizopora Apiculata Mangroves in the waters of Bagan Asahan Village Baru does not meet the quality standarts of PPRI No. 22 of 2021 class IV.

Abstract

Skipjack tuna is a fish that has very high economic value and skipjack tuna catch is export scale which is exported to various countries, such as Japan, Thailand, and England. Skipjack tuna is the main community catch around Aceh and Sumatra's western waters, so people depend on Skipjack tuna catch in large quantities. Sea Surface Temperature (SST), as measured by satellites, is the condition of the sea surface layer because infrared radiation is absorbed and reflected by surface water molecules. The thickness of the water surface whose temperature is measured depends on the wavelength of the radiation. For wavelengths between 3-14 μm, the thickness is less than 0,1 mm, because what is measured is the water surface temperature, its use in oceanography depends on the ability to interpret it, namely to determine the temperature in the surface layer up to several meters down, which according to experts call Sea Surface Temperature (SST). The reason for the high correlation between SST and skipjack tuna number caught in the west-east season is thought to be because the skipjack tuna distribution in the water area is not only influenced by one particular oceanographic factor. The low correlation between SST and skipjack tuna number caught in the second transition season is thought to be due to the optimum temperature in that season for skipjack tuna body, where the results from satellite imagery of the first transition season have SPL of 28,3-29,4 ºC. The highest catch of skipjack tuna occurred in December 2023 with a total of 2.023.543 kg, and the lowest was in June 2023 with a value of 12,678 kg. In the linear regression analysis, the relationship between SST and skipjack tuna catches in transition season II received a significance (F) value of 0,05, where sea surface temperature affected skipjack tuna catches.

Abstract

Macrozoobenthos is a group of organisms that live in or on the surface of the bottom sediment of waters and have a length of more than 1mm. One of the habitats of macrozoobenthos is the freshwater ecosystem in the Bah Biak River, Pematangsiantar City, North Sumatra Province. It is known that macrozoobenthos can provide food availability for other organisms and as an indication of the suitability of the potential quality of waters, especially pollution indicators and play an important role in the decomposition process of organic matter in sediments in freshwater ecosystems so that the macrozoobenthos community can be used as an indicator of the balance of aquatic ecosystems. This study aims to; To identify the diversity, uniformity and dominance of Macrozoobenthos in the Bah Biak River area, Pematangsiantar City, North Sumatra Province. This study used a combination of two transect methods, namely line transects and quadrat transects. Determination of the research location using purposive sampling techniques. Data analysis using qualitative and quantitative analysis. The results of the study showed that there were 4 species of Macrozoobenthos consisting of 2 classes with a total of 95 individuals. The diversity of Macrozoobenthos in the Bah Biak River, Pematangsiantar City, North Sumatra Province is classified as moderate with a diversity index of H’ = 1.27 – 1.35, the evenness index is classified as stable ranging from 0.92 – 0.97 and the dominance index is classified as high.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to determine work discipline and motivation on employee performance. To determine the influence of work discipline and motivation on employee performance at PT.Aerofood Indonesia ACS. This research method uses a quantitative asociative causal, data collection techniques using questionnaires. The population is 63 employees, sampling can use saturated sampling, so the sample is all 63 employees. Data analysis uses validity tests, reliability tests, classical assumption tests, multiple regression analysis, multiple correlation coefficient analysis, coefficient of determination analysis and hypothesis testing. Based on the test results in the table above, the tcount value is 10.103 and the significance is 0.000. Because tcount is greater than ttable (10,103 > 2,000) and the significance is smaller than 5%, Ha is accepted and H0 is rejected, it can be stated that Work Discipline (X1) has a significant effect on Employee Performance (Y).  Based on the test results in the table above, the t-count value is 12.193 and the significance is 0.000. Because tcount is greater than ttable (12,193 > 2,000) and the significance is smaller than 5% (0,000), Ha is accepted and H0 is rejected, it can be stated that Motivation (X2) has a significant effect on Employee Performance (Y). Based on the results of the analysis in the table above, namely the ANOVA test, the Fcount value was 421,217, while the Ftable  (α 0,05) for n =60 was 2.76. so count (α 0.05) or 421,217 >2.76, with a significant level of 0.000 because 0.000<little from Ftable. 0.05, then it can be said that Work Discipline (X1), Motivation (X2) and together have an effect on Performance Employees (Y).

Abstract

Layang fish is a type of fast swimmer, pelagic, sedentary and likes to group, lives in waters with high salt content (32-34 ppm) and likes clear waters. Layang fish are mostly caught in waters within 150-200 ml from the coast. Little is known about fish migration, but there is a tendency that during the day schools of fish move to deeper water layers and at night to the upper layers of water (TARIGAN, 2019). Chlorophyll-a is one of the indicator parameters of water fertility level found in phytoplankton. Chlorophyll-a concentration is commonly referred to as the photosynthetic pigment of phytoplankton photosynthesis. In marine waters, the chlorophyll-a index can be associated with fish production or more precisely, it can describe the level of productivity of fishing areas (Safruddin and Zainuddin, 2008).This research was conducted using the survey method, which is to collect existing data in the field by making direct observations by following the fishing process with fishermen for one month, and taking data on the catch of Kite fish at the Department of Marine and Fisheries, Silbolga Nusantara Fishing Port. Chlorophyll-a image data that will be overlaid with fish catches that have been categorized based on the number of catches and fishing units. The success of the fishing process carried out by fishermen depends on the fishing area, if you know the potential fishing area, it will facilitate fishermen in the fishing process. Fluctuations in catches are inseparable from several optimum oceanographic factors in these waters, namely, temperature and chlorophyll-a. Fish will look for the optimum temperature in their body and chlorophyll is useful for the food chain process in a body of water. The results of the regression test show that the concentration of chlorophyll-a has a “Moderately Strong Relationship” but there are also several factors that are not measured in this study that affect the catch of kite fish.

Abstract

The Muara River is a river in Muara District, North Tapanuli Regency. In the river there are various types of macrozoobenthos which have a big influence on the ecosystem in the river. The aim is to determine the diversity of macrozoobenthos and the dominant types of macrozoobenthos in the Muara River, Muara District, North Tapanuli Regency. The type of macrozoobenthos found in the Muara River is the Gastropoda class with 2 species, namely Pillaampullacea and Red-rimmed with a total of 59 individuals. The Bivalvia class consist of 1 species, namely Polymesodaerosa with a total of 25 individuals, so the total found was 84 individuals. The diversity value (H’) in the Muara River is 1,07 in the medium category. The uniformity value (E) of 0,97 is included in the stable category. The dominance index (C) value is 0,35, which is low. The Macrozoobenthos that dominates in the Muara River is the Gastropoda class at 70%, while the Bivalvia class is at 30%.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the Influence of Leadership and Work Discipline on Employee Performance at PT Jovenindo Inti Solusi Jakarta, both partially and simultaneously. This research method uses a quantitative method with a sample of 78 respondents, data analysis techniques used are: validity test, reliability test, normality test, multicollinearity test, autocorrelation test, heteroscedasticity test, multiple linear regression test, multiple correlation coefficient test, determination coefficient analysis test, t test and F test. Partially, leadership on employee performance obtained a Sig value <0.05 (0.001 <0.05) and a calculated t value> t table (3.412> 1.99). These results mean that there is a significant influence of leadership on employee performance and as a basis for the decision of the hypothesis taken, namely accepting Ha and rejecting Ho. The partial significance test of work discipline on employee performance obtained a Sig value <0.05 (0.000 <0.05) and a calculated t value> t table (5.298> 1.99). These results mean that there is a significant influence of work discipline on employee performance and as a basis for the decision of the hypothesis taken, namely accepting Ha and rejecting Ho. The simultaneous significance test of leadership and work discipline on performance obtained a calculated F value> F table (34.969> 3.12) and a sig value (0.000 <0.05). These results mean that there is a significant influence of leadership and work discipline on employee performance and as a basis for the decision of the hypothesis taken, namely accepting Ha and rejecting Ho.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of Compensation and Work Motivation on Employee Performance at PT Mandiri Express Forwarder BSD City South Tangerang both partially and simultaneously. The method used is quantitative method. The sampling technique used was random sampling with a sample of 56 respondents. Data analysis using validity test, reliability test, classical assumption test, regression analysis, correlation coefficient analysis, determination coefficient analysis and hypothesis testing. The results of this study Hypothesis test obtained t count > t table (3.001 > 1,670). with a significance value of 0.000> 0.5, so with this H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted, meaning that there is a significant influence between Compensation (X1) on Employee Performance (Y) at PT Mandiri Express Forwarder. Hypothesis testing obtained t count > t table (4.601 > 1,670) with a significance value of 0.000> 0.5, so with this H0 is rejected and H2  is accepted, meaning that there is a significant influence between Work Motivation (X2) on Employee Performance (Y) at PT Mandiri Express Forwarder. Compensation and Motivation have a significant effect on Employee Performance with the hypothesis test value obtained f count > f table (32.119 > 3.150) with a significance value of 0.000> 0.5, thus H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted meaning that there is a significant influence between Compensation (X1) and Work Motivation (X2) on Employee Performance (Y) at PT Mandiri Express Forwarder.
