Abstract

The aim of this research is to determine the effect of Reward and Punishment on Employee Performance both partially and simultaneously at PT Habibi Maulana Teknik in Cikarang. This research method uses quantitative methods with a descriptive approach. The data collection methods used are primary data and secondary data. The sampling technique in this research used the saturated sample, namely 60 respondents. Data analysis used the SPSS version 29 program. The analysis techniques used were validity test, reliability test, classical assumption test, normality test, multicollinearity test, heteroscedasticity test, auto correlation test, simple linear regression analysis, multiple linear regression analysis, correlation coefficient test, coefficient of determination test and hypothesis test. Partially testing the hypothesis for the Reward variable (X1) obtained a value of tcount > ttable (2.253 > 1.671) and a significance value of 0.028 < 0.05. This means that Reward (X1) has a significant effect on Employee Performance (Y). Partially testing the hypothesis for the Punishment variable (X2) obtained a value of tcount > ttable (1.927 > 1.671) and a significance value of 0.059 < 0.05. This means that punishment (X2) has a significant effect on employee performance (Y). Simultaneous hypothesis testing obtained a value of fcount > ftable (10.593 > 3.162) and a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05. So it can be concluded that Reward (X1) and Punishment (X2) simultaneously have a significant effect on Employee Performance (Y). The determination obtained by R Square is 0.271, meaning that the Reward and Punishment variables together have an influence contribution of 27.1% on employee performance. Meanwhile, the remaining 72.9% was influenced by other factors not examined in this study.

Abstract

An expert system is an application of artificial intelligence that can assist in the process of disease diagnosis. This study developed an expert system for diagnosing skin diseases using the forward chaining method, implemented in the Java programming language. The system is designed for use at Pondok Pesantren Ashaburratib, aiming to provide a fast and user-friendly diagnostic tool. The knowledge base of the system consists of various medical rules related to common skin disease symptoms. Testing results indicate that the system is capable of diagnosing skin diseases with adequate accuracy and has potential for further development.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the level of education as a potential human resource in improving the community's economy in Cogreg Village, Parung District, Bogor Regency. This research method uses a descriptive - qualitative method. SWOT analysis was used by considering opinions obtained through direct interviews from government respondents, teachers, and the community. A group discussion (FGD) was then conducted with the Village Head, Village Secretary, and Village Administration Section Head. The results and discussion of this research show several aspects of strengths and opportunities that can be utilized. The results show that Cogreg Village has considerable human resource potential, however, the lack of awareness and development in the field of education raises several problems, including: low levels of community awareness about the importance of education, difficulties in accessing schools from home, and inadequate school facilities. In this study, it was found that the right strategy is to implement the Strenght - Opportunity (SO) Strategy, namely the development of high-quality education programs. This strategy utilizes the advantages of competent educators to design attractive and quality programs. Thus, it is expected to increase student motivation, increase participation, and involve parents more actively in the education process. and Weakness - Opportunity (WO) strategies, namely increasing access to education. This step aims to overcome limitations in education access and infrastructure by utilizing existing opportunities, such as the development of education technology and distance learning. In this way, it is expected that students can more easily access education despite transportation constraints.

Abstract

This research aims to determine how the potential and quality of human resources affect the development and success of MSMEs in Cogreg Village, as well as determine the barriers or challenges faced by human resources in the development of MSMEs, such as lack of access to information, capital, or support from related institutions. This research method uses a descriptive qualitative method with SWOT analysis obtained through interviews and Forum Group Discussions (FGDs) with community representatives in Cogreg Village, Parung Sub-district, Bogor Regency. The results and discussion of this research show that the potential of human resources in Cogreg Village with the existence of local skills and knowledge can be utilized for the development of MSMEs. However, there are several obstacles such as limited technical training, limited capital, some MSME actors lack business legality and limited access to modern technology. In this study, the right strategy was obtained, namely implementing the Strenght - Opportunity (SO) strategy, namely making unique products that are in accordance with market preferences by utilizing the strengths of human resources and developing online platforms to sell MSME products and using advances in digital technology to reach a wider market. Weakness - Opportunity (WO) strategies, namely conducting training and providing access to modern technology to take advantage of digital market opportunities and seeking funding opportunities from government programs or microfinance institutions to overcome capital shortages and improve facilities.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of communication and teamwork on employee performance at PT Amaan Indonesia Sejahtera. Effective communication and solid teamwork are believed to improve overall employee performance. According to (Kamaluddin et al.: 2023), it shows that communication has a positive effect on performance, both in the context of interpersonal communication and good teamwork. Then (Hamiruddin et al.: 2019) added that teamwork is a group of individuals who work together to achieve the same goal. Meanwhile, (Hasibuan: 2019) showed that effective collaboration increases efficiency and innovation which has a positive impact on performance. The research method used is quantitative with a descriptive approach, by distributing questionnaires to 52 employees at PT Amaan Indonesia Sejahtera. The research sample was taken randomly from the employee population of the Bogor Branch company. The data collected was analyzed using multiple regression methods, to test the relationship between Communication and Teamwork on Employee Performance. The results of the analysis show that good communication has an impact on improving employee performance with the results of the t-test value of 11.992> t table 2.010 with a significance of 0.000<0.05. Teamwork also has a positive effect on employee performance with the value of the t-test of 9.082> t table 2.010 with a significance of 0.000<0.05. The correlation coefficient (R) value of 0.871 indicates a strong relationship between communication and teamwork on employee performance. With a determination coefficient value (R²) of 76%, which means that variations in employee performance can be explained by communication and teamwork. In addition, the results of the F test show a calculated f value of 77.153> f table value of 3.19 with a significance of 0.000<0.05, this proves that the regression model used is significant. This means that there is a positive and significant influence simultaneously between communication and teamwork on employee performance at PT Amaan Indonesia Sejahtera. The conclusion of this study is that communication and teamwork are important factors in improving employee performance.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to determine the influence of motivation and the physical work environment on employee performance at PT. Astra Otopart (Motoquick) South Tangerang.  partially or simultaneously. The method used is quantitative. The sampling technique used saturation and the sample obtained in this study was 60 employees. Data analysis uses validity tests, reliability tests, classical assumption tests, regression analysis, coefficients, coefficient analysis, coefficient of determination analysis and hypothesis testing. The results of this research show that motivation (X1) has a significant effect on employee performance (Y) with the regression equation Y = 9.512 + 1.185 X1 + 0.352 In X2, the value obtained is t count > t table, namely (3.449 > 1.669), thus the variables X1 and Which means that motivation variables and the physical work environment simultaneously influence employee performance. also obtained through simultaneous hypothesis testing f table > f count, namely (64.314 > 2.75). Which means that motivation variables and the physical work environment simultaneously influence employee performance. Analysis of the coefficient of determination shows that 66.8% of the influence of fulfillment and motivation variables has on employee performance, while 33.2% depends on other factors not included in this research.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the Effect of Price and Promotion on Purchasing Decisions of Avian Wall Paint Products at PT. Artha Jaya Mas Ciwaru, Serang City, Banten. This type of research is quantitative research and the data collection technique used in this study is a questionnaire. The population in this study were all buyers of Avian Wall Paint Products at PT. Artha Jaya Mas Ciwaru, Serang City, Banten with a sample size of 100 respondents. Then an analysis was carried out on the data obtained by classical assumption tests, multiple linear regression, t, F tests, and coefficient tests. Based on the results of the analysis, it shows that the validity and reliability tests of all question items submitted are valid and reliable. The results of the classical assumption test show that this study is normally distributed, there is no multicollinearity, shows heteroscedasticity, and autocorrelation in the regression model. The results of the study show that partially the price has a positive and significant effect on purchasing decisions. This can be seen from the results of the T test, the T count value> T table is 5.183> 1.984 and (sig 0.05). Promotion has a positive and significant effect on purchasing decisions. This can be seen from the results of the T test, the T count value> T table is (11.999> 1.984) and (sig 0.05). Price and Promotion simultaneously have a positive and significant effect on purchasing decisions as seen from the F count value> F table or (76.170> 3.09), this is also reinforced by the ρ value <Sig 0.05 or (0.000 <0.05) with a relationship like this there is a meaning that the better the price and promotion, the more it will increase the Purchase Decision for Avian Wall Paint Products at PT. Artha Jaya Mas Ciwaru, Serang City, Banten.

Abstract

Muara Panton is an estuary located in Bagan Asahan Village, Tanjung Balai District, Asahan Regency. These waters are known as one of the largest fish producers in North Sumatra Province. Apart from that, it is also used as a ship crossing. The impact of these activities is that heavy metals enter and settle at the bottom of the waters and have a residence time, resulting in contamination by shellfish that will be consumed. This research aims to determine the content of heavy metals lead, copper, chromium and zinc in the feather clam (Anadara atiquanta) in Muara Panton, Bagan Asahan Village, Tanjung Balai District. The implementation is by collecting samples of feather clams (Anadara antiquata) to be tested for heavy metals in the shells to find out the levels of heavy metals found in feather clams in the Panton estuary which will be carried out from July to September 2023. Measurement of the concentration of heavy metals T Lead, Chromium using the Absorption Spectrophotometer (SSA) method. The results of the heavy metal content found in Muara Panton, Tanjung Balai District show that the average heavy metal content of lead is <0.07, chromium with an average of <0.005 mg/kg at all stations with safe limits for consumption of heavy metals lead and chromium in Muara Panton, Bagan Asahan Village, Tanjung Balai subdistrict refers to the PTWI (Provision Tolerable Weekly Intake) value issued by JECFA in FAO/WHO (2004).

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to examine the Influence of promotion and consumer trust on purchase decisions in Shopee E-Commerce (A Study on students of the management study program, Faculty of Economics and Business, Pamulang University), both partially and simultaneously. The sampling technique used random sampling to obtain a sample of 96 respondents in this study. The research findings indicate that promotions (X1) and consumer trust (X2) significantly influence purchase decisions, with a regression equation of  Y = 2.501 + 0.543 (X1) + 0.620 (X2). The coefficient of correlation, indicating the strength of the relationship between the independent variables and the dependent variable, is 0.838, indicating a strong correlation. The coefficient of determination is 0.703, suggesting that promotions and cunsomer trust influence on purchase decisions in the amount of 70,3%, while the remaining 29,7% is influenced by other factors not examined in this study. The hypothesis test results show that the computed F value (110.019) exceeds the tabulated F value (3.094), and the p-value (0.000) is less than the significance level (0.05), leading to the rejection of the null hypothesis (H0) and acceptance of the alternate hypothesis (H3). This indicates a significant simultaneous effect of promotion and consumer trust on purchase decisions in Shopee E-Commerce (A Study on students of the management study program, Faculty of Economics and Business, Pamulang University).

Abstract

This Research ains to determine the effect of leadership style and work environment on employee performance at PT Damai Indah Golf Bumi Serpong Damai.This research uses quantitative methods to research certain populations or samples, sampling is generally random and data analysis is quantitative/statistical. The results of this research found that partially leadership style and work environment had a positive and significant effect on workmorale.Leadership style is the quality and quantity of work results achieved by an employee in carrying out his duties in accordance with the responsibilities given tohim. In this case, the influence of a leader is very decisive, because to realize goals,the company needs to apply a leadership style or work pattern that is consistent with the work situation it faces. Apart from that, a leader in carrying out his duties must try to create and maintain good relationships with his subordinates so that they can work productively. In this way, company productivity can be indirectly increased. The success of a leader in his leadership style, where there are differences in behavior between individuals faced, will support the formation of aneffective leadership style.The purpose of this research is to determine the influence of leadership style and work environment on employee morale at PT Damai Indah Golf Bumi Serpong Damai. The population in this study were all employees of PT Damai Indah Golf Bumi Serpong Damai, totaling 50 employees. Determining the number of samplestaken as respondents using a saturated sample, namely using the entire populationas a sample. The data collection techniques used in this research were questionnaires and interviews. The analysis techniques used in this research are multiple linear regression analysis, classical assumptions, hypothesis testing, andcoefficient of determination.
