Abstract

Gold is one of the precious metals that serves as a standard medium of financial exchange in various countries. Additionally, gold is used as an asset for investment purposes. This is due to its zero-inflation characteristic, which acts as a hedge against inflation and economic uncertainty. Antam gold is one type of gold that attracts high interest from both investors and the general public. However, the fluctuating price of Antam gold requires investors to continuously monitor its price movements.This study aims to predict the value of Antam gold from January 13 to January 31, 2025, using the ARIMA decomposition and ARCH-GARCH methods. Based on the research findings, the predicted price of Antam gold for the given period shows an increasing trend. The decomposition-ARIMA (1,1,1) method, which integrates time series decomposition into trend, seasonal, cyclical, and random components while applying ARIMA to the random component, is identified as more accurate than the GARCH(1,0) model. This is evidenced by the MAPE value of the decomposition-ARIMA model, which is 0.185%, slightly better than the GARCH model at 0.898%.

Abstract

A series of Community Service activities has been carried out, focusing on assisting the downstream processing of gambir products and liquid waste in Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises, as well as in the Gambir Farmers Association in Mungka District, Fifty Cities Regency. This activity was motivated by the challenges faced by members of the association, who produce gambir soap, gambir tea, and catechins that are not yet free from tannins. Unfortunately, the gambir soap produced lacks market value, has unappealing packaging, and does not provide optimal benefits to users, leading to decreased buyer interest. Additionally, the liquid waste generated from gambir production has not been adequately managed or treated to be environmentally friendly. Prior to the implementation of activities at the partner location, preparations were made, including sampling wastewater as a model for treating gambir production wastewater, clarifying wastewater, and enhancing the process of making gambir-based soap in the chemistry analysis laboratory at the ATI Polytechnic in Padang. In this activity, we aimed to provide solutions by broadening the partners' understanding of the downstream processing of gambir products and waste. Three key issues were addressed: catechin isolation, the production of catechin-based beauty soap, and the treatment of liquid waste from gambir production. The downstream processing of gambir products into more commercially valuable items is expected to provide solutions, while the liquid waste can eventually be processed into clean water, with the residue being converted into fertilizer. The activity was attended by 40 members of the Gambir Farmers Association, as well as the village head of Talang Maur, local officials, and the association's management.

Abstract

This community service aims to explore the role of campus bazaar stands in improving students' entrepreneurial spirit. Using the PAR method, a community service approach based on facts that occur in the field. This community service involves students of Sunan Giri University Surabaya who have participated in campus bazaar activities, students involved in the bazaar form useful networks and do good entrepreneurship among fellow participants. The results of the community service show that participation in campus bazaar stands not only hones technical business skills such as financial management and marketing strategies, but also develops soft skills such as communication, negotiation, and leadership. In addition, campus bazaar stands function as a platform for innovation and networking, which are important for future business success. This community service concludes that campus bazaar stands are an effective means of developing students' entrepreneurial spirit, supporting innovation, and facilitating practical learning in the context of entrepreneurship.

Abstract

Tujuan dari kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah meningkatkan penguasaan kosa kata bahasa inggris pada anak melalui penggunaan media visual. Sasaran dari kegiatan ini adalah anak usia sekolah dasar dari kelas 1 s.d kelas 5 yang yang berjumlah 14 orang yang berlokasi di Rumah Bermain dan Belajar, Griya Nabilla Permai, Kelurahan Tapa, Kecamatan Sipatana, Kota Gorontalo. Kegiatan pengabdian ini dilaksanakan selama 3 (tiga) kali pertemuan dengan menggunakan strategi, dan media visual yang berbeda, yakni MyPad dan Flashcard. Hasil dari kegiatan pengabdian ini menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan media visual berkontribusi terhadap peningkatan jumlah kosa kata yang dikuasai oleh anak-anak. Selain itu, anak-anak menunjukkan antusiasme lebih tinggi dalam belajar bahasa Inggris. Dengan demikian, media visual terbukti efektif dalam meningkatkan penguasaan kosakata bahasa Inggris pada anak sekolah dasar.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengeksplorasi dampak sosial, budaya, dan akademik yang dialami mahasiswa Indonesia asal Provinsi Gorontalo yang menempuh pendidikan tinggi di luar negeri dan di universitas terkemuka di Indonesia. Penelitian ini berfokus pada tantangan adaptasi, termasuk gegar budaya, seperti yang dicontohkan oleh pengalaman salah satu peserta, Wulan, selama studinya di Michigan State University. Penelitian ini mengkaji lebih lanjut pengalaman serupa dari sembilan peserta lainnya yang belajar di Sydney University, Monash University, Leicester University, Universitas Gadjah Mada, Universitas Indonesia, dan Institut Teknologi Bandung. Melalui analisis naratif, penelitian ini menyoroti penyesuaian budaya, interaksi sosial, dan integrasi akademik yang dihadapi oleh para siswa tersebut. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa meskipun pada awalnya terdapat kesulitan seperti hambatan bahasa, perbedaan norma sosial, dan lingkungan akademik yang asing, siswa pada akhirnya beradaptasi dan mendapatkan pengalaman lintas budaya dan akademik yang berharga. Pengalaman-pengalaman ini tidak hanya meningkatkan pertumbuhan pribadi mereka tetapi juga berkontribusi pada institusi asal mereka melalui transfer pengetahuan dan perspektif global.

Abstract

Limited access to innovative educational methods and materials and lack of understanding of leadership among students are major problems in developing innovation in the learning process. The Teaching Program at Sunan Giri University Surabaya aims to provide solutions to these problems by equipping students with skills in creative teaching and leadership. The method used is to develop a combination of intensive training for students. The form of activities includes interactive learning and integrated leadership sessions with a focus on developing students' critical thinking and leadership skills. The results of this activity show an increase in the quality of student teaching and interest, as well as contributing to the development of the community around the campus.

Abstract

Chronic Energy Deficiency (KEK) is a state of malnutrition, Pathological due to a relative or absolute deficiency or excess of one or more nutrients, and the measurement results of the lila are less than 23.5 cm.  According to data from the World Health Organization (WHO) in 2017, the maternal mortality rate throughout the world is estimated at 210/100,000 live births and the neonatal mortality rate has decreased by 38%, namely 36/1000 births. Of all maternal deaths, this is severe bleeding, generally bleeding after childbirth, postpartum infections. , high blood pressure during pregnancy (preeclampsia and eclampsia).  The aim of this activity is to provide nutrition awareness education for teenagers to prevent chronic energy deficiency (KEK). The method for implementing this Community Service Program is community education in the form of health education, evaluated with a pre-test and post-test. The method for implementing the community service is by providing nutrition-aware youth education by means of discussions using ebooklet media about balanced nutrition and KEK. The number of participants who attended was 50 people, 2 students, and 5 midwives. Activities start from the planning, implementation, evaluation, to report preparation stages. As a result of the activity, there was a change in knowledge with an average pre-test of 90.5% of participants' knowledge being in the poor category and post-test results of 95.5% being in the good category. In the skills aspect, all participants present (100%) were able to understand nutritional awareness to prevent CED. Conclusion. Educational activities about nutritional awareness for the prevention of CED can be an effort to increase knowledge and promote nutritional health in the prevention and control of CED. It is hoped that this activity can become a health promotion strategy in preventing and controlling SEZ

Abstract

Law Number 24 of 2011 has a very important role in health law in ensuring the protection of participants in the National Health Insurance program (BPJS Kesehatan). The purpose of this research is to find out the protection of the Rights of BPJS Participants Based on Law No. 24 of 2011 and the Law Enforcement Mechanism in Protecting the Rights of BPJS Participants. This research uses a normative juridical approach. The data used in the study is secondary data. Secondary data is obtained by studying documents by reading, studying and analyzing literature in the form of laws and regulations, books and other sources related to this research. In the study, this law provides a legal basis for the implementation of the national health insurance program, which aims to promote public welfare by providing equal access to quality health services. The health law serves to protect the rights of BPJS participants by ensuring that they receive health services that meet the set standards without discrimination. Furthermore, this law mandates the state to provide comprehensive and inclusive health insurance. Through the role of BPJS Kesehatan, health laws also regulate the supervision and enforcement of accountability from health service providers, both in terms of service quality and financial management.

Abstract

To maintain financial stability and increase hospital profitability, accounts receivable management is essential. The purpose of this study was to assess the various approaches used to manage accounts receivable at Pusri Hospital, make policy recommendations, and increase hospital staff awareness and understanding through socialization and education. This study used a descriptive quantitative approach by analyzing financial data and conducting in-depth interviews with the head of the hospital's finance department. To determine how effective accounts receivable management is, activity and profitability ratio analysis was conducted. A conference with the head of the finance room was conducted to obtain information on current policies and practices, as well as to provide suggestions based on the results of the study. The results showed that the accounts receivable turnover of Pusri Hospital has fluctuated over the past three years. In 2022, accounts receivable turnover decreased drastically as a result of ineffective claims management. The results of the interviews showed that the hospital recognized the need for policy improvements, including the implementation of an ERP system to help manage accounts receivable in a more integrated and effective manner. This study led the hospital to commit to improving the accounts receivable management process, including socializing payment policies to patients. This study includes independent study findings that include strategic analysis and advice. They are expected to help Pusri Hospital increase profitability and maintain stable cash flow in the future.

Abstract

Pencacatan meruapakan administrasi umum yang seharusnya dilaksanakan dengan efektif dan efesiensi, seperti pencatatan laporan keuangan kususnya pada administrasi umum peserti perangat RT pada desa masing-masing sudah harus menggunakan mencatatan laporan keuangan yang efektif dan efesiensi berbasis teknologi. Maka dari latar fenomena tersebut tim PKM akan membuat dan mendampingi dalam pembuatan sistem laporan keuangan berbasis Microsoft excel pada Rt.016, Rw. 007, Perum Taman Graha Mas, Desa Jayasampurna, Kec. Serang Baru, Kabupaten Bekasi. Tujuan dari kegiatan PKM ini dilatar belakangi untuk membuat dan mendampingi pembuatan sistem laporan keuangan pada strukut kepengurusan rt perum taman graha mas di Desa Jayasampurna, Kabupaten Bekasi. Pelaksanaan kegiatan sosialisasi dan pembuatan website dilakukan dengan metode observasi langsung, sosialisasi, dan pembuatan sistem laporan keuangan berbasis Microsoft excel langsung. Hasil dari kegiatan telah dibuat sistem laporan keuangan berbasis Microsoft excel pada mitra, hasil ini memberikan dampak signifikan terhadap administrasi laporan keuangan pada mitra, dari efesiensi waktu dan sistem yang tidak rumit sehingga hasil dari PKM ini diterima dengan baik bagi pengururus Rt.016 dan warga setempat dalam informasi keuangan. Evaluasi dalam kegiatan ini perlu adanya pembekalan mekanisme laporan keuangan sederhana yang efektif bagi pengurus Rt kususnya pelaksana administrasi rt agar dapat memudahkan pemahaman dalam pengoprasian dan fungsi-fungsi pada sistem laporan keuangan yang telah dibuat.
