Abstract

Program pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kualitas, keamanan, dan daya saing produk olahan ikan di desa-desa pesisir melalui penerapan Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) dan Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures (SSOP). Kegiatan dilaksanakan dengan metode partisipatif yang melibatkan pelaku usaha, kelompok nelayan, pemerintah desa, dan pendamping teknis, melalui tahapan identifikasi permasalahan, sosialisasi, pelatihan, pendampingan lapangan, serta monitoring dan evaluasi. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan signifikan pada kapasitas teknis dan kesadaran masyarakat terhadap pentingnya sanitasi dan higiene pangan, efisiensi proses produksi, penurunan risiko kontaminasi mikrobiologis lebih dari 50%, serta perbaikan mutu sensoris produk, termasuk warna, tekstur, dan aroma yang lebih segar. Keberhasilan program ini memperkuat posisi produk olahan ikan di pasar lokal dan membuka peluang penetrasi pasar luar daerah. Model penerapan GMP dan SSOP yang terdokumentasi berpotensi direplikasi di desa pesisir lain sebagai strategi membangun industri perikanan lokal yang higienis, ramah lingkungan, dan berdaya saing tinggi.

Abstract

Breast Milk Water (breast milk) is an essential infant nutrient, yet many nursing mothers face the challenge of suboptimal breast milk production. The leaves of Torbangun (Coleus amboinicus Lour) are traditionally known as galactogogues. The present study was to test the influence of torbangun leaf decoction in increasing milk production. The study used a quasi-experimental with a control group prestest-posttest design. A total of 34 lactating mothers were divided into an experimental group (17 people) and a control group (17 people). Milk production before and after administration of torbangun leaf decoction on the experimental group from the statistical test results of the Independent T-test was obtained the mean (mean) The milk production of the respondents before the administration of the intervention in the form of torbangun leaf decoction was 30.00, and the mean ASI production of the respondents was 69, p value after the intervention1 0.000 at an alpha (?) of 5%.

Abstract

Mastery of English speaking skills is an essential need for communities living in tourism villages, including Kabila Bone Tourism Village. This ability is crucial for communicating with visitors, especially international tourists, in order to introduce and promote local products. However, the local community, including elementary school students, still faces limitations in English speaking skills.To address this issue, this community service program aims to develop tourism-based English speaking skills among elementary school students in Kabila Bone Tourism Village. The training was conducted at SD Negeri 2 Kabila Bone, involving 20 students as participants. The methods applied included lectures, question-and-answer sessions, and role play activities. Lectures were used to provide basic understanding, while question-and-answer and role play were designed to practice communication skills in real contexts.This program is expected to improve students’ English speaking skills and strengthen their knowledge and communication abilities relevant to the local tourism context. As a result, students will be better prepared to interact with tourists visiting Kabila Bone Tourism Village.

Abstract

The American President's policy of implementing high import tariffs for countries in the world has created panic among entrepreneurs, so they have to think about how to survive the high tariffs surge. Companies must be able to devise the right strategy so that their business can survive. So, to remain resilient in the current economic and business conditions, companies have to buy raw materials from Tiongkok at relatively cheap prices, but it is difficult for Indonesian companies to collaborate, both in the form of purchasing production materials, making sales and looking for investors, plus the large number of Chinese companies that invest in Indonesia require employees who master Mandarin. This community service aims to provide Mandarin language skills for Fresh Graduates, enabling them to pursue a career in international companies, especially from Tiongkok. The method used is to provide training and mentoring. To overcome the problems faced by companies who want to open cooperation with investors and clients from Tiongkok. This skills improvement training for prospective employees is the right solution to the problems faced by job seekers and companies. The long-term target to be achieved in this activity is to make fresh graduates able to speak Mandarin and have a career in international companies.

Abstract

This research aims to know the development strategy of SMEs through improving the quality of human resources in SMEs located in the area of Bangun Mulia Village, Medan Amplas District, North Sumatra Province. The study employed a qualitative research method. The data collection techniques in this study used observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis technique carried out with multiple stages namely data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. Small and Medium Micro Enterprises (SMEs) play an important role in economic growth in Indonesia. However, behind the contribution of SMEs in fostering the reeconomy in Indonesia, there are still many issues faced by SMEs in its development, both in internal and external issues. Therefore, SME development strategy becomes an important thing to make SMEs more developed. So far the issue that often arises within SMEs is the low quality of human resources. Such is the experience of SMEs in Banggun Mulia Village , Medan Amplas District , North Sumatra Province The results of the study show that the improvement of human resource quality in Mekar Sari SMEs consists of three (3) pathways. 1) Training, using the On The Job method and the Demonstration and Example method. 2) Education, using coaching and counseling methods. 3) Work Experience, with preference given to someone with work experience in recruiting employees. Improving the quality of human resources that has been applied in SMEs in Bangun Mulia Village, Medan Amplas District, North Sumatra Province has contributed to the sustainability of its business, so it can be used as a SME development strategy.

Abstract

A community service activity entitled "Socialization and Education on the Dangers of Drugs for Students of SMPN 4 Tewah, Gunung Mas Regency, Central Kalimantan Province" was conducted as an early prevention effort against drug abuse among students. This outreach program aimed to provide a comprehensive understanding of the negative impacts of drugs from a health, social, educational, and legal perspective. The method used was interactive delivery of material through presentations, discussions, and question-and-answer sessions, enabling students to participate more actively and relate the knowledge gained to their daily lives. The results of the program demonstrated that it was well-run and effective. This was evidenced by a significant increase in student understanding based on pre- and post-test evaluations, with an understanding score of 94.8%. These findings demonstrate that the outreach and education on the dangers of drugs can positively contribute to raising student awareness of the importance of staying away from drugs. Thus, this activity serves not only as a learning tool but also as a strategic step in developing a healthy, productive, and integrated young generation.

Abstract

This community service was carried out because land issues are problems that often cause prolonged disputes in the dynamics of Indonesian society. The government's serious efforts to minimize or reduce land disputes are evidenced by the existence of a land case handling function at the Ministry of Agrarian Affairs and Spatial Planning/National Land Agency which then issued policies related to the handling of land cases up to the latest amendment through the Regulation of the Minister of Agrarian Affairs and Spatial Planning/Head of the National Land Agency Number 21 of 2020 concerning the Handling and Settlement of Land Cases. The methods used were lectures and discussions. From the results of this community service, it can be stated that the community in Nendali Village has understood the process of handling land cases in relation to the cancellation of Land Title Certificates which can be done through judicial institutions and outside the courts that contain administrative and/or legal defects.

Abstract

This community service was conducted because SD Islam I Baledono Purworejo had not yet received any information about the Merdeka curriculum at the elementary school level, even though this curriculum should be implemented immediately. Therefore, it was important for us to share information about the Merdeka curriculum at the elementary school level. The Merdeka Curriculum includes differentiated learning, which is essential at the elementary school level. The method used in this community service included preparation, implementation, evaluation, and reporting. After the community service, teachers and principals gained a clear understanding of differentiated learning and the development of Merdeka curriculum learning materials at the elementary school level. This community service was very beneficial for teachers and principals, as they had not yet received information about differentiated learning and the development of Merdeka curriculum learning materials at the elementary school level.

Abstract

Animal manure problems cause waste problems in the community. Solid organic fertilizer is an alternative solution for processing animal waste. The Mekar Sari Dua Farming Group in Ampel Village, Jember Regency has the potential to process solid organic fertilizer with one of the groups running a livestock farming business. The farmer  group  empowerment  program  through  the application  of  organic fertilizer using animal waste as a base material added with the biological agents tricoderma and PGPR resulted in an increase in farming income with a quality nutrient content of 1.531% N-Total, 1.268% P2O5, 2.125% K2O, and 8.380% C- Organic.

Abstract

This community service program aims to improve the knowledge and skills of families, primarily targeting the elderly. The implementation method consists of preparation, implementation, and evaluation. Activities include outreach and examinations on diabetes mellitus, as well as self-monitoring of blood sugar levels. Diabetes mellitus is a chronic disease that occurs either when the pancreas does not produce enough insulin or when the body cannot effectively use the insulin it produces. Uncontrolled high blood glucose levels can cause serious damage to the heart, blood vessels, eyes, kidneys, and nerves. Counseling is the primary prevention of diabetes mellitus. The incidence of diabetes increases annually, not only in adults but also in children, which can impact the nation's future productivity. The partner's problem is that diabetes cases are now occurring not only in adults and the elderly but also in children and adolescents. The solution offered is to provide outreach and training on diabetes prevention and early detection in the elderly.
