Abstract

Pemanenan air berfungsi sebagai intervensi krusial untuk mengatasi tantangan kelangkaan air di daerah pedesaan, terutama di wilayah yang mengalami perubahan iklim yang signifikan. Melalui teknik seperti pemanenan air hujan dan penggunaan sistem canggih untuk penangkapan air yang efisien, masyarakat pedesaan dapat meningkatkan ketahanan mereka terhadap dampak buruk kekeringan dan pola curah hujan yang tidak menentu. Hal ini penting karena banyak daerah pedesaan menghadapi penurunan pasokan air akibat perubahan siklus hidrologi dan meningkatnya permintaan air. Kegiatan Pengabdian pada Masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk Mensosialisasikan metode pemanenan air hujan untuk alternative sumber air bersih di masyarakat, Mengupayakan penerapan teknologi PAH dalam rangka memudahkan masyarakat memperoleh sumber air selain penggunaan sumur bor. Metode yang digunakan adalah sosialisasi dan simulasi penggunaan peralatan PAH pada kelompok masyarakat. Berdasarkan hasil sosialisasi dan simulasi penerapan metode Panen Air Hujan (PAH) dengan menggunakan metode penampungan air hujan maka diperlukan pendampingan pada masyarakat baik dalam proses pembuatan hingga pemanfaatan air hujan hasil panen air hujan. Untuk tingkat yang lebih baik, maka perlu membawa hasil pengabdian ini pada kegiatan KKN mahasiswa agar memberikan manfaat bagi kedua belah pihak. Untuk kepentingan pengembangan keilmuan maka diperlukan penelitian lebih lanjut untuk metode-metode terbaru yang lebih sederhana, ekonomis dan mudah dilaksanakan pada masyarakat.

Abstract

Remaja merupakan kelompok usia yang sangat rentan terhadap pengaruh negatif terkait seksualitas, terutama akibat kurangnya pengetahuan dan pendidikan seksual yang memadai. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman remaja tentang konsep seksual sehat, yang meliputi aspek kesehatan reproduksi, batasan diri, serta sikap bertanggung jawab dalam hubungan sosial dan seksual. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan di desa Karang Agung Kabupaten Pali tahun 2025 dengan melibatkan 25 remaja sebagai responden. Metode yang digunakan meliputi penyuluhan interaktif, diskusi kelompok, serta evaluasi melalui pre-test dan post-test. Hasil pre-test menunjukkan bahwa hanya 40% peserta memiliki pemahaman dalam kategori baik, sementara 60% berada pada kategori cukup. Setelah dilakukan edukasi, seluruh peserta (100%) menunjukkan peningkatan pemahaman yang signifikan ke kategori baik. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa metode edukatif yang partisipatif dan kontekstual efektif dalam meningkatkan literasi seksual remaja. Program ini diharapkan dapat menjadi model edukasi yang berkelanjutan di lingkungan sekolah untuk mendorong perilaku remaja yang sehat dan bertanggung jawab secara seksual

Abstract

Pemberdayaan merupakan suatu usaha untuk memberdayakan masyarakat dari ketidak mampuannya menuju masyarakat yang demokratis, sejahterah dan maju yang mempunyai peran dalam memberdayakan masyrakatat adalah pemerintah baik itu dari dinas yang bersangkutan. Dinas Perdagangan mempunyai peran untuk memberdayakan masyarakat desa melalui usaha kecil menengah namun hal ini tidak berjalan optimal di lingkup dinas perdagangan sehingga masalah dalam penelititan ini dimana pengembangan usaha kecil yang dilakukan oleh masyrakat belum efektif disebabkan tanpa pengawasan dan pendampingan dari instansi pemerintah yang terkait.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan usaha kecil menengah di  desa Lubuk Cemara Perbaungan melalui pemberdayaan masyrakat oleh Dinas perdagangan, perindustrian dan usaha kecil menengah. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif yang malakukan pengumpulan data dengan menggunakan observasi. wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukan:upaya pemberdayaan UMKM yang dilakukan hanya berpedoman pada peraturan perundangan nasional tanpa inovasi dan ide kreatif dari pendamping.kesimpulan dari penelitian ini masih kurang optimal peran dalam memberdayakan masyarakat melalui uaha kecil menengah di desa Lubuk Cemara Perbaungan sehingga butuh perbaikan dari berbagai sektor baik dari dinas perdagangan itu sendiri serta peningkatan kompetensi masyarakat dalam hal ini pelaku usaha kecil menengah melalui pelatihan, workshop serta memberikan bantuan yang dapat menunjang Usaha mereka.

Abstract

The construction of the Integrated Maritime Laboratory, funded through the 2024 State Sharia Securities (SBSN) budget, serves not only as a means of developing educational infrastructure but also as a platform for empowering the academic community at Universitas Negeri Gorontalo. Through the involvement of students in project planning, implementation, and supervision, this initiative reinforces the integration of theoretical knowledge and practical experience. The implementation methods include direct field observation, the preparation of detailed engineering designs (DED), and supervision reporting, all of which significantly contribute to the project's success. This article presents the outcomes of student involvement and its implications for enhancing academic capacity.

Abstract

In this internship activity the author accompanied the customers of Shariah BTPN who are micro enterprise actors especially mothers from pre-welfare societies to empower their enterprises with materials tailored to the type of enterprises within a specified time frame for the capacity of the actors with the purpose of giving UMKpandakan knowledge and skills of business actors. Companion facilitators are tasked with empowering the Indonesian community through enterprise coaching material and active companionship. Certified Internship and Independent Study Program (MSIB) batch 7 with PT. Bank BTPN Shariah as a companion facilitator is a container where students can collaborate with customers who play a role in the advancement of customers’ enterprises, so in this case students can apply the knowledge gained on campus for self-actualization and directly contribute also can develop professional experience, specialized internship in terms of direct competencies for community empowerment. The program assists customers in developing efforts to improve their living standards that have great potential to create more significant socio-economic change.

Abstract

Stunting is a chronic nutritional problem which is still one of the major challenges in Panglungan Village, Wonosalam District, Jombang Regency. This community service activity aims to decrease stunting rates through the formation of “Golden Classes” (Antistunting Families for a Healthy Prosperous Society) with an educational approach, health screening, and utilization of local potential in the form of turmeric, kelor, milk and chocolate as functional foods. Activities include extensions on stunting, anemia, and worms; screening hemoglobin levels in adolescents and pregnant mothers; examination of worms in toddlers; manufacturing training of processed nutritious foods (chocolate-chocolate noodles and turmeric-milk ice cream); as well as the development of e-complete educational applications. Results showed a prevalence of anemia of 42.1% in adolescents and 70% in pregnant mothers, as well as a diarrhea rate in toddlers of 26.9%. There was a significant improvement in the knowledge of the participants after the extension. Nutritious food training encourages family self-reliance in nutrition fulfillment as well as opening business opportunities. The e-complete innovation supports continuing education and monitoring of nutrition interventions. This program proves that the integration of educational approaches, technology, and local food utilization can be an effective strategy in the acceleration of stunting decline.

Abstract

Rheumatoid arthritis or better known as rheumatism is a progressive autoimmune disease with chronic inflammation that attacks the musculoskeletal system but can involve organs and body systems as a whole. The purpose of this activity is to provide health education about rheumatoid arthritis and rheumatic exercises. The method of implementing this Community Service Program is community education in the form of health counseling, evaluated by pre-test and post-test The method of implementing the service is by providing Rheumatic Exercises. The number of participants who attended was 30 people, 2 of whom were students. The activity started from the planning, implementation, evaluation, to the preparation of the report. The results of the joint pain scale before the intervention were obtained in the elderly who experienced mild pain as many as 2 people (6.7%), moderate pain 27 people (90.0%), and severe pain 1 person (3.3%). Meanwhile, the results of the joint pain scale after the intervention were found to have changed, where there were no more elderly people experiencing severe pain and moderate pain, elderly people experiencing mild pain were 28 people (93.3%) and no pain were 2 people (6.7%). It is hoped that this activity can be a health promotion strategy in the prevention and control of rheumatoid arthritis.

Abstract

This community service activity aims to improve the operational performance of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) through mentoring on green innovation strategies and the adoption of environmentally friendly behavior. MSMEs, as drivers of the local economy, face challenges in operational efficiency, waste management, and a lack of awareness of environmental sustainability. The training was conducted on Saturday, July 19, 2025, at Hotel Berlian Bengkalis, involving 21 MSME participants from various business sectors. The methods used included interactive material delivery, group discussions, practical simulations, and the formulation of environmentally friendly action plans. The results of the activity showed an increase in participants’ understanding of green innovation concepts, energy efficiency, plastic waste reduction, and the use of eco-friendly packaging. Participants also demonstrated a strong commitment to adopting sustainable business practices in their daily operations. This activity proves that participatory-based education can serve as an effective means of fostering environmental awareness among MSMEs.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the process and outcomes of transforming plastic waste into ecobricks by students of the Community Service Program (KKN) from Universitas Negeri Padang (UNP) in Tandikek Selatan Village, Patamuan District, Padang Pariaman Regency. Using a descriptive qualitative method, the research focuses on direct observation, interviews, and documentation throughout the collection of plastic waste, ecobrick production, and the installation of a village nameplate made from ecobricks. The data were analyzed narratively to capture community participation and the challenges encountered during the program. The findings show that 250 plastic bottles filled with compacted waste were successfully converted into alternative building materials, resulting in a 3x3 meter village sign. Beyond reducing plastic waste, this activity raised community awareness about environmentally friendly waste management. Strategic locations such as local food stalls served as the primary sources of recyclable waste. The project demonstrates that community-based initiatives through KKN can be an effective and creative solution for waste issues while also strengthening local identity. The use of descriptive qualitative methods effectively revealed the social and educational meaning behind the activity.

Abstract

The low knowledge of pregnant women about the importance of breast care during pregnancy will affect breast milk production and the behavior of exclusive breastfeeding in babies from birth to six months of age. One factor that influences the success of breast care is the knowledge of pregnant women. Problems that can arise in pregnant women who do not do breast care during pregnancy include nipple pain, breast engorgement, mastitis, breast abscesses, and breast milk flow problems. The purpose of this activity is to provide education for pregnant women with knowledge of breast care behavior. The method of implementing this Community Service Program is community education in the form of health counseling, evaluated by pre-test and post-test. The method of implementing the service is to provide education to pregnant women through discussions using ebooklet media about the importance of breast care behavior. The number of participants who attended was 50 people, 2 students, and 5 midwives. The activity started from the planning, implementation, evaluation, to the preparation of reports. The results of the activity showed changes in knowledge with an average of 58.3% of participants' knowledge being in the poor category and 58.3% of the results being in the good category. In terms of skills, all participants (100%) were able to understand the importance of breast care behavior. Conclusion: Educational activities on the importance of breast care behavior can be an effort to increase knowledge and promote health.
