Abstract

Epistemology is a branch of philosophy known as the epistemology of science that focuses on basic questions about scientific knowledge, such as how knowledge is acquired, developed, and validated. The methods used in idea articles are useful for developing new ideas, critiquing existing theories, or providing new insights into the issues or problems being discussed. There are several reasons why people should study epistemology: first, strategic reasons because strategy is fundamental to achieving certain goals. Second, cultural reasons, because culture is part of knowledge and is important in every aspect of culture. Third, educational reasons, because education is a conscious effort to develop views of life, attitudes, and perspectives.

Abstract

Philosophy of science has a very important role in providing a conceptual basis for the advancement of science, especially through the study of ontology, epistemology, and axiology. This study aims to explore the contribution of science to the development of scientific research. By using a descriptive analysis method based on literature review, this study reveals that philosophy of science not only plays a role as a theoretical foundation, but also as a critical control tool for the application of science in social life. The results of the study suggest the importance of interdisciplinary integration and the development of science in the development of scientific research. Philosophy of science, with its comprehensive approach, is able to direct the development of science so that it remains relevant, ethical, and makes a positive contribution to civilization.

Abstract

Science axiom is a branch of philosophy that discusses ethical, aesthetic, and moral values in science, as well as their role in human life. This research aims to examine the role of science axioms in daily life, especially in directing the wise and responsible use of science. This study uses the Systematic Literature Review (SLR) method to analyze literature related to the role of science axioms in education, technology, health, and environmental aspects. The results of the study show that science axioms not only function as an ethical framework in technological and scientific innovation, but also serve as a guide in decision-making based on moral values. In education, the axioms of science help instill a critical and ethical mindset; in the field of technology, it sets limits in the use of new innovations; In the health sector, axiology is a guideline in ethical medical decision-making, while in environmental contexts, it promotes sustainability and intergenerational justice. Thus, the axiom of science ensures that the development of science is always directed towards human welfare and environmental sustainability.

Abstract

customer satisfaction. Using survey method and questionnaires distributed online, data were collected from 37 respondents who are customers of Mie Endes. The results of the analysis show that most customers are satisfied with the services provided, especially in terms of friendly staff attitudes and responsiveness to complaints. However, there are some aspects that need improvement, such as the speed of response to problems and detailed product information. This study emphasizes the importance of service quality in increasing customer satisfaction and loyalty, and recommends further training for staff and periodic satisfaction surveys to continuously improve MSME performance. Thus, Mie Endes is expected to maintain growth and competitiveness in an increasingly competitive market.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of Compensation and Motivation on the Performance of Non-Permanent Teachers at SMA Negeri 1 Bungo Regency. The population in this study consists of all Non-Permanent Teachers, and the research sample includes 39 respondents using the saturated sampling technique. (total sampling). From the data processing using SPSS, the results show that, partially, Compensation has a positive and significant effect on the Performance of Non-Permanent Teachers at SMA Negeri 1 Bungo Regency, and Motivation has a positive and significant effect on the Performance of Non-Permanent Teachers at SMA Negeri 1 Bungo Regency. Meanwhile, simultaneously, Compensation and Motivation have a positive and significant effect on the Performance of Non-Permanent Teachers at SMA Negeri 1 Bungo Regency.

Abstract

The international expansion of local brands into global markets is becoming increasingly relevant in the era of globalization. This research analyzes the international market expansion strategy implemented by the Eiger brand, particularly in the context of opening its first retail store in Interlaken, Switzerland. Using a qualitative approach with descriptive-analytical research design, this study examines market penetration strategies, marketing mix implementation, digital brand identity development, and key success factors of Eiger's expansion. The results show that Eiger's success in entering the European premium market was supported by strategic location selection, proper market entry timing, and effective product adaptation for the target market. Comprehensive marketing mix implementation, supported by strong digital communication strategies, played a significant role in building brand presence in the international market. Key success factors include strong internal capabilities, effective network development, and appropriate cultural adaptation strategies. This research provides theoretical contributions to the development of international expansion models for brands from developing countries and provides practical lessons for Indonesian companies planning similar expansions.

Abstract

This article discusses philosophy and science which are human efforts in understanding a concept and method of a science. Abstract

The phenomenon of digital transformation is crucial for Indonesian Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) in addressing the challenges posed by international markets; however, a large number of SMEs have yet to fully utilise technological advancements. This research seeks to examine the impact of digital transformation on the export performance of Indonesian SMEs, while exploring the mediating and moderating factors that influence this relationship. The methodology employed consists of panel data analysis, utilising a sample of 100 exporting SMEs from various industry sectors over the period 2019 to 2023. The findings show that digital transformation exerts a significant positive impact on export performance, with dynamic capabilities serving as a mediator and firm size acting as a moderator. The study identifies e-commerce and business process automation as the most effective elements in improving export performance. The implications derived from this study advocate a comprehensive strategy in the digital transformation of SMEs, in addition to more targeted policy initiatives aimed at strengthening the dynamic capabilities of these firms.

Abstract

The K-Pop music industry has experienced tremendous growth and emerged as a global phenomenon, impacting other sectors, including the souvenir industry. The allegiance of devoted K-Pop enthusiasts significantly influences the purchase of memorabilia associated with their heroes. K-Pop memorabilia serves not merely as commodities, but also as emblems of cultural identity for enthusiasts. Consequently, SMEs involved in souvenir production possess significant potential to enhance the competitiveness of their products in both home and international markets. This study seeks to examine the influence of K-Pop fan devotion on the competitiveness of souvenir products and to identify business strategies that SMEs, like Zonnebloem Souvenir, can implement to compete in the worldwide market. Employing qualitative methodologies alongside the Business Model Canvas (BMC) and SWOT analysis to assess the business model of Zonnebloem Souvenir. Data was collected by observation, interviews, and documentation, then analyzed to formulate a business development strategy. The data indicates that Zonnebloem Souvenir has effectively leveraged K-Pop fan loyalty via product innovation and digital marketing, enabling international marketability. Zonnebloem enhances competitiveness by diversifying distribution channels, elevating product quality, and perpetually innovating in response to the burgeoning K-Pop trends in the global market.
