Jurnal Mahasiswa Entrepreneurship (JME) Fakultas Ekonomi dan Bisnis Universitas Abdurachman Saleh Situbondo adalah jurnal yang ditulis oleh mahasiswa FEB UNARS sebagai jembatan antara ilmu dan praktek manajemen. JME mempublikasikan artikel baik berupa telaah pustaka maupun hasil penelitian empiris. JME menerima naskah dari berbagai bidang atau disiplin ilmu, seperti Keuangan, Manajemen Strategi, Pemasaran , Operasional dan Kewirausahaan . Kriteria utama untuk dapat diterima di JME adalah kemampuan untuk memberikan sumbangsih bagi perkembangan ilmu ekonomi khususnya manajemen. JME menerima kiriman naskah/artikel dalam bahasa Indonesia atau Inggris dan harus dinyatakan bahwa naskah yang dikirim tersebut, tidak dikirim atau belum pernah dipublikasikan dalam jurnal lainnya. Keputusan tentang pemuatan artikel dalam JME diambil melalui proses blind review oleh Dewan Redaksi dengan mempertimbangkan antara lain : orisinilitas, aktualitas serta signifikansi kontribusi artikel terhadap pengembangan ilmu pengetahuan maupun praktik dalam dunia nyata. Dewan redaksi akan memberikan telaah konstrutif dan jika dipandang perlu, menyampaikan hasil evaluasi kepada penulis artikel untuk ditanggapi dan didiskusikan. Untuk revisi kecil (minor revision), naskah yang telah diperbaiki bisa langsung mendapat persetujuan untuk dimuat. Artikel yang tidak memenuhi kriteria yang ditetapkan akan dikembalikan.

Abstract

Dividend distribution policy is a company's decision regarding how to distribute profits that have been obtained, whether to distribute to investors or to reinvest in the company. A consideration that companies need to take into account when distributing dividends is how much dividend will be paid to shareholders compared to the amount that will be reinvested in the company. At its core, dividends are a cash flow given to shareholders, but retained earnings are also an effective way to fund company growth. The aim of this research is to analyze and test "The Impact of Dividend Policy, Managerial Ownership, and Intellectual Capital on Company Value with Profitability as an Intervening Variable". This research is quantitative research. The population used in this research is 31 companies. Sampling technique used a purposive sampling technique, namely data was selected based on certain criteria that were in accordance with the research objectives. Data analysis and hypothesis testing in this research used the Structural Equation Method - Partial Least Square (PLS-SEM). The results of direct influence hypothesis testing using the Smart PLS 3.0 application show that leadership has a significant positive effect on job satisfaction, work motivation has a significant positive effect on job satisfaction, work discipline has a significant positive effect on job satisfaction, leadership has a negative but insignificant effect on performance, work motivation has a positive but insignificant effect on performance, work discipline has a negative but insignificant effect on performance, job satisfaction has a significant positive effect on performance. The results of the indirect effect hypothesis test show that the Leadership variable on performance through job satisfaction has a significant positive effect, motivation on performance through job satisfaction has a significant positive effect, and work discipline on performance through job satisfaction has a significant positive effect.

Abstract

Companies in the basic and chemical industry sector are manufacturing companies that convert raw materials into semi-finished products. This study aims to determine the Influence of Capital Structure, Company Size and Business Risk on Dividend Policy with Profitability as an Intervening Variable in Manufacturing Companies in the Basic and Chemical Industry Sector Listed on the IDX. This research method uses a quantitative method. Data analysis and hypothesis testing in this study used the Structural Equation Model-Partial Least Square (PLS-SEM). The results of the direct influence hypothesis test using the Smart PLS3 3.0 application show that the capital structure has a negative but not significant effect on profitability. The size of the company has a potential but not significant effect on profitability. Business risk has a significant positive effect on profitability. Capital structure has a negative but not significant effect on dividend policy. The size of the company has a positive but not significant effect on the dividend policy. Business risk has a positive but insignificant effect on dividend policy. Profitability has a positive but not significant effect on dividend policy. Capital structure has a negative but insignificant effect on dividend policy through profitability. Company size has a positive but insignificant effect on dividend policy through profitability. Business risk has a positive but insignificant effect on dividends through profitability.

Abstract

In the current era of globalization, many developments are occurring rapidly and sophisticatedly, including the development of the cafe business. This research aims to analyze the role of the cafe's location, taste, and atmosphere in influencing purchasing decisions and consumer satisfaction at the Kaliurang Cafe in Kapongan. This research is explanatory. The population in this study were consumers of the Kaliurang Cafe in Kapongan. The sampling technique was determined by simple random sampling. Data analysis and hypothesis testing in this research used the Partial Least Square - Structural Equation Model (PLS-SEM). The results of direct influence hypothesis testing using the Smart PLS 3.0 application show that location has a significant effect on purchasing decisions, taste has no significant effect on purchasing decisions, cafe atmosphere has no significant effect on purchasing decisions, location has a significant effect on consumer satisfaction, taste has a significant effect on consumer satisfaction, cafe atmosphere does not have a significant effect on consumer satisfaction, purchasing decisions have a significant effect on consumer satisfaction. The results of the indirect influence hypothesis test show that the location variable on consumer satisfaction through purchasing decisions has a positive but not significant effect, taste on consumer satisfaction through purchasing decisions has a negative but not significant effect, cafe atmosphere has a positive but not significant effect on consumer satisfaction through purchasing decisions.

Abstract

Organizations have various kinds of resources as input to be converted into output in the form of goods or services, human resources are also the most important element. The aim of this research is to analyze and test the influence of Reward and Punishment, Leadership and Work Discipline on Teacher Performance through Motivation as an Intervening Variable. The population used in this research were 35 teachers at SMKN 1 Kendit Situbondo. This sampling technique is saturated sampling. Data analysis and hypothesis testing in research uses Structural Equation Models - Partial Least Square (PLS-SEM). The results of the direct influence hypothesis test using the Smart PLS 3.0 application, show that 1. Reward and punishment have a significant positive effect on work motivation. Leadership has a significant positive effect on work motivation. Work discipline has a significant positive effect on work motivation. Reward and punishment have a significant positive effect on performance. Leadership has a positive but not significant effect on performance. Work discipline has a positive but not significant effect on performance. Work motivation has a significant positive effect on performance. Then the results of the indirect influence hypothesis test show that the variable Reward and Punishment on Performance through Work Motivation has a positive but not significant effect. Abstract

Coal mining companies are a significant industrial subsector in Indonesia that have substantial impacts on the country and its society. It is believed that this sector plays a crucial role in transforming untapped natural resources into assets that can improve the quality of life by providing public facilities such as schools, housing, ports, roads, and others. The objective of this research is to determine the influence of Liquidity, ROA, and Solvability on Company Value through Dividend Policy. The sampling technique used in this study is Purposive Sampling. The population in this research comprises coal mining companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange from 2019 to 2022. Data analysis and hypothesis testing in this study utilize Structural Equation Modeling – Partial Least Squares (PLS-SEM). The results of direct hypothesis testing using the Smart PLS 3.0 application indicate that Liquidity has a negative but insignificant effect on Dividend Policy. ROA has a significant positive effect on Dividend Policy, while Solvability has a positive but insignificant effect on Dividend Policy. Liquidity has a significant negative effect on Company Value, whereas ROA has a positive but insignificant effect on Company Value. Solvability has a significant positive effect on Company Value.Indirect hypothesis testing results show that Liquidity's impact on Company Value through Dividend Policy is positive but insignificant, ROA's impact on Company Value through Dividend Policy is negative but insignificant, and Solvability's impact on Company Value through Dividend Policy is negative but insignificant.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to determine the role of customer satisfaction in mediating lifestyle, store image and digital marketing on repurchase decisions at Hijab Billah store in Situbondo. The population of this research is all Hijab Billah customers. The sampling technique applied in this research is the probability sampling method using random sampling technique. Data analysis and hypothesis test in this research used the Partial Least Squares - Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). The results of the research showed that lifestyle had a positive and significant effect on customer satisfaction, store image had a positive but not significant effect on customer satisfaction, digital marketing had a positive and significant effect on customer satisfaction, lifestyle had a positive and significant effect on repurchase decisions, store image had a positive and significant effect on repurchase decisions, digital marketing had a positive but not significant effect on repurchase decisions, customer satisfaction had a positive and significant effect on repurchase decisions, lifestyle had a positive but not significant effect on repurchase decisions through customer satisfaction, store image had a positive but not significant effect on repurchase decisions through customer satisfaction, and digital marketing had a positive but not significant effect on repurchase decisions through customer satisfaction.

Abstract

Competing effectively in a competitive business environment, an organization requires solid and sustainable resources. These resources include various things, such as sufficient financial capital, reliable infrastructure, up-to-date technology, as well as competent and skilled human resources. The aim of this research is to analyze and test the influence of organizational culture, work environment, compensation and organizational culture on performance. With Job Satisfaction as an intervening variable in the Situbondo Regency Tourism, Youth and Sports Office. This research is explanatory research. The population in this study were employees of the Tourism, Youth and Sports Department. The sampling technique uses a saturated sample technique. Data analysis and hypothesis testing in this research used the Structural Equation Model - Partial Least Square (PLS-SEM). Hypothesis test results of direct influence using the Smart PLS 3.0 application, Work environment has a significant positive effect on job satisfaction, Compensation has a negative and insignificant effect on job satisfaction, Organizational culture has a significant positive effect on job satisfaction, Work environment has a negative and insignificant effect on Performance, Compensation has a negative effect not significant on Performance, Organizational culture has a significant positive effect on Performance, Job satisfaction has a significant positive effect on Performance, Work Environment has a significant positive effect on Performance through Job Satisfaction, Compensation has a negative and insignificant effect on Performance through Job Satisfaction, Organizational culture has a significant effect positive impact on performance through job satisfaction.

Abstract

The research objective is to determine the effect of investment knowledge and financial literacy on investment decisions for customers of Bank Jatim Jember with financial inclusion as an Intervening variable. Abdurachman Saleh University, Situbondo. The sampling technique used in this study was simple random sampling using the Slovin formula with a tolerable error rate of 10% for 96 customers. Data analysis and hypothesis testing in this study used the Structural Equation Model - Partial Least Square (PLS-SEM)The results of the direct effect hypothesis test using the Smart PLS 3.0 application, show that investment knowledge has a positive and significant effect on financial inclusion, financial literacy has a positive and significant effect on financial inclusion, investment knowledge has a positive and significant effect on investment decisions, financial literacy has a negative and insignificant effect on investment decisions, financial inclusion has a positive and significant effect on investment decisions, investment knowledge has a positive and significant effect on investment decisions through financial inclusion, financial literacy has a positive and significant effect on investment decisions through financial inclusion.

Abstract

Situbondo district is one of the small districts located in the eastern part of the island of Java. One of them is the fire department located on Madura Street No. 17 Mimbaan West, Panji, Situbondo. The purpose of this research is to analyze the impact of leadership, discipline and work environment on performance through job satisfaction as a variable intervening on non-ASN fire department of Situbondo district. The total sample used in this study was 58 firefighters in Situbondo district besides the chief. Sampling technique using saturation sampling. Data analysis and hypothesis testing in this study using the Structural Equation - Partial Least Square (PLS-SEM) Model. The results of the direct influence hypothetical test using the Smart PLS 3.0 application, showed that Leadership has a significant positive impact on Employment Satisfaction, Discipline has an significant positive effect on Job Satisface, Working environments have a significant negative impact on Job satisfaction, Leadership significantly negatively impact on Performance, discipline significantly adversely influences Performance, work environment significantly positively impacts Performance, Work satisfaction significantly affects Performance, Leadment significantly influences performance through Job satisfaction.

Abstract

Marketing through social media is an important need for business actors today. The reason is, customers have turned to social media platforms for various purposes, from socializing to shopping. Social media offers a wide reach, making it a top choice for businesses in marketing efforts. This is further reinforced by the emergence of various marketing features provided by social media platforms, such as those offered by Instagram as a prime example. The purpose of this study is to analyze and test the influence of Marketing Content, Testimonials, Taglines on Buying Interest through Trust as an Intervening Variable. The population in this study is consumers in Kedai Kamsitu. The sampling technique uses a simple random sampling method. Data analysis and hypothesis using the Structural Equation Model – Partial Least Square (PLS-SEM). The results of the direct influence hypothesis test using the PLS 3.0 smart application, show that marketing content has a significant positive effect on trust, testimonials have a positive but not significant effect on trust, tagline has a significant positive effect on trust, content marketing has a significant positive effect on buying interest, testimonials have a negative but not significant effect on buying interest, tagline has an effect Significant positive effect on Buying interest, Trust has a significant positive effect on Buying interest, Content marketing has a significant positive effect on Buying interest, Testimonials have a positive but not significant effect on Buying interest through Trust, Tagline has a positive but not significant effect on Buying interest through Trust.
