Jurnal Mahasiswa Entrepreneurship (JME) Fakultas Ekonomi dan Bisnis Universitas Abdurachman Saleh Situbondo adalah jurnal yang ditulis oleh mahasiswa FEB UNARS sebagai jembatan antara ilmu dan praktek manajemen. JME mempublikasikan artikel baik berupa telaah pustaka maupun hasil penelitian empiris. JME menerima naskah dari berbagai bidang atau disiplin ilmu, seperti Keuangan, Manajemen Strategi, Pemasaran , Operasional dan Kewirausahaan . Kriteria utama untuk dapat diterima di JME adalah kemampuan untuk memberikan sumbangsih bagi perkembangan ilmu ekonomi khususnya manajemen. JME menerima kiriman naskah/artikel dalam bahasa Indonesia atau Inggris dan harus dinyatakan bahwa naskah yang dikirim tersebut, tidak dikirim atau belum pernah dipublikasikan dalam jurnal lainnya. Keputusan tentang pemuatan artikel dalam JME diambil melalui proses blind review oleh Dewan Redaksi dengan mempertimbangkan antara lain : orisinilitas, aktualitas serta signifikansi kontribusi artikel terhadap pengembangan ilmu pengetahuan maupun praktik dalam dunia nyata. Dewan redaksi akan memberikan telaah konstrutif dan jika dipandang perlu, menyampaikan hasil evaluasi kepada penulis artikel untuk ditanggapi dan didiskusikan. Untuk revisi kecil (minor revision), naskah yang telah diperbaiki bisa langsung mendapat persetujuan untuk dimuat. Artikel yang tidak memenuhi kriteria yang ditetapkan akan dikembalikan.

Abstract

Transportation companies play a crucial role in moving goods and people from the point of origin to their destination. This research examines the factors influencing stock returns in transportation companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange, with firm value serving as an intervening variable. The study adopts a descriptive quantitative approach. The population consists of transportation companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange between 2020 and 2023, with purposive sampling used to select the sample. Data analysis and hypothesis testing are carried out using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). Using the Smart PLS 3.0 statistical application, the hypothesis test results indicate that Leverage has a positive impact on Firm Value, Profitability has a positive but not significant effect on Firm Value, and Market Value Added has a negative but not significant effect on Firm Value. Additionally, leverage has a negative and significant impact on stock returns, while profitability has a positive but not significant effect on stock returns, and added market value has a positive but not significant effect on stock returns. Firm Value itself has a positive but not significant effect on Stock Returns. Furthermore, Leverage has a significant positive but not significant effect on Stock Returns through Firm Value, Profitability has a positive but not significant effect on Stock Returns through Firm Value, and Market Value Added has a negative but not significant effect on Stock Returns through Firm Value.

Abstract

The Altek Gedung shop is a business that operates in the field of selling building materials. The purpose of this research is to analyze and test the influence of store atmosphere, product completeness and price on purchasing decisions with consumer satisfaction as an intervening variable at the Altek Bangunan Store in Situbondo. The population in this research is consumers of the Altek Gedung Store. Data analysis and hypothesis testing in this research used the Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Model (PLS-SEM). The results of the direct influence hypothesis test using the Smart PLS 3.0 application, show that Store atmosphere has a positive but not significant effect on consumer satisfaction, Product completeness has a significant positive effect on consumer satisfaction, Price has a significant positive effect on consumer satisfaction, Store atmosphere has a positive but not significant effect on decisions. purchasing, Product completeness has a positive but not shignificant effect on purchasing decisions, Price has a negative but not significant effect on purchasing decisions, Consumer satisfaction has a significant positive effect on purchasing decisions, Store atmosphere has a positive but not significant effect on purchasing decisions through consumer satisfaction, Product completeness has a significant effect positive effect on purchasing decisions through consumer satisfaction. Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of working capital, liquidity, and leverage on firm value with profitability as a moderating variable in energy sub-sector companies listed on the IDX for the 2019-2023 period. The sample used in this study is 6 energy sub-sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange during the 5 years with sampling using a purposive sampling technique. Data analysis and hypothesis testing in this study used the Structural Equation Model - Partial Least Square (PLS-SEM). The results of direct influence hypothesis testing using the Smart PLS 3.0 application show that working capital has a positive but insignificant effect on firm value, liquidity has a negative but significant effect on firm value, leverage has a negative but significant effect on firm value, profitability positively and insignificantly moderates the effect of liquidity on firm value.

Abstract

Work discipline is the most importannt element in employee performance, in this case civil servants who work in goverment agencies, especially in the health sector. Hospitals have an important role in increasing human life expectancy, for this reason hospitals really need qualified civil servants.Civil servants in hospital must be superior and competitive human resources as shown by work discipline and high work motivation. The purpose of this study was to analyze the influence of work discipline and compensation variables on the performance of civil servants at Besuki Regional Hospital with work motivation as an intervening variable. This research is explanatory research. The population is in the study civil servants at Besuki Regional Hospital. The sampling technique used total sampling. Data analysis and hypothesis testing in this study used the Partial Least Square – Structural Equation Model (PLS-SEM). This resultof the direct influence hypothesis test using the Smart PLS 3.0 application showed that work discipline had a significant effect on work motivation, compensation had a significant effect on work motivation, work discipline had a significant effect on performance, and compensation was not proven to have a significant effect on performance. The result of indirect influence hypothesis test showed that the variable work discipline on performance through work motivation had a positive but not significant effect, compensation on performance through work motivation had a significant positive effect.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to analyze and test the influence of work ethic, work discipline and leadership on employee performance through job satisfaction. The sampling technique is determined by Non-Probability Sampling using Total Sampling or saturated samples. Data analysis and hypothesis testing in this research used the Structural Equation Model - Patial Least Square (PLS-SEM). The results of the direct influence hypothesis test using the Smart PLS 3.0 application, show that work ethic and work discipline have a significant effect on job satisfaction, leadership has a positive but not significant effect on job satisfaction, work ethic has a negative but not significant effect on performance, work discipline has a positive but not significant effect. significant effect on employee performance, leadership has a significant effect on employee performance, job satisfaction has a significant effect on employee performance. The results of indirect hypothesis testing show that the work ethic variable on employee performance through job satisfaction has a positive but not significant effect, work discipline on employee performance through job satisfaction has a positive but not significant effect and leadership on employee performance through job satisfaction has a positive but not significant effect.

Abstract

The increasingly fierce level of business competition currently means that business actors need to have a strategy in order to survive and develop. Companies and micro businesses need to implement effective marketing strategies to increase sales. This marketing strategy can also prepare yourself to face increasingly fierce competition from other competing businesses. By using a SWOT analysis, a business can determine what needs to be improved both internally and externally to ensure work operations run smoothly. This research aims to see the application of SWOT analysis to the factors that influence sales and to analyze the application of SWOT analysis in increasing the sales volume of "Siomay Pak Blangkon". The method used in this research is a literature review method using a qualitative descriptive writing system and an interview method by directly interviewing the owner of "Siomay Pak Blangkon". The results of the research show that with this SWOT analysis the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats of Jember's "Siomay Pak Blangkon" micro business actors can be described. The strengths include: there are 2 dumpling menus, wet and dry, guaranteed quality, offline and online sales. The weaknesses are: short selling time, still using sidewalks for selling. The opportunities are: increasing population of Jember city, being able to sell online, strategic location. Meanwhile, the threats are: the emergence of new business actors, less stable economic conditions. Keywords: SWOT analysis; marketing strategy; sale; micro business.

Abstract

Marketing is a common activity undertaken by many individuals. Over the years, it has evolved significantly, as exemplified by the culinary business Mie Sem Belibis, which offers customizable levels of spiciness to suit consumer preferences. This study aims to analyze and examine the impact of word of mouth, taste, and location on customer loyalty in the sales of Mie Sem Belibis in Asembagus, with customer satisfaction as an intervening variable. This research employs a quantitative approach. The study's population comprises customers of Mie Sem Belibis, with a sample selected through random sampling. Data analysis and hypothesis testing are conducted using the Structural Equation Modeling - Partial Least Square (PLS-SEM) method. The results of the hypothesis testing for direct effects, conducted using the Smart PLS 3.0 application, reveal that word of mouth significantly influences customer satisfaction, taste significantly influences customer satisfaction, and location significantly influences customer satisfaction. However, word of mouth does not significantly influence customer loyalty, and taste does not significantly influence customer loyalty, whereas location significantly influences customer loyalty. Additionally, customer satisfaction significantly influences customer loyalty. The results of the hypothesis testing for indirect effects indicate that word of mouth significantly and positively influences customer loyalty through customer satisfaction, taste significantly and positively influences customer loyalty through customer satisfaction, and location significantly and positively influences Customer Loyalty through Customer Satisfaction.

Abstract

The culinary business is one of the businesses booming and has quite a large development potential. This is illustrated by the number of culinary entrepreneurs who are successful in making profits in their businesses. The aim of this research is to analyze and test the influence of Hedonic Consumption, Store Environment, and Price Discounts on Impulse Buying with Positive Emotions as an Intervening Variable. The population in this research is consumers of D'Chicken Sambal Bakar Situbondo. The sampling technique in this research is simple random sampling. Data analysis and hypothesis testing in this research used the advanced Partial Least Square - Structural Equation Model (PLS-SEM), a robust and reliable method for complex data analysis. The results of the direct influence hypothesis test using the Smart PLS 3.0 application reveal significant insights. Hedonic consumption has a significant positive effect on positive emotions. The store environment, while not significant, has a positive effect on positive emotions. Price discounts have a significant positive effect on positive emotions. Hedonic consumption also has a significant positive effect on impulse buying. The store environment, while not significant, has a positive effect on impulse buying. Price cuts have a significant positive effect on impulse buying. Positive emotions, while not significant, have a positive effect on impulse buying. The indirect influence hypothesis test results show that Hedonic consumption, while not significant, has a positive effect on impulse buying through positive emotions. The store environment, while not significant, has a positive effect on impulse buying through positive emotions. Price discounts, while not significant, have a positive effect on impulse buying through positive emotions.

Abstract

Pivysweet is one of the MSMEs that operates in the food industry in the form of mochi. Pivysweet is located in East Lugundang District, RT01/RW06, Situbondo, East Java. This mochi has various flavors, namely strawberry cream cheese, strawberry chocolate, silverqueen chocolate, matcha, creamy mango. The type of research we conducted was qualitative research that used phenomenology as a method and data collection technique based on observation, interviews with the owner of Pivysweet Situbondo and documentation.
