Jurnal Mahasiswa Entrepreneurship (JME) Fakultas Ekonomi dan Bisnis Universitas Abdurachman Saleh Situbondo adalah jurnal yang ditulis oleh mahasiswa FEB UNARS sebagai jembatan antara ilmu dan praktek manajemen. JME mempublikasikan artikel baik berupa telaah pustaka maupun hasil penelitian empiris. JME menerima naskah dari berbagai bidang atau disiplin ilmu, seperti Keuangan, Manajemen Strategi, Pemasaran , Operasional dan Kewirausahaan . Kriteria utama untuk dapat diterima di JME adalah kemampuan untuk memberikan sumbangsih bagi perkembangan ilmu ekonomi khususnya manajemen. JME menerima kiriman naskah/artikel dalam bahasa Indonesia atau Inggris dan harus dinyatakan bahwa naskah yang dikirim tersebut, tidak dikirim atau belum pernah dipublikasikan dalam jurnal lainnya. Keputusan tentang pemuatan artikel dalam JME diambil melalui proses blind review oleh Dewan Redaksi dengan mempertimbangkan antara lain : orisinilitas, aktualitas serta signifikansi kontribusi artikel terhadap pengembangan ilmu pengetahuan maupun praktik dalam dunia nyata. Dewan redaksi akan memberikan telaah konstrutif dan jika dipandang perlu, menyampaikan hasil evaluasi kepada penulis artikel untuk ditanggapi dan didiskusikan. Untuk revisi kecil (minor revision), naskah yang telah diperbaiki bisa langsung mendapat persetujuan untuk dimuat. Artikel yang tidak memenuhi kriteria yang ditetapkan akan dikembalikan.

Abstract

The research was conducted with the aim of knowing the relationship between the level of education and training variables (X1) based on the performance (Y2) of ASN employees. The results of the M Test show that the relationship between variables X1 (Education and Training) and X2 (Discipline) is not related to each other in influencing Y1 (Job Satisfaction) or Y2 (Performance). The P value of the influence of Education and Training (X1) on job satisfaction (Y1) is 0.000, meaning this value is below 5% and the Original Sample value is Positive. Which means that Education and Training (X1) positively and significantly influence job satisfaction (Y1) (H1 Accepted). Therefore, education and training (X1) is a form of appreciation that is needed and needed by ASN employees.

Abstract

The purpose of the study was to determine the influence of leadership and work environment on ASN performance with work motivation as an intervening variable at the Situbondo Social Service. The sampling technique used in this study is a saturated sample. So the research sample is 33 respondents. Data analysis and hypothesis testing in this study used the Structural Equation Model - Partial Least Square (PLS-SEM) The results of the direct influence hypothesis test using the Smart PLS 3.0 application, show that leadership has a positive and significant effect on work motivation, work environment has a positive and significant effect on work motivation, leadership has a positive and significant effect on ASN performance, work environment has a negative and insignificant effect on performance ASN, work motivation has a positive and significant effect on ASN performance, leadership has a positive but not significant effect on ASN performance through work motivation, work environment has a positive and significant effect on ASN performance through work motivation.

Abstract

The tightness of market competition makes it a challenge in this modern era. Therefore, in a market there are several firms that produce similar products. Rice products are a big concern in the competition. Strategy and market analysis must be mobilised to achieve a target. The purpose of this study was to examine and examine the influence of the Effect of Segmentation, Targeting, and Positioning on Consumer Satisfaction on UD Rice Products. Gotong Royong with purchasing decisions as an intervening variable. The research population uses all UD consumers. Gotong Royong according to the data that the researcher has requested from the owner of the research site. The sampling method uses probability sampling. Data analysis and research hypothesis testing using the Structural Equation Model - Partial Least Square (PLS-SEM). The results of the direct effect hypothesis test using the Smart PLS 3. 0, shows that Segmentation has a negative but insignificant effect on purchasing decisions, (H1 rejected); Targeting has a positive but insignificant effect on purchasing decisions, (H2 rejected); Positioning has a significant positive effect on purchasing decisions, (H3 accepted); Segmentation has a positive but insignificant effect on customer satisfaction, (H4 rejected); Targeting has a significant positive effect on customer satisfaction, (H5 accepted); Positioning has a significant positive effect on customer satisfaction, (H6 accepted); Purchasing decisions have a significant positive effect on customer satisfaction (H7 accepted); Segmentation has a negative but insignificant effect on customer satisfaction through purchasing decisions, (H8 rejected); Targeting has a significant positive effect on customer satisfaction through purchasing decisions, (H9 accepted); Positioning has a significant positive effect on customer satisfaction through purchasing decisions, (H10 accepted).

Abstract

The aim of the research is to analyze and test the influence of working capital, dividend policy and ROA on company value through share prices. The populations in this study are pharmaceutical sector companies listed on the IDX in 2019-2022. The sampling technique used is non-probability sampling using purposive sampling technique. The data analysis and hypothesis testing in this research used the Structural Equation Model - Partial Least Square (PLS-SEM). The results of direct hypothesis testing show that capital working capital has no significant effect on stock prices, the profitability has a significant effect on stock prices, the company size has no significant effect on stock prices, the capital structure has no significant effect on company value, the profitability has no significant effect on company value, and the company size has significant effect on company value. The results of the indirect influence hypothesis test show that capital structure has no significant effect on company value through share prices, the profitability has no significant effect on company value through share prices, and the company size has no significant effect on company value through share prices.

Abstract

PLN Customer Service Implementation Unit (UP3) Situbondo serves customers directly. Thus, the human resources involved can develop better interpersonal and communication skills, and increase sensitivity to customer needs and expectations. This study aims to analyze the influence of transformational leadership, work motivation, and compensation on employee performance at PT PLN Customer Service Implementation Unit (UP3) Situbondo. The population in this study were employees of PT. PLN Customer Service Implementation Unit (UP3) Situbondo. This study was conducted using a quantitative approach and the sampling technique was determined by quota sampling. Data analysis and hypothesis testing in this study used Partial Least Squares - Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). The results of the hypothesis test using the Smart PLS 3.0 application showed that transformational leadership had a significant effect on performance, and work motivation had a significant effect on performance. The results of the hypothesis test using compensation as a moderating variable showed that the transformational leadership variable had a positive effect but not significant on performance, and work motivation variable moderated by compensation showed a positive effect on performance but not significant.

Abstract

ABSTRACT This study analyzes the application of SWOT Analysis (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, Threats) in increasing sales at "Mie Ayam Toket" MSMEs in Jember. SWOT analysis is an important tool in developing business strategies, which allows MSME owners to identify internal strengths and weaknesses, as well as external opportunities and threats that can affect business operations and growth. In the context of "Toket Chicken Noodles", this study evaluates how internal factors such as product quality and customer service, as well as external factors such as market demand and competition, can be optimized to increase sales. The study also includes other approaches such as B/C Ratio to strengthen effective marketing strategies. It is hoped that the results of the SWOT analysis can provide insight to MSME owners about how to overcome existing challenges and take advantage of possible opportunities to increase sales and business success. The conclusions of this study can be the basis for developing a more effective and innovative marketing strategy for "Mie Ayam Toket" in Jember.

Abstract

Mining companies on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) are one of the industrial sector companies that have distinctive characteristics in their financial analysis. Every year there is high demand in the market with limited supply, and commodity prices rise rapidly, even touching record highs. Thus, many investors glance at the mining sector, which makes its share price high. The purpose of this study was to examine the effect of profitability and Leverage in influencing stock Returns moderated by dividend policy. The population of this study is mining companies listed on the IDX 2020-2022. Sampling technique with purposive sampling. Data analysis and hypothesis testing using the Structural Equation Model - Partial Least Square (PLS-SEM). The results of the direct effect hypothesis using the Smart PLS 3.0 application show that Profitability has a significant effect on stock Returns, and Leverage has no significant impact on stock Returns. The results of the indirect effect hypothesis test show that profitability has no significant impact on stock Returns moderated by dividend policy and Leverage has no significant effect on stock Returns moderated by dividend policy.

Abstract

This research aims to test the partial influence of Islamic work promotion (X1), Islamic Workplace (X2) and Islamic Leadership (X3) on Employee Performance (Y) at the Basmallah Tempurejo Shop, Jember. The sample size is 75 employees. The questionnaire takes data from instruments (evidence and credibility tests), superior hypothesis testing (multicollinearity, normality and heteroscedasticity tests), multiple regression analysis and hypothesis testing (test and coefficient of determination). All of these methods are used with SPSS 21.0 support. The impact of the examination shows that the flexibility of Islamic activities (X1) has a relevant impact on employee abilities (Y) amounting to 0.026, the flexibility of Islamic activities (X2) has a relevant impact on employee capabilities (Y) amounting to 0.028 and the flexibility of Islamic leadership (the event proves that Islamic activity motivation, place Islamic work and Islamic leaders have an influence of 79% on employee job changes. Other factors not taken into account during this examination represent the remaining 0.21% or 21%.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze and examine the influence of education, work discipline, and work environment on the performance of village officials through job satisfaction. The population of this study consists of village officials from Banyuputih, Sumberejo, and Sumberwaru. The sampling technique used is quota sampling. Data analysis and hypothesis testing are conducted using Structural Equation Modeling - Partial Least Square (PLS-SEM). The results of the direct influence hypothesis testing using the Smart PLS 3.0 application indicate that education does not have a significant effect on job satisfaction and performance. Work discipline has a significant effect on job satisfaction and performance. The work environment does not have a significant effect on job satisfaction and performance. Additionally, job satisfaction does not significantly affect performance. The results of the indirect influence hypothesis testing show that education on job satisfaction through performance has a positive but not significant effect. Work discipline on job satisfaction through performance also has a positive but not significant effect. Similarly, the work environment on job satisfaction through performance has a positive but not significant effect.

Abstract

When weighed against other production elements like money, skills, and natural resources, human resources stand out as a major player for any given firm. The three production elements are mostly driven by humans. In addition, people are the most important component in determining whether an organization will succeed or fail in reaching its objectives. The caliber of an organization's human resources greatly determines how well it accomplishes its goals and purposes. Using work motivation factors as a moderator, this research sought to examine the effects of leadership style and job satisfaction on the performance of Non-State Civil Apparatus (ASN) at Situbondo Regency's Office of Communication, Informatics, and Encoding. It is a quantitative study. This research used 30 Non-State Civil Apparatus (ASN) as its population. Saturated sampling was used as the sample method. The data analysis and hypothesis testing in this research were conducted using the Structural Equation Method - Partial Least Square (PLS-SEM). The findings of the Smart PLS 3.0 application's direct effect hypothesis testing reveal that leadership style has a substantial negative impact on performance. Performance is positively impacted by job happiness. The effect of leadership style on performance is mitigated to a large extent by intrinsic motivation at work. There is no moderating effect of work motivation on the relationship between leadership style and performance.
