This research was conducted to determine the number of parasite microhabitats, intensity, prevalence, and the relationship between fish length and body weight and the parasites obtained. The research sample was obtained from TPI Atapupu which was carried out from November 2023 to December 2023. The method used during the research was quantitative descriptive and the method used to take samples was random (random sampling). The total fish samples examined were 50 fish consisting of the species.

Abstract

A polyhouse, often known as a greenhouse, is a building constructed for the controlled growing of plants. It is often built of translucent materials such as glass or plastic and is intended to offer a regulated temperature for plants, shielding them from harsh weather but allowing sunlight to pass through. The study considers various factors such as affordability and feasibility, combines IoT and fuzzy control techniques, uses GPRS for remote control, and creates a smart greenhouse monitoring system that is user-friendly, simple to operate, and performs well. Moreover, there are automated control mechanisms, such as greenhouse doors and windows that roll on and off in response to soil moisture levels. By using IoT to maintain precise parameters like CO2, soil moisture, temperature, and light in the greenhouse, the technology will help farmers increase productivity while reducing the need for physical field visits. An internet connection and an IoT kit are used for the task. The bell pepper plant's greenhouse conditions include CO2, soil moisture, temperature, and light

Abstract

Until now, Indonesia does not have its own method or a developed method for calculating runway capacity. The DORATASK method recommended by ICAO has the weakness that it can only be optimally used for single runway operations. Meanwhile, there are runway characters in Indonesia: Opposite Runway Operation, Crossing Runway Operation, Parallel Runway Operation, Staggered Parallel Runway Operation, and Low/Very Low Traffic for AFIS Airports. The aim of this research is to develop the DORATASK method so that it is compatible with runway capacity calculations with other characteristics. The method used in this research is mixed-method, with descriptive analysis categories and final results/research conclusions using ratio calculations/validity tests and formulas for new methods taken from main parameters, velocity and Pythagoras. The results of the validity test between the DORATASK method and the new method were obtained at the four airports, namely Soekarno Hatta Airport with the DORATASK method = 107 movements/hour and with the new method = 148 movements/hour, Budiarto Airport with the DORATASK method = 39 movements/hour and with the new method = 48 movements/hour, Ende Airport with the DORATASK method = 1 movement/hour and with the new method = 11 movements/hour, Rokot Airport with the DORATASK method = no results obtained and with the new method = 4 movements/hour. The principles and parameters used in the DORATASK method are still used, but are developed in the Aircraft mix, Runway Occupancy Time and Separation parameters.

Abstract

Today's world is faced with a complex and constantly changing geopolitical landscape. Tensions that occur in the world such as the South China Sea, Ukraine, the Middle East make many countries in the world wary, including Indonesia. Indonesia as the largest archipelagic country needs a sea defense strategy to safeguard its national interests. This research aims to benefit from the Scapa flow battle to strengthen Indonesia's sea defenses. This research uses the literature study method. The results showed that the strongest defense can be penetrated if not equipped with strategy and careful preparation. In conclusion: in addition to the strategic geographical location, it is necessary to pay attention to other factors such as layered defense systems, conducting patrols and tight guard around sea bases, the use of the latest technology to detect and intercept submarines, and good training for personnel.

Abstract

The Vietnam War was one of the most controversial and influential military conflicts of the 20th century. This journal article aims to provide an in-depth analysis of the history, causes, and impact of the war that raged in Vietnam from 1955 to 1975. Using primary and secondary sources, the author investigates various aspects of the conflict, including the historical context, the underlying reasons for the outbreak of the war, and far-reaching consequences that continue to shape regional and global affairs to this day. Cold War rivalry between the United States and the Soviet Union also played an important role, with the US supporting the South Vietnamese government to prevent the spread of communism in Southeast Asia. Apart from that, the methodology used in this research is a descriptive qualitative method. This method is applied by reviewing various literature related to this research topic. Thus, the role of nationalism and regional dynamics contribute to the escalation of hostilities in the region. These events had significant implications for the trajectory of the conflict and shaped public opinion both in the countries involved and internationally.
