Abstract

Abstract This research addresses reading difficulties in children, especially those with dyslexia, and the impact this has on their language skills. The main objective of this study was to understand the challenges dyslexic students face and teachers' analysis of the factors that cause these difficulties, and formulate strategies to help them. The approach used was descriptive qualitative, focusing on one dyslexic student. Difficulties included recognizing letters, reading words, and understanding sentences. Teacher and parent support is essential, and collaboration between them is needed to provide effective learning strategies.  Abstrak Penelitian ini membahas kesulitan membaca pada anak, terutama yang mengalami disleksia, serta dampaknya terhadap kemampuan bahasa mereka. Tujuan utama penelitian ini adalah memahami tantangan yang dihadapi siswa disleksia dan analisis guru terhadap faktor penyebab kesulitan ini, serta merumuskan strategi untuk membantu mereka. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif, fokus pada satu siswa disleksia. Kesulitan termasuk mengenali huruf, membaca kata, dan memahami kalimat. Dukungan guru dan orang tua sangat penting, dan kolaborasi antara mereka diperlukan untuk memberikan strategi pembelajaran yang efektif.

Abstract

Abstract This study aims to identify the causes and impacts of bullying on students' motivation and learning achievement at SDN 1 Mindahan. Based on initial observation data and interviews with teachers, it was found that bullying cases still occur and have an impact on the learning environment. This research used a qualitative approach with a case study method. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, participatory observation, and documentation analysis. The results showed that verbal bullying was the most dominant form, followed by physical and social bullying. The impact on victims includes decreased self-confidence, anxiety, and reduced motivation to learn, which has a direct impact on decreased academic performance. In addition, the bully also has difficulty focusing on learning and tends to repeat aggressive behavior. To overcome this problem, SDN 1 Mindahan has implemented various prevention strategies, such as the 3S (Salam, Senyum, Sapa) program, the use of visual media as an anti-bullying campaign, and the involvement of parents in the intervention process. This study confirms that bullying has a significant impact on students' academic and social development. Therefore, more effective prevention and intervention strategies are needed with active involvement from schools, teachers and parents to create a safe and supportive learning environment. Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi penyebab dan dampak bullying terhadap motivasi dan prestasi belajar siswa di SDN 1 Mindahan. Berdasarkan data observasi awal dan wawancara dengan guru, ditemukan bahwa kasus bullying masih terjadi dan berdampak pada lingkungan belajar. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi partisipatif, dan analisis dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa bullying verbal merupakan bentuk yang paling dominan, diikuti oleh bullying fisik dan sosial. Dampaknya terhadap korban meliputi penurunan kepercayaan diri, kecemasan, serta motivasi belajar yang berkurang, yang berdampak langsung pada penurunan prestasi akademik. Selain itu, pelaku bullying juga mengalami kesulitan dalam berfokus pada pembelajaran dan cenderung mengulang perilaku agresif. Untuk mengatasi permasalahan ini, SDN 1 Mindahan telah menerapkan berbagai strategi pencegahan, seperti program 3S (Salam, Senyum, Sapa), pemanfaatan media visual sebagai kampanye anti-bullying, serta keterlibatan orang tua dalam proses intervensi. Penelitian ini menegaskan bahwa bullying memiliki dampak signifikan terhadap perkembangan akademik dan sosial siswa. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan strategi pencegahan dan intervensi yang lebih efektif dengan keterlibatan aktif dari sekolah, guru, dan orang tua guna menciptakan lingkungan belajar yang aman dan mendukung.

Abstract

Abstract Child sexual abuse (CSA) is a global problem. One of the causes is the lack of parental knowledge. Lack of knowledge in conveying and teaching children about sexual education as an effort to prevent CSA is one of the factors that cause it is the level of education. The purpose of this study was to find the relationship between education level and parental knowledge about the prevention of CSA. Correlational research was conducted in the Dayeuhkolot area, Bandung Regency, involving 100 parents of students in grades 1-6 from both schools, determined using stratified random sampling. The instrument used contained demographic data and questions about parents' knowledge of CSA prevention. Data was collected in August-November 2024 and analyzed using the chi-square test. It was found that there was no significant relationship between education level and parental knowledge about CSA prevention (p = 0.504).  Abstrak Kekerasan seksual pada anak (KSA) merupakan masalah global. Salah satu penyebabnya adalah kurangnya pengetahuan orang tua. Kurangnya pengetahuan dalam menyampaikan dan mengajarkan anak tentang pendidikan seksual sebagai upaya pencegahan KSA salah satu faktor penyebabnya adalah tingkat pendidikan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mencari hubungan antara tingkat pendidikan dan pengetahuan orang tua tentang pencegahan KSA. Penelitian korelasional dilakukan di Sekolah Dasar wilayah Dayeuhkolot, Kabupaten Bandung, dengan melibatkan 100 orang tua siswa kelas 1-6 yang ditentukan dengan stratified random sampling. Instrumen yang digunakan berisi data demografi dan pertanyaan tentang pengetahuan orang tua mengenai pencegahan KSA. Pengambilan data dilakukan pada bulan Agustus-November 2024 dan dianalisis menggunakan uji chi-square. Didapatkan hasil bahwa tidak terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara tingkat pendidikan dengan pengetahuan orang tua tentang pencegahan KSA (p = 0,504).

Abstract

Abstract The aim of the research is to determine the effect of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model assisted by the kahoot apllication on students` cognitive learning outcomes. The research method used is a quantitative approach with a pre-experemental design and using a one group pretest-posttest model. The populayion in this study were fifth grade student at SD Negeri Adikarto 1 who were selected using a saturated using a saturated sampling technque. The instrument used is a description test that has beeb validated. The result of this research show an increase in student learning outcomes, with an average pretest score of 51.92 increasing to 80.38 in the posttest score. The paired sample-t test statistical test shows a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05 which proves that there is a significant influence from the application of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model assisted by the kahoot application on student’s  cognitive learning outcomes. Abstrak Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh model Problem Based Learning (PBL) berbantuan aplikasi kahoot terhadap hasil belajar kognitif siswa. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain pre-eksperimen dan menggunakan model one group pretest-postest. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas V SD Negeri Adikarto 1 yang dipilih melalui teknik sampel jenuh. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah tes uraian yang telah divalidasi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan adanya peningkatan hasil belajar siswa, dengan rata-rata nilai pretest 51.92 meningkat menjadi 80,38 pada nilai postest. Uji statistik Paired Sample t-tes menunjukkan nilai signifikansi sebesar 0.000 < 0.05 yang membuktikan adanya pengaruh signifikan dari penerapan model Problem Based Learning (PBL) berbantuan aplikasi kahoot terhadap hasil belajar kognitif siswa.

Abstract

Abstract Parenting styles play a crucial role in influencing the emotional development of children with special needs. The emotional responses of these children vary depending on their specific needs, which can be assessed based on emotional triggers and their reactions to those triggers. Parents must adopt appropriate parenting styles that align with their child's disabilities and conditions to ensure optimal emotional development in the future. This study aims to examine the relationship between parenting styles and the emotional development of children with special needs at SLB BC Fadhilah. This research employs a quantitative method with a descriptive correlational approach. The study sample consists of parents of children with special needs, using a total sampling technique with 40 respondents. Parenting styles were measured using the Parenting Styles and Dimensions Questionnaire, while emotional development was assessed using an emotional development instrument adopted from Khotimah. Univariate analysis revealed that 20% of parents exhibited an authoritarian parenting style, while 80% adopted a democratic parenting style. Regarding emotional development, the majority of children were categorized as having moderate emotional development. The bivariate analysis, conducted using Spearman's test, showed that the correlation value between the democratic parenting style and children's emotional development was 0.248, while the correlation value for the authoritarian parenting style was also 0.248. These results indicate that there is no significant relationship between parenting styles and the emotional development of children with special needs. Abstrak Pola asuh orang tua merupakan hal yang sangat mempengaruhi perkembangan emosional anak berkebutuhan khusus. Emosional anak berkebutuhan khusus berbeda sesuai dengan jenis kebutuhannya hal ini bisa ditinjau dari pemicu dan cara anak berkebutuhan khusus berespons terhadap pemicu emosi. Orang tua harus menentukan pola asuh yang sesuai dengan hambatan dan kondisi anak berkebutuhan khusus agar menentukan perkembangan emosional anak di masa depan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan pola asuh orang tua dengan perkembangan emosional anak berkebutuhan khusus di SLB BC Fadhilah.  Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif korelasional. Sampel penelitian ini adalah orang tua anak berkebutuhan khusus dengan teknik pengambilan data total sampling sebanyak 40 responden. Pola asuh orang tua diukur dengan menggunakan Parenting Styles and Dimensions Questionnaire  dan perkembangan emosional diukur menggunakan instrumen perkembangan emosional yang telah diadopsi oleh Khotimah. Hasil analisis univariat karakteristik pola asuh otoriter (20%), dan demokratis (80%). Untuk perkembangan emosional didapatkan hasil bahwa perkembangan emosional mayoritas berada pada kategori cukup. Hasil analisis bivariat dengan uji spearman didapatkan nilai pola asuh orang tua demokratis terhadap perkembangan emosional anak 0.248 dan nilai pola asuh orang tua otoriter terhadap perkembangan anak 0.248 hal ini menunjukkan tidak terdapat hubungan antara pola asuh orang tua dengan perkembangan emosional. Tidak terdapat hubungan antara pola asuh orang tua dengan perkembangan emosional anak berkebutuhan khusus.

Abstract

Abstract The purpose of this research and development is to describe the development of media, the level of media validity, the effectiveness of the media, and the practicality of FLISISPENSA (Human Digestive System Flipbook) media towards increasing elementary students' science literacy. The method used in this research is Research and Development (R&D) with the ADDIE development model. The stages in this development research include problem identification, data collection, product design, product design validation, product design revision, field trials, and evaluation. The results of the validation carried out by material experts show a percentage score of 96% with a “very high” category, while for media experts get a percentage rate of 94.66% with a “very high” category, and for learning design experts receive a score of 94% with a “very high” category. The effectiveness of the media is seen from the results of the T Test which produces a sig. value of 0.001, which is smaller than 0.05, so it can be concluded that there is an increase in the value of science literacy from 64% to 86%. Meanwhile, the results of practicality based on student assessment reached a percentage of 87.37% with the criteria “very practical”, and according to the teacher's assessment got a percentage of 97% with the category “very practical”. Abstrak Tujuan penelitian dan pengembangan ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan pengembangan media, tingkat validitas media, keefektifan media, dan kepraktisan media FLISISPENSA (Flipbook Sistem Pencernaan Manusia) terhadap peningkatan literasi sains siswa SD. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Research and Development (R&D) dengan model pengembangan ADDIE. Tahapan dalam penelitian pengembangan ini mencakup identifikasi permasalahan, pengumpulan data, desain produk, validasi desain produk, revisi desain produk, uji coba lapangan, dan evaluasi. Hasil dari validasi yang dilakukan oleh ahli materi menunjukkan persentase skor sebesar 96% dengan kategori “sangat tinggi”, sementara untuk ahli media mendapatkan angka persentase 94,66% dengan kategori “sangat tinggi”, dan untuk ahli desain pembelajaran menerima skor 94% dengan kategori “sangat tinggi”. Efektivitas media terlihat dari hasil uji T Test yang menghasilkan nilai sig. sebesar 0.001, yang lebih kecil dari 0.05, sehingga dapat disimpulkan terdapat peningkatan dalam nilai literasi sains dari 64% menjadi 86%. Sedangkan, hasil kepraktisan berdasarkan penilaian siswa mencapai persentase 87,37% dengan kriteria “sangat praktis”, dan menurut penilaian guru mendapatkan persentase 97% dengan kategori “sangat praktis”.

Abstract This research is motivated by the results of the initial test of student's problem-solving abilities that have not been as expected, student's problem-solving abilities are still low. One  of the learning methods that can improve student's problem-solving abilities is Think Pair Share learning assisted by Monusra media. The purpose of this study was to determine the differences in student's problem-solving abilities in the use of the Think Pair Share learning model assisted by Monusra media (Monopoly Nusantara), and to determine the effect of using the Think Pair Share learning model assisted by Monusra media (Monopoly Nusantara) on student's problem-solving abilities. This study is a quasi-experimental study with a non-equivalent control group design. The subjects in this study were class V A and class V B MI Sabilul Huda Jimbaran. Data collection was carried out using observation sheets, questionnaires, and tests. Based on the results of the analysis, it was concluded that: 1) There is a difference in the use of the Think Pair Share learning model on student’s problem-solving abilities assisted by Monusra media, as evidenced by a significance level of <0.05, namely 0.001 <0.05. Therefore, it can be concluded that there is a significant difference between the quality of learning in the experimental class and the control class. The average for the experimental class 76.30 is greater than the control class 72.53. 2) There is an influence of the use of the Think Pair Share learning model on the ability to solve problems assisted by Monusra media. proven by t count = 6.830> t table = 1.701 and a significance value <0.05, namely 0.000. So that in the variable of problem solving ability there is an influence of the Think Pair Share learning model assisted by Monusra media on problem solving ability of 62.5%.   Abstrak Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh hasil tes awal kemampuan pemecahan masalah siswa belum sesuai dengan yang diharapkan, kemampuan pemecahan masalah siswa masih rendah. Salah satu pembelajaran yang dapat meningkatkan kemampuan pemecahan masalah siswa adalah dengan pembelajaran Think Pair Share berbantuan dengan media Monusra. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui perbedaan kemampuan pemecahan masalah siswa dalam penggunaan model pembelajaran Think Pair Share berbantuan media Monusra (Monopoli Nusantara), serta untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan model pembelajaran Think Pair Share berbantuan media Monusra (Monopoli Nusantara) terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah siswa. Metode penelitian ini adalah quasi eksperimen dengan desain non equivalent control group design. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah kelas V A dan kelas V B MI Sabilul Huda Jimbaran sebanyak 60 siswa. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan lembar observasi, lembar angket, dan tes. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan yaitu analisis regresi untuk melihat seberapa besar pengaruh suatu variabel yang diterapkan. Berdasarkan hasil analisis diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa: 1) Terdapat perbedaan penggunaan model pembelajaran Think Pair Share terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah siswa berbantuan media Monusra, dibuktikan dengan taraf nilai signifikansi < 0,05 yaitu 0,001 < 0,05. Maka dari itu, dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara kualitas pembelajaran di kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol. Rata-rata untuk kelas eksperimen 76,30 lebih besar daripada kelas kontrol 72,53. 2) Terdapat pengaruh penggunaan model pembelajaran Think Pair Share terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah berbantuan media Monusra. dibuktikan dengan thitung = 6,830 > ttabel =1,701  dan nilai signifikansi < 0,05 yaitu 0,000. Sehingga pada variabel kemampuan pemecahan masalah terdapat pengaruh model pembelajaran Think Pair Share berbantuan media Monusra terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah sebesar 62,5%.

Abstract

Abstract This research aims to test the effectiveness of the comic-assisted Problem Based Learning model on the critical thinking skills of grade IV students of SD Negeri Bandungan 01. The research carried out was quantitative using a quasi-experimental method, in the form of a one-group pretest–posttest design. Data collection techniques to measure the learning outcomes of students' critical thinking skills with assessments in the form of pretest and posttest. The research sample was 28 students in grade IV A SD Negeri Bandungan 01. The results of the study showed that there was an increase in student learning outcomes as evidenced by the comparison of pretest and posttest results, the posttest score was much higher with an average of 64.57 compared to the pretest score with an average of 39.57. So it can be concluded that the comic-assisted Problem Based Learning model is effective on the critical thinking skills of grade IV students of SD Negeri Bandungan 01. Based on the results of this study, suggestions can be given so that teachers can implement the comic-assisted Problem Based Learning model to create effective and fun learning for students.  Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji keefektifan model Problem Based Learning berbantuan komik terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa kelas IV SD Negeri Bandungan 01. Penelitian yang dilaksanakan berjenis kuantitatif menggunakan metode quasi eksperimen, dengan bentuk desain one-group pretest–posttest design. Teknik pengumpulan data untuk mengukur hasil belajar kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa dengan penilaian berupa pretest dan posttest. Sampel penelitian adalah siswa kelas IV A SD Negeri Bandungan 01 sebanyak 28 siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat peningkatan hasil belajar siswa dibuktikan dengan perbandingan hasil pretest dan posttest, nilai posttest jauh lebih tinggi dengan rata-rata 64,57 dibandingkan nilai pretest dengan rata-rata 39,57. Sehingga dapat diambil kesimpulan bahwa model Problem Based Learning berbantuan komik efektif terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa kelas IV SD Negeri Bandungan 01. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini, dapat diberikan saran agar guru bisa mengimplementasikan model Problem Based Learning berbantuan komik agar tercipta pembelajaran efektif serta menyenangkan untuk siswa.

Abstract

Abstract  This research is based on students low problem solving ability. One effort to improve the situation is by using the model Team Games Tournament. The aim of the research was to investigate the effectiveness of the Team Games Tournament model on students' problem solving abilities with the help of ULTADU (Educational Snakes Ladders) in class V students at SDN Sidomulyo 04. The type of research used was a quasi-experiment with a non-equivalent control group research design by providing pre-test and final post-test abilities. The instruments used in this research were tests and non-tests.  The sample chosen in this research was the VA class with 25 students and the VB class with 25 students. The experimental class VB was treated using the Team Games Tournament model with the help of ULTADU. The control class VA was given treatment using the Team Games Tournament model without the help of learning media. The research results showed that the average problem solving ability of the experimental class was 77.04 percentage of success (71%) while the average problem solving ability of the control class was 68.48 percentage of success (68%), the average problem solving ability of the experimental class was better than the control class and the percentage of success of the experimental class was better than the control class. Thus, it can be concluded that the TGT learning model assisted by ULTADU is effective on the problem solving abilities of  grade V elementary school students.  Abstrak                                                                                         Penelitian ini dasari oleh rendahnya kemampuan pemecahan masalah siswa. Salah satu upaya untuk memperbaiki keadaan dengan menggunakan model Team Games Tournament. Tujuan penelitian untuk menyelidiki keefektifan model Team Games Tournament terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah siswa berbantuan ULTADU (Ular Tangga Edukatif) pada siswa kelas V SDN Sidomulyo 04. Jenis penelitian yang dipakai adalah quasi eksperimen dengan desain penelitian non equivalent control grup design dengan memberikan kemampuan tes awal pretest dan tes akhir posttest. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah tes dan non tes.  Sample yang dipilih dalam penelitian ini adalah kelas VA berjumlah 25 siswa dan kelas VB berjumlah 25 siswa. Kelas eksperimen VB diberi perlakuan menerapkan model Team Games Tournament berbantuan ULTADU kelas kontrol VA diberi perlakuan menerapkan model Team Games Tournament tanpa berbantuan media pembelajaran. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa rata – rata kemampuan pemecahan masalah kelas eksperimen 77,04 persentase keberhasilan (71%)  sedangkan rata – rata kemampuan pemecahan masalah kelas kontrol 68,48 persentase keberhasilan (68%), rata – rata kemampuan pemecahan masalah kelas eksperimen lebih baik dari kelas kontrol serta persentase keberhasilan kelas eksperimen lebih baik dari kelas kontrol. Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa model pembelajaran Team Games Tournament berbantuan ULTADU efektif terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah siswa kelas V Sekolah Dasar.

Abstract

Abstract Conceptual abilities can be expressed specifically in the context of changing behavior, re-expressing a concept, using a concept and being able to develop a concept. Changes in behavior experienced by students due to stimulus and responsse are called behaviorist theory, stimulus is whatever the teacher gives to the student while responsse is the student's responsse to the stimulus the teacher provides. The aim of this research is to analyze the ability of multiplication concepts in class II students' mathematics learning in terms of behavioristic theory. The population in this study were 9 students in grade II at SDN 3 Piji and the sample in this study was 3 students. This research uses a qualitative descriptive research type. The number of subjects that the researcher used was 3 using a purposive technique based on the criteria used by the researcher in the form of high students, medium students, and low students. Data collection techniques use observation, interviews and documentation. Data analysis techniques according to Miles and Huberman which include data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of research at SDN 3 Piji show that the multiplication concept ability seen from behavioristic theory of students in the high student category shows changes in behavior such as being fluent in memorizing multiplications, memorizing multiplications and working on questions without help from the teacher. Students in the medium category showed changes in behavior such as not being fluent in memorizing multiplications and when memorizing multiplications students still counted using their fingers. Students in the low category show changes in behavior such as not being fluent in memorizing multiplications, not calculating multiplications but immediately answering with naughty answers and still needing help from the teacher. Abstrak Kemampuan konsep dapat dinyatakan secara khusus dalam konteks perubahan tingkah laku, mengungkapkan kembali sebuah konsep, menggunakan konsep dan dapat mengembangkan konsep. Perubahan tingkah laku yang dialami oleh siswa karena adanya stimulus dan respons disebut teori behavioristik, stimulus adalah apa saja yang diberikan oleh guru kepada siswa sedangkan respons adalah tanggapan siswa atas stimulus yang guru berikan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis kemampuan konsep perkalian pada pembelajaran matematika siswa kelas II ditinjau dari teori behavioristik. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas II di SDN 3 Piji yang berjumlah 9 siswa dan sampel pada penelitian ini berjumlah 3 siswa. Subjek yang peneliti gunakan berjumlah 3 menggunakan teknik purposive berdasarkan kriteria yang digunakan peneliti berupa siswa tinggi, siswa sedang, siswa rendah. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data menurut Miles dan Huberman yang meliputi reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian di SDN 3 Piji menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan konsep perkalian dilihat dari teori behavioristik siswa dengan kategori siswa tinggi menunjukkah perubahan tingkah laku seperti lancar dalam menghafal perkalian, menghafal perkalian dan mengerjakan soal tanpa bantuan dari guru. Siswa dengan kategori sedang menunjukkan perubahan tingkah laku seperti belum lancar dalam menghafal perkalian dan saat menghafal perkalian siswa masih menghitung menggunakan jari. Siswa dengan kategori rendah menunjukkan perubahan tingkah laku seperti tidak lancar dalam menghafal perkalian, tidak menghitung perkalian tetapi langsung menjawab dengan jawaban yang sembarangan dan masih memerlukan bantuan dari guru.
