Panrita Inovasi: Jurnal Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat
Panrita Inovasi: Jurnal Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (PIJPM, E-ISSN 2964-9064) is a peer-reviewed journal published by the Social Science Education Study Program, Universitas Negeri Makassar. PIJPM provides open access to the principle that research published in this journal is freely available to the public to support the exchange of knowledge globally. PIJPM published two-issue articles per year namely in June and December. PIJPM provides a place for academics, researchers, and practitioners to publish scientific articles. Each text sent to PIJPM editor is reviewed by peer review. Starting from Vol. 1 No. 1 (June 2022), all manuscripts sent to the PIJPM editor are accepted in Bahasa Indonesia or English. The scope of the articles listed in this journal relates to various topics, including (1) Education for Sustainable Development, (2) Community Services, Local Food Security, Nutrition and Public Health, (3) Training, Marketing, Appropriate Technology, Design, (4) Community Empowerment, Social Access, (5) Student Community Services, and (6) Border Region, Less Developed Region. This journal is available in print and online and highly respects the ethics of publication and avoids all types of plagiarism.

<![CDATA[Gorontalo is one of the areas in Indonesia that has the potential for natural disasters, so efforts are needed to minimize the impact of disasters. One effort to deal with the threat of disaster is to increase the role of literacy and local wisdom to provide an understanding of the hazards and impacts of disasters in disaster-prone areas. The purpose of this community service is to strengthen the role of literacy and local wisdom in increasing the preparedness of SMA Negeri 1 Bone Pantai students in facing the threat of disaster. The target of this activity is high school students. The method used in this community service activity is a quantitative approach with student participation, namely by involving students directly through mentoring during school service activities. The results of the pre-test, namely 50% of students understand the role of literacy and local wisdom and the results of the post-test show that 83% of students understand the role of literacy and local wisdom in increasing disaster preparedness. All students took part in strengthening the role of literacy and local wisdom enthusiastically through outreach and discussion. Thus strengthening the role of literacy and local wisdom in increasing disaster preparedness can be said to be good by providing socialization and concrete actions that will be remembered by students in disaster preparedness. This activity is expected to have a positive impact as an effort to increase the preparedness of SMA N 1 Bone Pantai District students. Gorontalo. ]]>

<![CDATA[History students are currently the object of activating historical literacy where reading sources in history learning are very efficient with the preparation of various historical library facilities which are quite representative and enable students to be more active in studying history learning, however based on visits to the library currently it is still very minimal. So it is necessary to carry out outreach and optimization to actively engage in historical literacy, one of the implementations of which is optimizing the learning resources available to students and the general public. Based on the results of observations, it is considered important to optimize the History Library for students. The activities carried out are outreach in the form of counseling, library management training, and literacy competitions. ]]>

<![CDATA[MA Nurul Islam is a private school located in Barito Kuala Regency, South Kalimantan Province. The ability of most high school students to use computer technology is still below minimum standards, especially in the field of graphic design. This can be seen in some students who take computer subjects with limited materials and facilities at the school. The aim of this service is to create MA Nurul Islam students who have knowledge and creativity in the computer field, especially for graphic design applications, as well as educate students in using graphic design applications, one of which is Photoshop. It is hoped that students can design and develop their creative talents in the field of design. This activity is carried out using a comprehensive mentoring method for MA Nurul Islam students through socializing graphic design applications using Photoshop by practicing making poster designs as objects that will be produced in this service activity. <![CDATA[The PKM program is carried out by providing socialization to participants regarding the understanding and prevention of bullying in the school environment with the aim of (1) to increase knowledge about bullying based on school literacy groups, (2) participants can properly implement efforts to prevent bullying through literacy groups in the process of activities at school. , and (3) participants can disseminate or disseminate knowledge about the dangers of bullying in the school environment through a literacy group approach. The main target audience for PKM Program activities are school supervisors, school principals, school teachers, and students at UPT SPF SMPN 55 Barombong Makassar. The results obtained in the PKM program activities are increased knowledge and concepts of bullying prevention based on school literacy groups, increased understanding regarding the flow of prevention and reporting if bullying occurs at school, and PKM program participants can implement their own attitudes so as not to become perpetrators of bullying in the school environment and community environment.. The outcomes of PKM activities are (1) increased knowledge of participants regarding activity materials, (2) scientific articles published at national seminars, and (3) publication of PKM implementation on online media.]]>

<![CDATA[Sexual violence that occurs in a university environment is a different matter when compared to sexual violence within the scope of criminal law. Sexual violence is an urgent matter which is regulated separately in Minister of Education and Culture Regulation Number 30 of 2021 concerning Prevention and Handling of Sexual Violence in Higher Education Environments, and there is a need to equalize perceptions regarding sexual violence in higher education environments. Based on this, the aim of this service is to provide adequate understanding of sexual violence in the tertiary environment, so that awareness for preventing sexual violence can be implemented optimally. The methods used in implementing this service are observation, counseling and evaluation. This service activity increases knowledge for lecturers, staff, students and campus residents regarding the types of sexual violence, the subjects involved, and the threat of sanctions against perpetrators of sexual violence.]]>

<![CDATA[Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk melaksanakan salah satu Tridharma Perguruan Tinggi, yaitu memberikan motivasi kepada para atlet tenis meja Bengkulu untuk meningkatkan prestasinya pada Kejuaraan Daerah Sumatera di Solok Sumatera Barat. Permasalahan utama yang dihadapi atlet dan pengurus dalam meningkatkan prestasi adalah kurangnya anggaran untuk membiayai pelatih dalam mengikuti pertandingan di tingkat Nasional. Oleh karena itu, setiap atlet yang bertanding tidak didampingi oleh pelatihnya, padahal peran pelatih sangat penting bagi atlet untuk mencapai prestasi. Metode yang digunakan untuk mencapai tujuan kegiatan ini adalah 1). Tahap persiapan dengan Focus Group Discussion, 2). Manajemen pelatihan klinik kepelatihan, 3). Pendampingan intensif terhadap atlet tenis meja. dan 4). Laporan evaluasi selama kegiatan berlangsung.]]>

<![CDATA[Cultural values and language speech are important factors that influence students' attitudes, behavior and self-identity formation. Character education through kind words plays an important role in instilling positive values and supporting a person's character development. Cultural experts believe that language reflects culture and is important for the progress of society. The purpose of this paper is to explain the important role of cultural values and linguistic speech in the development of student character in the era of disruption. The method used in this paper is descriptive with context analysis of cultural values and language speech. The results and conclusions of cultural and linguistic values in the development of student character in the era of disruption are that they are able to form positive student character, cultural and linguistic values in developing student personality are very important in supporting a person's personality development and instilling positive values in society.]]>

<![CDATA[This service aims to increase the motivation, knowledge and participation of women, especially Massendrempulu students, in leading organizations. This activity was motivated by the lack of motivation, knowledge, and lack of participation by Massendrempulu female students in leading organizations and creating gender-responsive programs. The method used in this activity is to provide strengthening insight in the form of lectures and discussions. The activity participants were cadres of the Massendrempulu Student Association, Ujung Pandang Polytechnic Commissariat. This activity will take place in July 2023 offline in the HPMM dormitory hall. The material presented includes; gender perspective in society, the urgency and strategy of women's leadership, and the role and programs of organizations in addressing gender issues in organizations and society. It is hoped that this activity can increase knowledge and participation in taking responsibility as a leader, as well as produce programs that are gender responsive and empower women. The implications of this service will increase female students' insight and participation in leading organizations and social sensitivity to deal with gender discrimination issues.]]>

<![CDATA[Sekolah/madrasah as learning institutions must always update and innovate to provide the best learning and learning experiences for students. Discovery learning strategies and technology with the optimization of analytical, critical, and creative thinking can be one solution. Teachers, as the main pillar and spearhead of education, face difficulties in integrating this approach into their daily learning process. Therefore, it is urgent for teachers to participate in education and training designed with online-based development so that it reaches across geographical boundaries throughout Indonesia. The implementation of this community service is carried out by cooperating with an online education and training platform developed by the E-Guru.ID organizing institution. The implementation of this activity is carried out by taking an online-based method, which includes mentoring activities, interactive discussions, and assignments. The three methods are carried out online or online (in the network) through telegram groups and Zoom Meetings. Through the development of this online-based teacher training activity design, development strategies and discovery learning technology can contribute positively to the development of educational quality. Trainees can understand and apply the concepts of analytical, critical, and creative thinking in the context of independent learning.]]>

<![CDATA[This study aims to describe the training of research proposal writing using mind-mapping method. The training method used was counseling. This outreach activity is divided into three, namely mapping the introduction or preparation of Chapter 1, mapping the theoretical reviews or preparation of Chapter 2, and mapping the research methodology or preparation of Chapter 3. The PKM participants are students of Bahasa Inggris Program Sarjana Terapan Study Program, Universitas Negeri Makassar who were selected randomly purposive. The results of the training showed that PKM participants were able to produce background writing that was easy to understand and practical in Chapter 1, produce structured literature descriptions in Chapter 2, and produce procedural mapping of research method writing in Chapter 3. Mind mapping activities help PKM participants to be able to formulate operational definitions of research variables, identify theories or concepts in literature studies, find trusted and credible sources of information, and determine research methods. ]]>
