Abstract

The pilgrimage health ritual is for the physical and mental well-being of the pilgrims. The first step in the pilgrimage health ritual is a comprehensive health examination. The goal of the pilgrimage health ritual is to maintain the physical and mental health of the pilgrims so that they can perform the pilgrimage smoothly. The initial preparations of the pilgrims aim to reduce the risk of illness and ensure health during the pilgrimage. This research aims to outline health strategies for pilgrims before and after the pilgrimage through literature review. Pilgrims undergo psychological training to face the physical and emotional challenges of the pilgrimage. They are taught strategies to manage stress, stay motivated, and maintain inner peace to serve with focus and calmness. Additionally, the pillars of pilgrimage health also include vaccination and disease prevention. Pilgrims must receive specific vaccinations, such as meningitis and influenza, to prevent the spread of diseases. Infection prevention recommendations, such as regular handwashing, wearing masks, and avoiding contact with sick individuals, are also part of the health pillars of the pilgrimage.

Abstract

This research evaluates the service management of PT. Auliya Tour and Travel in the implementation of Hajj and Umrah. The research method used is qualitative with data collection techniques through interviews, observations, and documentation. Primary data is obtained directly from the company's director, while secondary data comes from theories, documentation, and interviews. The research results indicate that PT. Auliya Tour and Travel implements service management by setting a target of approximately 5000 pilgrims per year. A clear organizational structure is used to direct the implementation towards achieving the goals. Training in manasik guidance and health checks such as meningitis vaccinations is conducted as preparation. In Mecca, there are studies conducted by mutawwif to enhance the pilgrims' insights. Supervision is carried out directly by the director and indirectly through WhatsApp applications, as well as performance reports submitted by department heads or divisions to the director. This management process aims to ensure the perfection and satisfaction of the implementation of Hajj and Umrah for the pilgrims.

Abstract

In the implementation of Hajj ritual guidance carried out by East Metro KUA in 2022, there are still several managers who do not have a Hajj ritual guidance certificate. This quantitative research is expected to be able to answer whether the quality of the Hajj ritual instructors has any influence at all on the level of understanding of Hajj pilgrims in the KUA East Metro Region in 2022. This exploration uses quantitative illustrative examination techniques, using Likert scale poll. The exploratory information collected is then examined using statistical regression methods, to test the examination speculation. Judging from the test results using simple direct linear regression and the t test. The regression coefficient for variable X (quality of the Hajj ritual guide) is 1.004, a positive, meaning that the higher the quality of the Hajj ritual guide, the higher the level of understanding of the Hajj pilgrims. Meanwhile, the results of the t test show that the t test estimate obtained is tcount > ttable, namely 4.983 > 1.697 so that the Ho conjecture is rejected and Ha is accepted. It can be said that the quality of the Hajj ritual guide influences the level of understanding of the Hajj pilgrims. Keywords: Quality of Guides, Hajj Rituals and Congregational Understanding. Abstrak: Pembimbing manasik haji dalam kegiatan bimbingan manasik haji yang dilaksanakan oleh KUA Kecamatan Metro Timur tahun 2022 masih terdapat beberapa pembimbing yang belum memilikinya sertifikat pembimbing manasik haji. Penelitian kuantitatif ini bertujuan untuk menjawab pertanyaan peneliti tentang apakah kualitas pembimbing manasik haji berpengaruh signifikan terhadap tingkat pemahaman jamaah haji di KUA Kecamatan Metro Timur tahun 2022. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif, dengan sampel 32 responden. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan kuesioner atau angket. Untuk memperoleh data variabel X dan data variabel Y dengan menggunakan angket skala likert. Data penelitian yang terkumpul kemudian dianalisis menggunakan teknik statistik regresi, untuk menguji hipotesis penelitian. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dengan menggunakan analisis regresi linear sederhana dan uji t, maka didapat nilai koefisien regresi variabel X (kualitas pembimbing manasik haji) sebesar 1,004. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa koefisien regresi bernilai positif, yang artinya semakin tinggi kualitas pembimbing manasik haji maka semakin meningkat tingkat pemahaman jamaah haji dalam bimbingan manasik haji. Sedangkan hasil uji t menunjukkan bahwa perhitungan uji t diperoleh thitung > ttabel yaitu 4,983 > 1,697 sehingga hipotesis Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima. Dengan Ha diterima maka dapat dikatakan bahwa kualitas pembimbing manasik haji berpengaruh signifikan terhadap tingkat pemahaman jamaah haji. Kata Kunci: Kualitas Pembimbing, Manasik Haji dan Pemahaman Jamaah.

Abstract

Public relations strategy in an era of increasingly rapid business growth, especially in the field of Hajj and Umrah travel agencies, which creates new problems in the form of mushrooming fraud cases. These cases raise concerns for prospective pilgrims about choosing and trusting Hajj and Umrah travel agencies. In practice, PT Freshnel Kreasindo Perkasa Yogyakarta carries out strategies to continue to stand strong amidst business competition and the rise of fraud cases so that the company's image and consumer trust can continue to be built and maintained. This research aims to find out how public relations strategies are in building the company image and trust of prospective Hajj and Umrah pilgrims at PT Freshnel Kreasindo Perkasa Yogyakarta. The theory used in this research is the PENCILS strategy theory developed by Rosady Ruslan. The research method used is descriptive qualitative. The results of this research show that PT Freshnel Kreasindo Perkasa implements the PENCILS strategy in building the image and trust of prospective Hajj and Umrah pilgrims well, while the PENCILS strategy is in the form of publications, events, news, community involvement, information or image, lobbying and negotiating, and social responsibility

Abstract

This research aims to analyze how the spiritual journey, especially in the context of the hajj pilgrimage, can be an effective means of nurturing self-contol based on the Islamic philosophy of education. The research method used is library research, with data collection techniques in the form of documentation and content analysis. The findings of this study indicate that the hajj ritual, as a spiritual journey, provides profound experiences that can shape one's character and strengthen self-control. The study found evidence that Islamic educational concepts, such as purification of souls, mujahadah al-nafs, and riyadhah, are deeply implemented in the practice of Hajj. In conclusion, this research contributes to the understanding of the relationship between spiritual journeys and self-restraint in an Islamic context. The implications of these findings can be used as a foundation for developing more holistic educational programs, integrating spiritual and moral aspects in an effort to create the insan kamil.

Abstract

Guidance on the Hajj rituals is a very important form of service or guidance provided to prospective Hajj pilgrims by the Government as provision or guidance regarding all matters related to the Hajj pilgrimage, so that the pilgrims gain insight or knowledge so that during the implementation they can achieve a prosperous Hajj. The purpose of this research is to find out the effectiveness of the implementation of Hajj ritual guidance on improving the quality of congregational worship carried out by the KBIH Jabal Rahmah Office. The method used in this research is a qualitative descriptive research method, namely research that produces data in the form of words or speech from people or observed behavior. Meanwhile, data collection uses interview methods and also documentation collection. The results of the research were conducted through surveys and data analysis which also involved people who had taken part in the hajj ritual guidance program. The results show that the implementation of guidance involves learning about the hajj. Improving the quality of the hajj is aimed at sincere intentions in performing the hajj, obeying the hajj procedures and rules of the hajj, being patient in facing physical and emotional challenges.

Abstract

Promotional activities increase product/service knowledge and consumer's perceived value, thus further increasing their desire to make purchases.This research aims to examine the effectiveness of promotions (conventional and social media) and the level of service convenience of Hajj and Umrah management bureaus or agents in the Pantura area. The approach used in the research is quantitative descriptive. The data collection technique uses a questionnaire with purposive sampling type. The respondents used in this research came from Tegal City and Tegal Regency. The technique for analyzing data applies hypothesis testing based on changes in the Cochran version and analysis of variance through Friedman's two-way level. This research concluded that based on testing the Cochran version of the change hypothesis (Cochran change test), it was concluded that the five promotional means, both conventional and social media, used by Hajj and Umrah bureaus or agents had significant differences in effectiveness. Meanwhile, based on analysis of variance through Friedman's two-way level, the final conclusion was that respondents had significant differences in preferences for the four bureaus or agents for the level of convenience of Hajj and Umrah services. The suggestion from this research is that further research is needed to ensure that promotional tools have a better level of effectiveness than the five promotional tools from this research. And it is recommended to test the hypothesis with a more comprehensive method related to measuring the level of ease of Hajj and Umrah services.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze research trends in the field of Hajj and Umrah management from researchers around the world. Through bibliometric analysis, this research provides an overview of research maps formed from keywords and important issues analyzed using the VOSviewer application. Data was obtained from the Dimensions.ai database, with the search keyword "Hajj and Umrah Management". The research results found that research on Hajj and Umrah management has increased every year. Writers from Indonesia and Arabic are the major contributors in this studies. The results of the cluster analysis found six theme clusters, cluster 1 discussed the theme of crowd management strategies. Cluster 2, regarding special service aspects for groups of Hajj and Umrah pilgrims. Cluster 3 shows a close relationship between the themes of the Ministry of Religion, Policy and Transparency. Cluster 4 underlines the issue of customer satisfaction, the role of related institutions and Umrah services in Indonesia. Meanwhile, cluster 5 groups issues regarding the application of technology, applications and information systems in Hajj management. And cluster 6, reflects the relationship between the COVID-19 Pandemic and Hajj and Umrah Management.

Abstract

Every year, the Indonesian Ministry of Religion recruits journalists from various mass media as Hajj Media Center (MCH) officers. In addition to conveying news regarding the implementation of the Hajj pilgrimage, the existence of MCH is a form of openness to public information from the Ministry of Religion as the organizer of the Hajj pilgrimage. MCH is also required to be able to counter disinformation and hoax related to the implementation of the Hajj pilgrimage. Using qualitative descriptive methods, this research is intended to observe the role of MCH in countering disinformation and hoax, especially those circulating on social media. The research results show that MCH still needs to optimize its communication strategy in countering disinformation and hoax.

Abstract

It is very important for pilgrims to explore and study the science of rituals before carrying out the Hajj or Umrah. At Rumah Manasik Hijrah Muslim Center (HMC) Payakumbuh there were fluctuations and targets were not achieved. Therefore, the research aims to analyze the implementation of the marketing mix carried out by Rumah Manasik HMC Payakumbuh which has not been carried out optimally, because it is still. This type of research includes field research using qualitative descriptive methods. The author chose a qualitative method using interviews and observations. This research uses 8 informants who will be interviewed, namely leaders, employees and several congregation members who took part in the manasik study at Rumah Manasik HMC Payakumbuh. The results of the research obtained are that the officers and sections of the manasik organizers at Rumah Manasik HMC Payakumbuh have implemented good 7P marketing, namely Product, price, promotion, place, people, physical evidence, and process. All forms of products provided by Rumah Manasik HMC Payakumbuh are certainly more affordable and will be able to help the congregation in worshiping while in the holy land. Using various methods for preaching, whether using print media, digital electronics and social media can certainly attract the interest of the congregation. Currently, the most effective marketing method carried out by Rumah Manasik HMC Payakumbuh is by conveying messages by word of mouth.
