Abstract

The purpose of this research is to determine the effect of the Implementation of the Inquiry Learning Model Integrated Ethno-STEM for Secondary Metabolites on the Concept Mastery and Conservation Characteristics of Students. This research is part of the Basic Research of Higher Education Excellence in 2022. The research begins in 2021 by (1) developing an ethno-STEM integrated inquiry learning model with the Sudarmin syntax through the define, design, and development stages, (2) the preparation of research instruments for mastering chemical concepts organic and conservation characters which are further validated. In this research, the application of an evaluation tool for mastery of conservation concepts and characters assisted by the google form application after learning with the Ethno-STEM integrated inquiry learning model that has been produced. The research subjects are students of chemistry education at the Faculty of Mathematics and Science (FMIPA) of Universitas Negeri Semarang for the 2021/2022 academic year. At the end of the implementation of the Ethno-STEM Integrated Inquiry learning model with the Sudarmin syntax the data were analyzed. The results of the research concluded (a) Students' concept mastery scores still need to be improved, because based on N-gain scores there are still many moderate categories, (b) understanding of the conservation character of students regarding secondary metabolites from Indonesian tropical forest plants and their benefits in achieving good categories, (c) ) The overall results of the learning activities show a positive response to the model that has been developed.

Abstract

Background: CT and MRI QC Training must have the three stages to perform, namely planning, implementation, and evaluation. In the evaluation stage, the content being tested was not comprehensive, and was still in the form of a paper base test. The study aims to develop computer-based test that is integrated with ViewDex application. Methods: The waterfall models is employed in the research development. In the process of developing a paper base of test-based evaluation system developed into a computer base test. The development of administrator ViewDex software (Java 2 platform, version 2.0) includes the stages: identification, system design, validation, program development, implementation, validation, function testing, performance testing, and maintenance stages. Limited evaluation about function and performance of the developed applications is carried out through the tests. Results: The developed ViewDex administrator can be used for evaluating the participants who joint the training program on QC CT and MRI. The performance of the ViewDex administrator application as a whole in the category is very feasible to employ as a model for evaluating the QC training program on CT and MRI. Conclusion: The ViewDex administrator application performs the process of exporting the participant data, creating questions, and importing the test results quickly and easily. The application runs successful to evaluate participants' knowledge about CT and MRI image quality performances after completing the training course entirety. All items of buttons available on the ViewDex administrator can function properly. The menu for testing users is in a good design, showing final evaluation results.

Abstract

Based on developmental tasks, adolescents have increased social interest in peers. This has an impact on mental health, so it needs to be analyzed in depth. This study aims to explore the profile of peer support in adolescents. The research approach is descriptive quantitative. The sample of this research is teenagers who study at the junior and senior high school level in Central Java which were selected randomly. The results show that on average, adolescents get peer support at a moderate level. The biggest aspect is support in obtaining awards while the lowest aspect is in terms of emotional support. This has implications for guidance and counseling services in schools in the future fostering the students to grow well.

Abstract

The role of psychology as an intermediary between players' physical, technical and tactical abilities, psychology is one of the keys to successful performance because of its influence on the competitive success of athletes. The research method used is a survey where the researcher describes the results of the Myers Briggs type indicator. The results showed that 4 athletes before filling out the questionnaire type myers briggs indicator, with personality data: Gienna Oceani Prasetyo with MBTI scale Introvert 87% - Extrovert 13%, Sensing 87% - Intuition 13%, Thinking 40% - Feeling 60%, Judging 80 % - Perceiving 20% ​​then get ISFJ personality type, Ashifa Helpa Ashuroh with MBTI scale Introvert 67% - Extrovert 33%, Sensing 60% - Intuition 40%, Thinking 53% - Feeling 47%, Judging 60% - Perceiving 40% then get ISTJ personality type, Winda Santika Wardani with MBTI scale Introvert 60% - Extrovert 40%, Sensing 53% - Intuition 47%, Thinking 53% - Feeling 47%, Judging 13% - Perceiving 87% then get the ISTP personality type, Mustikaning Song with MBTI scale Introvert 80% - Extrovert 20%, Sensing 67% - Intuition 33%, Thinking 53% - Feeling 47%, Judging 67% - Perceiving 33% then get the ISTJ personality type.

Abstract

One of the learning activities is teaching materials. Teaching materials are very helpful for students when they have difficulty understanding the learning material. The purpose of this research is to produce teaching materials assisted by geogebra material on the surface area of ​​rotating objects that are valid and practical. This research method uses the 4D development research method, but the researchers only arrived at the 3D stage of defining, designing, and developing. The research instrument used a validation sheet of 2 material experts and 1 media expert. The results of the study obtained that teaching materials assisted by geogebra material on the surface area of ​​rotating objects were valid and practical. The average acquisition of expert validation is 3.90, which means that the average score of expert validation is in the good category and is feasible to be tested. The results of the questionnaire response analysis and direct interviews, it can be concluded that these teaching materials help students learn the material because they are considered easy to understand and lead students to find problem solving using geogebra.

Abstract

Character education is an important part to be improved by school counselors through guidance and counseling services. One of the virtues that forms the basis for the development of other virtues is humility. Individuals who have high humility will be humble, kind, forgiving, and have high prosociality, on the other hand, individuals with low humility tend to be arrogant, arrogant, narcissistic and powerful so they are prone to conflict between friends. This study describes the humble character of students and their implications for counseling services. This systematic literature review begins with formulating research questions, objectives, compiling inclusion and exclusion criteria, searching for articles through databases, analyzing and reporting. Article search results are sorted and inputted in a prism diagram which is then presented per articleThe intellectual development of humility is used as a preventive effort in managing conflict and increasing many strengths such as gratitude, kindness, self-compassion, forgiveness, responsibility, discipline, integrity, and other good characters. Implications and suggestions for further research are described in this article.

Abstract

Lecturer performance is basically the performance carried out by lecturers in carrying out their duties as educators. The quality of educational outcomes is highly dependent on the quality of lecturer performance. The purpose of this study is to develop an empirical model to improve lecturer performance. The independent variables of the study consist of organizational culture, organizational commitment, and achievement motivation with the dependent variable being lecturer performance, which is a quantitative study using regression analysis. The research population is lecturers from 17 private universities in Pekalongan Residency, totaling 789 people. The research sample was 258 people using the proportional cluster random sampling technique. The results of the analysis using regression analysis obtained the following results: Organizational culture, organizational commitment, and achievement motivation partially affect the performance of lecturers. The implication of this research is that there is a need for great attention to the achievement motivation of lecturers as the main factor influencing lecturer performance.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the creative thinking process of kinesthetic students in solving arithmetic sequences and series problems with the help of congklak media based on the Wallas stages. The research method used is descriptive qualitative. The subjects of this study consisted of four students of class XI MIPA 5 SMAN 3 Kuningan who were selected using a purposive sampling technique based on the highest kinesthetic learning style questionnaire score. Data was collected through questionnaires, tests, interviews, and observations. The triangulation used is time and technique triangulation. The results showed that: (a) at the preparation stage the four subjects were able to identify problems carefully, completely, and accurately; (b) at the incubation stage, one subject asked the researcher about the concept of an arithmetic sequence, this activity is a stage where the subject looks for a relationship between the concept of an arithmetic sequence and the information contained in the problem so that the subject is able to generate other solutions that are different from what the three thinkers think. another subject; (c) at the illumination stage, the four subjects have a strong will and effort to find alternative solutions to the problems given; and (d) at the verification stage, two subjects were able to get more than one alternative answer idea for each given question, while the other two subjects had not been able to find alternative ideas/other solutions to some of the questions given.

Abstract

The major purpose of the study was to develop an elementary school teacher training program to improve TPACK literacy in Indonesia. The method used is ADDIE model (Analyze, Design, Develop, Implementation, and Evaluation). The collected data were analyzed using descriptive and inferential statistics. There are 31 statements related to TPACK literacy including: Pedagogical Knowledge (PK), Content Knowledge (CK), Technological Knowledge (TK), Pedagogical Content Knowledge (PCK), Technological Pedagogical Knowledge (TPK), Technological Content Knowledge (TCK) dan Technological Pedagogical Content Knowledge (TPACK). The results showed that the average of pretest is 67.70% and the average of postest is 71.84%. This result showed that the percentage of elementary school teacher's of TPACK literacy in the posttest is higher than in the pretest. The conclusion of this study is elementary school teacher training program can improve TPACK literacy in Indonesia.
